Lin Feng just smiled faintly at Leng Mei’s words.
"I was thinking, back then it was only you who had the guts to sit across from me. It was also because of this that you later became my subordinate," Leng Mei recalled the past, when Lin Feng shattered her pride so completely there was nothing left. It was also then that she convinced Lin Feng to teach at the French Department, which is how their paths crossed in the first place.
"You’re right, teaching at the French Department really suited me. I was very happy being with them," Lin Feng thought of his students and felt proud remembering how he was during class.

Leng Mei stared at Lin Feng, unable to believe what he was saying.

When did Lin Feng learn medicine? He was just good with languages, and why wouldn’t he let Grandpa Ding and Grandpa Qian carry him to the hospital?
