Kiera dove in first. Her movement was smooth and fluid, streaking straight at Maya.

With Liam’s condition weighing on her mind, she wanted to immediately eliminate this weak-looking girl and go check on him.

Maya’s eyes narrowed, and she immediately swung her weapon.

Kiera was forced to halt in her tracks, the blade of the scythe narrowly missing her.

His exposed right eye which was barely open, however, made a chill run down her spine.
