Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 716 - 715 - Rise of New Methods

Chapter 716 - 715 - Rise of New Methods

The beast tide in the Shanliang Peaks Kingdom drew a lot of eyes for over 7 years.  It was a vicious time and the Fiends began to send forces once more against the defensive line as well.

Still, relative peace left many powers looking into rumors and opportunities.  That led to the revelation of orphans being taken in by the Sanctuary Empire.  Many believed it was just for man power but then a whole lot of World Realms appeared out of nowhere!

While they were very weak cultivators, the sheer number was insane!  Over 12 million all in the same realm!

A massive roundhouse of Gold Tier tribulations were noted as they could not be hidden.  So many all at once was simply too enticing to ignore.

It was then that Lind's new artifacts and testing methods led to new training methods for such results!

The consumption of resources was hardly noticed either which drew a lot of eyes.  Even in the Heaven Realm lands, raising that many World Realms so quickly was nearly unheard of!

Lind now had ministers and master trainers to negotiate with envoys but the cycle of admitting new members suddenly slowed down as powers realized the untapped potential they could have if they followed Lind's example.

He was amused as it would not be easy since the only versions of the artifacts were made by him personally and had been made better each year.

He finally felt confident in their accuracy but still found the profession evaluation was not final.

A perfect example was right in front of him covered in sweat and burnt smudges on their tan robes.

Ruby was slamming a hammer against the mold as it broke open to reveal the still scorching metal inside.  It was a long shaft she was working on but he saw Qi flow like a storm into the metal at her command.

She was only a peak Iron Tier but her skill was stunning as a Forger when the shaft changed shaped at one end to make a halberd tip with the other side a dagger blade.  The once smooth blade became covered in patterns as its durability and deflection was increased dramatically.

Ruby fell back a bit but he caught her.

"M-master!"  She nearly jumped out of her skin at him being there but then turned crimson as he picked up her new halberd.  He felt how light it was but it was peak Heaven grade 3!  Ruby had become a Forger when she became a Soul Realm.

Her physique then seemed to birth a level of progress as Lind once had back then.

"It is not bad at all.  I would submit it as your best work.  There is a minor conflict but it is easily fixed."  He then showed her how the Forged elements were not quite in balance and shifted them slightly.  She nodded as she grasped her mistake.

"Is it good now?"  Lind looked it over and smiled.

"Sa will find it good for his methods."  Ruby instantly blushed an even deeper crimson and tried to hide the halberd from him.  He patted her head but she simply jumped back once more.

"I–i–it is not for him!"  She then ran off but he smiled.  She would be ready to advance soon.  She was graduating but Sa had a ways to go due to his physique throwing up a few more obstacles.

Sa's body had been suddenly invigorated by his physique so his bloodline woke up like a switch had been flipped.  His eyes turned gray and reptilian.  His skin was not only pale but could be altered in appearance as well.

His bones also became far more flexible but it slowed his advance until the balance could be restored.

He favored weapons like the halberd rather than daggers as Lind expected but his bloodline could be why.

The skills he had made it hard to judge weapon position or true reach.  A halberd would be a good match for him.

Sa did not awaken any profession skills but he could eke out more power from formations more than most.

Lind smirked but then a well muscled girl entered the sweltering furnace area.  She had shining golden hair and eyes.  Her skin seemed to glow but the heat hardly bothered her.  Same with cold or any discomfort really.

"Master, more envoys have ordered the artifacts.  Senior Sister Lua and Fey also asked me to remind you that you have a day off tomorrow."  Lind smiled as he would hardly forget a day off anymore.

Teela rolled her eyes.

"I am not acting as a distraction this time!"  He laughed as he patted her head.

"They love you!  You were smiling ear to ear when they called you Auntie Teela."  She blushed deeply but before she could say anything, a voice cut her off.

"Sora, do not run that way!"  A child with faint green hair came running towards Lind and he happily swept them up in his arms.

"You being a troublemaker again?  Shoti would be proud!"  A giggling girl hugged her father tight.  It was one of his daughters.  Lind then looked stern and she backed off.  "Did you run from Tal again?"

Said person was looking sternly at Sora and Lind.  The little girl tried to cry but Lind was not that indulgent.

"Big Sis is mean!"  Lind sighed as he looked at Tal.

"She broke her training weapon again."  Lind sighed as he felt sorry about that.  It was his fault.

It seemed progenitor blood had a rather annoying side effect.  All his children would be stronger, faster, and generally overpowered even as mortals.

Shoti's daughter also inherited her mother's penchant for being way too lax too!

"What do you say to Big Sister Tal?"  Sora pouted then looked back.

"I am sorry."  Tal sighed but nodded.

"How are the others?"  She looked at him but Sora was the one who answered.

"Iso showed off again!  She is meanie!"  Lind smiled as he patted her head but Tal actually backed her up.

"She was smiling at Sora when she completed her sets perfectly.  Pride is fine but she went a little far."  Lind sighed and made a note to talk to Qing about Isolde.  It was fine to have rivals but not to rub their faces in it.

"I have to make new artifacts again since no one has been able to replicate the current version yet.  I will talk to Shoti and Qing.  We will talk to these 2."  Then Lind saw a face disappear around the far corner.

"Of course, if someone did well and simply wants to tell us, that is good too."  Lind raised his voice and both Teela and Tal rolled their eyes at his bad acting.

A gorgeous lavender face looked around the corner again.

Unlike any demon he knew, her eyes were as emerald as his own but she was definitely a demon.

That was right, he had 3 daughters right there.  Lind was severely outnumbered in his family.

"Syrilla?  How was training today?"  The little demoness fidgeted but then bowed low before whispering an answer.

"I completed my task, Father."  Lind smiled gently as he patted the dark blue hair on her head.

"All right, be good and clean up before heading home.  It is my day off tomorrow and we will go see your brothers!"  The girls perked up immediately.

Sora practically hopped down and they ran back to the training room with Tal in tow.

"Master, how are your sons?"  Lind lost his smile.  It was not so easy a question.  Like his daughters, his sons were just as affected but even more so.

His son from Ethry was incredibly powerful but still just an aether beast.  It told him a lot about how special Ethry was or perhaps being an Immortal was key to have sentient children as beasts.

Also, his dragon son was a spitting image of his dragon form but in black.  He had birthed a darkness dragon!

His son from Kora was a mix of gold and emerald feathers but far smarter yet still a beast.  They were now in the World Realm due to the powerful bloodlines in their veins but they only calmed around family.

If strangers walked up, they would kill them immediately.

Then there were the younger 2.  They were a boy and girl as well but were 2 years younger than the older ones.

Lysanna gave him a son and Annabelle a daughter.  They played well enough with their humanoid siblings but a nasty scare with other beasts made the 2 fear their brothers.  It made him sad.

"They are progressing.  Miles is starting to show signs of grasping that his brothers will not harm him but Sally refuses to go tomorrow."  Teela actually did look sad at that.

"Anyway, let me finish my work for today and I will conduct your next lesson as planned.  Shea should be there for her final lesson."  Teela looked genuinely sad then.  He patted her head once more.

All things came to an end eventually.  However, he felt their friendship would simply change and not end with distance.
