Although Leng Weichen seemed courteous toward her, it was apparent to anyone with eyes that he had little interest in her.

"Huo Anya!" A sharp, authoritative voice directly called out her name.
Huo Anya instantly stiffened, her voice halting abruptly.
Lifting her eyes, she saw Leng Weichen’s handsome face darkened like thunderclouds, his voice as icy as frost. "Have you said enough? My company’s hiring decisions are not for you to interfere with. For today’s incident, I’ll overlook it out of respect for Mr. Huo. But if you continue to spread nonsense and disrupt my employees’ work, don’t blame me for being ruthless."
Huo Anya had been waiting eagerly for Leng Weichen to be persuaded by her, for him to coldly fire Lin Banxia, leaving her destitute and in despair.
But what she never expected was for Leng Weichen to scold her for meddling.
Lin Banxia, too, had been nervously awaiting the result of this tense moment. Hearing Leng Weichen’s words, she froze in astonishment.
