Yin Tianshen walked slowly into the drugstore and said to Sister Lan, "Give me two boxes of instant heart medicine."

"I say, Brother Shen, you typically don’t meddle in other people’s business. Why’d you help that small pharmacy girl just now? Don’t tell me you fancy her?" Leizi recalled Qiu Zi, "But, she is good-looking."
Yin Tianshen gave Leizi a sidelong glance, a faint smile at the corner of his mouth, murmuring, "Because she resembles someone."
"Someone?" Leizi was taken aback, "Who?"
"Someone I might never be able to have." The smile on Yin Tianshen’s lips gradually turned into a wistful one as he lowered his head and quickened his pace.
Bai Yiran slept until it was dark. Sister Liu had already prepared dinner, and just as she was about to call Bai Yiran, she found her already awake.
"How are you feeling? Are you still not feeling well?" Sister Liu asked.
Bai Yiran shook her head, "No, I’m just a bit hungry."
She had only had two bowls of soup at noon, which digested quickly, leaving her quite famished now.
Sister Liu smiled, "The gentleman called back, saying he might be home late tonight. He asked you not to wait for him and to rest early."
"Mm." Bai Yiran sat at the dining table, a faint unease rising in her heart. Her hand instinctively moved to her belly, "Baby, you must be healthy."
