Extreme Almightiest Young Master

Chapter 1898 - 1880: Creation Elixir

Chapter 1898 - 1880: Creation Elixir

"Senior Sister, you actually don’t need to rush. Entering the sect a bit later doesn’t really matter, and there’s no need to take it so seriously. They aren’t facing any major issues, but you’re different, and you shouldn’t be troubled by these things," Lin Feng smiled warmly at Chu Meng, offering his comfort. He well understood Chu Meng’s condition and environment, which is why he didn’t concern himself with the level of cultivation Chu Meng had achieved.

But even though Lin Feng thought this way, Chu Meng didn’t feel the same. After a moment of hesitation, she said to Lin Feng, "Junior Brother, I don’t want to fall behind Wan’er and the others. Since I’ve been distracted by matters of the Cloud Fund, I’ll find a way to train a successor and gradually step back. That way, I can devote myself entirely to cultivation. I, Chu Meng, am not someone who admits defeat."

"Don’t push yourself too hard, but training a successor is the right move. After the battle in the Human-Immortal realm, nobody knows what we’ll become. Perhaps I’ll take you all to settle in another place," Lin Feng said casually as he looked at Chu Meng. Indeed, this was his thought, and he was merely voicing it ahead of time.

Upon hearing Lin Feng’s words, Chu Meng’s face blushed instantly, unsure how to respond. Although nothing was ever explicitly stated between her and Lin Feng, his words revealed her place in his heart. Yet, she still felt somewhat embarrassed.

Lin Feng said nothing further, simply holding Chu Meng gently in his arms, standing silently...

...

After leaving the fourth level of the Ice Abyss, Fang Yan returned to the second level and used his Communication Spirit Jade to contact Qin Kun and Wu Shan.

"Where are the two of you?" Fang Yan asked directly once the connection was made.

"Boss, we’re in a ravine about more than three thousand miles northwest," Qin Kun answered eagerly upon hearing Fang Yan’s voice.

"Boss, come find us quick. The place is easy to recognize; there’s only one ravine around here, and we’re at the bottom of it," Wu Shan chimed in, sounding equally excited.

"A ravine? What are you doing in a ravine?" Fang Yan was puzzled by their response, confused why the two had ventured into the ravine when it seemingly served no purpose.

"Boss, you wouldn’t believe it. Wu Shan and I came across a very peculiar Demon Beast here. After killing it, we discovered a cave. Inside, there’s actually a Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree. Wu Shan and I are waiting here for you; otherwise, we could have wandered off somewhere unknown by now."

"Boss, don’t say anything more. You’ll see what it’s like when you get here. It’s really enormous..."

Qin Kun and Wu Shan were urging Fang Yan to quickly join them, as the Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit was something extraordinary and rare. And since Boss Fang Yan was an Alchemist, upon learning about the Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree, he would surely rush over.

It’s just over three thousand miles, and with Fang Yan’s full effort, it only took a few hours to reach the place. Just as his subordinates described, he soon spotted the giant ravine and leaped directly down into it. Within moments, he found the cave entrance, evidently marked by the Demon Beast lying frozen stiff at the doorstep, something hard to overlook.

Once inside the cave, Fang Yan immediately sensed the spiritual energy was extraordinarily abundant, several times, or even over ten times, denser than outside. Even considering the presence of a Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree nurturing the area, it didn’t quite adhere to logic.

Cautiously, he approached Qin Kun and Wu Shan, witnessing firsthand the Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree before them, and the Myriad Spirits Golden Fruit on its branches. This revelation truly stunned Fang Yan. Who would have thought such a precious treasure was hidden on the Ice Abyss’s second level? Fang Yan became quite curious about how Qin Kun and Wu Shan came upon it while so many explorations by others had turned up empty.

"Don’t get too excited just yet; tell me how you discovered this place," Fang Yan asked earnestly. This was no ordinary occurrence, and understanding what transpired was crucial.

"Qin Kun and I had nothing to do and were intrigued by the ravine, so we descended, killed the beast at the entrance, and discovered this place. It’s as simple as that. Is there something abnormal about it?" Wu Shan responded to Fang Yan’s serious inquiry, sincerely puzzled. To him, it seemed perfectly straightforward with nothing unusual.

Wu Shan’s lack of contemplation contrasted with Qin Kun, who suddenly realized the peculiarity. The uniquely powerful Demon Beast at the entrance, potentially being confined there intentionally, along with the bones scattered around—all this suggested it was deliberate!

"Boss...are you saying someone intentionally left the Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree here?" Qin Kun wondered aloud, now perceiving the unusual situation. Who would plant a Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree and station such a formidable Demon Beast at the entrance, and to what end?

"I believe that’s the case. Moreover, have you considered that even with the Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree, the concentration of spiritual energy shouldn’t be this rich?" Fang Yan reasoned with them. They lacked experience and perspective, matters they needed to develop over time.

"This...we really hadn’t thought of that!"

"We...we were just focused on cultivation and didn’t think about it..."

Fang Yan’s words left Qin Kun and Wu Shan feeling awkward, realizing they had overlooked something crucial. They’d been engrossed in cultivation since arriving and hadn’t contemplated these aspects. But now, Fang Yan’s insight opened their eyes to the evident anomaly in spiritual energy concentration.

"If my guess is correct, the Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree was deliberately placed here, with the entrance Demon Beast serving as its guard. Normally, this Demon Beast alone would eliminate those attempting to explore here. Were it not for you two, the secret would remain undiscovered."

"Furthermore, I suspect there’s more than just the Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree sustaining this space’s unusual spiritual energy levels. Other treasures are ensuring it!" Fang Yan shared his conjecture, starting to explore the cave without attending further to the shocked Qin Kun and Wu Shan.

The cave wasn’t large, making a thorough examination quick. To Fang Yan’s surprise, he didn’t find anything unusual. If there was an anomaly, it was centered solely around the Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree. Everything else appeared normal.

Of course, beneath the Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree!

A sudden insight dawned on Fang Yan, clearing his previous misjudgment. Likely, the treasure preserving this space’s unusual spiritual energy levels was buried beneath the Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree. This placement allowed the Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree to absorb more spiritual energy without causing it to dissipate!

Fang Yan grinned at this realization, truly a blessing. By transplanting the Myriad Spirts Divine Fruit Tree into a Space Ring, he could continue its growth, epitomizing the saying: ’One generation plants the trees, another enjoys the shade.’

But Fang Yan decided not to act immediately. With such dense spiritual energy, and three to four mature Myriad Spirits Golden Fruits already on the tree, there was no rush to leave before refining the Elixir.

"You two protect me while I refine the Elixir," Fang Yan instructed the waiting duo with a hint of detachment. Immediately, he brought out the Square Sky Furnace, and with a single hand movement, a bizarre two-colored flame appeared—deep purple on the outside, and deep blue on the inside, the Soul Melting Flame and Extreme Cold Ice Fire he had tamed.

Having set everything up, Fang Yan retrieved numerous Spiritual Medicines from his ring, pondering briefly before sending a Myriad Spirits Golden Fruit flying into his hand. He then closed his eyes, and his body alternated between ice-cold auras and intense flames—a truly peculiar sight.

The Square Sky Furnace soon completed its preheating phase, with Gang Qi-formed arms placing the Spiritual Medicines into the furnace one by one...

Not hesitating, Qin Kun and Wu Shan rushed to the cave entrance to stand guard, aware that the Elixir Fang Yan sought to refine could only be heavenly grade, given its use of a Myriad Spirits Golden Fruit!

Leaving aside Qin Kun and Wu Shan, focusing instead on Fang Yan’s alchemy:

This time, Fang Yan was crafting a truly extraordinary Elixir—the Creation Elixir, with the Myriad Spirits Golden Fruit as its principal ingredient. Unlike the Myriad Spirits Golden Pill known to Qin Kun and Wu Shan—suitable solely for Earth Immortal Realm powerhouses—the Creation Elixir was suited for anyone and of a higher grade, a Heaven Rank second-grade Elixir!

Were it not for the abundant spiritual energy, the possession of two Heaven and Earth Strange Fire types, and a treasure like the Square Sky Furnace, Fang Yan wouldn’t attempt crafting such an Elixir.

The Creation Elixir, its name alone suggests it’s extraordinary. Its effects are beyond astonishing, refining the bones, tendons, and meridians, and enhancing both the body and Divine Sense. Without exaggeration, any cultivator who consumes a Creation Elixir can transform from a mediocrity into a genius. Such miraculous Elixirs had all but vanished.

But fortunately, Lin Feng held the Alchemy Prescription and had passed it on to Fang Yan. Given this opportunity, it was impossible for Fang Yan to turn it down, no matter the difficulty involved in crafting the Elixir. With determination, Fang Yan eagerly embarked on the challenge.
