Extreme Almightiest Young Master

Chapter 1947 - 1929: What Do You Mean by This?

Chapter 1947 - 1929: What Do You Mean by This?

The Holy Soul Sect is the premier sect on the Holy Soul Continent, nestled in the Holy Soul Mountain Range, stretching for thousands of miles. The sect’s territory alone spans hundreds of miles, with countless terraces and pavilions. Viewed from a distance, it resembles a vast complex of palatial buildings, awe-inspiring to behold.

After Fang Yan and the others arrived at the Holy Soul Sect aboard their flying dharma treasure, they didn’t linger within the sect. Instead, they changed direction in mid-air, flying eastward, and soon they arrived atop a high mountain, where several people were already waiting.

The ship descended, and Fang Yan and his group emerged, immediately spotting an elder in a yellow robe approaching them.

"You must be from the Divine Sword Sect?" The elder in the yellow robe was none other than the Fifth Elder, who spoke to Fang Yan and the others. However, his brow furrowed slightly, thinking to himself, "How could someone at the early stage of the Human Immortal Realm be here? This is ridiculous. Is this really how the Divine Sword Sect responds?"

Seeing the Fifth Elder’s dissatisfaction, the leading Elder Wang stepped forward to explain: "Fifth Elder, the Divine Sword Sect suffered greatly in the last expedition to the forbidden area. Out of the ten Dao Saints, only nine remain, and they are all injured. These two are the least wounded. As for the other disciples, they are the strongest among the injured, not that our Divine Sword Sect is not exerting effort; this is simply the situation."

As the leader, Elder Wang naturally had to offer an explanation, but he didn’t care much. The Fifth Elder was only the fifth-ranked elder; he didn’t have much say over the situation.

Hearing Elder Wang’s explanation, even if the Fifth Elder was dissatisfied, he couldn’t say much. He continued to frown and said, "If that’s the case, then step onto the teleportation formation."

After saying this, he ignored Elder Wang and the others and led the members of the Holy Soul Sect directly onto a nearby teleportation formation. This formation, clearly aged, was about thirty feet across, one of the larger ones, capable of transporting many people at once. So everyone stepped onto it without delay.

But besides the members of the Holy Soul Sect, no one else knew the true mission, just like the Divine Sword Sect; everyone was left to speculate...

As everyone stepped onto the teleportation formation, the Fifth Elder immediately took out a Spirit Stone, placing it in a special position around the formation. A white light flashed, and everyone disappeared from the formation.

They all felt a sudden shift, appearing inside a cave hall. The hall was vast and empty, with only a very worn teleportation formation under their feet. Without saying a word, the Fifth Elder signaled for the group to follow, quickly leaving the cave hall.

As they exited the cave and reached the outside, they found themselves atop a towering peak thousands of feet high, surrounded by a sea of clouds, drifting like white veils in the sky. Occasionally, vistas of magnificent rivers and mountains could be glimpsed through the clouds.

"Now, everyone hand over your space storage dharma treasures, do not hide anything. You know the consequences. As for your belongings inside these treasures, don’t worry; they will be managed by me personally, without any issues. The reason for this is that the mission is to conquer the Divine Profound Cultivation Realm! You heard right, we are to flatten this area; any resistance encountered is to be slain immediately. Our objective is to plunder all resources," the Fifth Elder said while looking at the group, first requesting the handover of space storage dharma treasures. This conquest and looting venture involved a large amount of cultivation resources, and to prevent any pilfering, they had to resort to this method.

Upon hearing the Fifth Elder’s command, everyone was shocked, realizing, as expected, they were to conquer other cultivation realms. Truthfully, they didn’t want to kill, but with the Holy Soul Sect’s pressure, they had no choice.

And now, with the collection of space storage dharma treasures, it was clear to everyone what the Holy Soul Sect intended. Reluctantly, everyone handed over their space storage pouches to the Fifth Elder to avoid suspicion of concealment. Fang Yan also handed over a storage pouch, but he didn’t touch his space ring, a coveted treasure even a sect ancestor might not possess, so he wouldn’t be suspected. He certainly wouldn’t miss this opportunity.

"In ten days, we meet back here. These are the Universe Bags; place any plundered cultivation resources in them, and they must be handed over. There will be severe punishment for any concealment. However, the sect will give some compensation based on your contributions; you can rest assured on that point."

After collecting all the space storage dharma treasures, the Fifth Elder nodded at the group, as everyone had complied, and under his watchful eye, no one could tamper with the process. He had already used his Divine Sense to check everyone’s belongings, finding no trace of other dharma treasures, and thus began distributing the Universe Bags for storing looted resources.

In truth, he didn’t want other sects to get involved, but there was no other way. Initially, they only used the Holy Soul Sect to conquer the Yellow Profound Continent. Although the Yellow Profound Continent wasn’t particularly strong and could be easily crushed, its vast size meant it took nearly a month to complete the conquest.

So, upon returning to the Holy Soul Sect, after discussing with the Great Elder and others, they realized that conquering other cultivation realms at this pace would be time-inefficient. Reluctantly, they decided to include members of the other three major sects. They knew this would mean sharing some of the resources, but it was necessary, given the numerous other cultivation realms. Conquering one a month, collecting Black Spirit Stones might take decades, a timeline unacceptable to the Sect Master and Ancestor.

"Now, let’s distribute tasks. Each of your three sects is responsible for one direction. Remember, this mission comes from the Sect Master, and if the resources you loot are insufficient, the sect’s punishment will follow; I won’t be able to plead on your behalf." After distributing the Universe Bags, a harsh glint flashed in the Fifth Elder’s eyes. With this simple warning, he led the members of the Holy Soul Sect, swiftly heading in one direction.

The members of the three remaining sects exchanged glances and could only shake their heads helplessly. They each chose a direction and led their people away. This conquest was unreasonable and would undoubtedly increase their karmic sins, but in the current situation, they had no choice but to follow the Holy Soul Sect’s orders.

Regarding the other three paths, focusing solely on Elder Wang leading the Divine Sword Sect team, after descending through the clouds, they hurried at full speed, their Divine Sense scanning everything around them. Before long, they encountered a sect, which, from a distance, looked quite grand, covering an area of dozens of miles.

"Let’s go down. Follow my command," Elder Wang said helplessly, looking at the sect below. Though he didn’t advocate for conquering other cultivation realms, the situation now forced him to do so.

With these words, the group descended from high altitudes, hovering directly at the entrance of this sect. Above the grand archway, more than twenty feet tall, were inscribed the words "Jade Sect."

The disciples of the Jade Sect, a few floating in mid-air, were instantly struck with fear. They knew well enough what this signified—it meant the others were all stronger than the Human Immortal Realm, causing immediate tension and a momentary paralysis, unsure of how to react.

"Call forth your Sect Ancestor or Sect Master," Elder Wang said calmly at this moment. His plan was that if the other sect opened its treasure vault, allowing them to take everything, they wouldn’t have to resort to violence. However, if refused, they would not hesitate to act, unwilling to risk the Divine Sword Sect members under the pressure of the Holy Soul Sect.

Hearing Elder Wang’s words, the disciples of the Jade Sect immediately turned and rushed back into the sect. It wasn’t long before alarm bells rang out, and over a dozen figures soared into the sky, led by an exceedingly old-looking man—Ancestor Jade of the Jade Sect.

As the members of the Jade Sect appeared before Elder Wang and his group, Ancestor Jade emerged from the lineup, looking at Elder Wang and asking, "May I know for what reason you Taoists have come to my Jade Sect?"

Inspecting the people before him, Ancestor Jade’s heart was incredibly tense, for the leader, Elder Wang, was someone even he couldn’t discern the realm of, and the remaining seven young people were all at least at the early Human Immortal Realm. The strength they displayed was astonishingly formidable!

It was known in the Divine Profound Cultivation Realm that the Jade Sect was considered sizable, with at most a dozen people at the Human Immortal Realm, only he reaching the later stage, with two in the middle stage and the rest at the early stage. If they fought against such a force, the Jade Sect would stand no chance.

Moreover, what puzzled him most was where these people came from. It was known that no sect in the Divine Profound Cultivation Realm could field such an impressive lineup, nor had there been any news of young disciples entering the Human Immortal Realm. The fact that all seven young people were at this level clearly indicated they were not from the Divine Profound Cultivation Realm. He had to understand their intentions.

"Surrender all cultivation resources within the sect and open the sect’s treasury. I can spare your lives," Elder Wang said to Ancestor Jade in a calm tone.

These words completely changed the faces of the Jade Sect members, not expecting this to be the other’s intention. If all cultivation resources were taken, what would be left to cultivate? The sect’s foundation would be utterly destroyed!

"Taoist friend, what do you mean by this?" Ancestor Jade asked Elder Wang, his face darkening. As the ancestor of the Jade Sect, he could not possibly comply. He needed to understand what the other party meant. If necessary, offering a portion to preserve the Jade Sect’s strength wasn’t out of the question.
