Fey had not been idle since she ascended to the Heaven Realm. Mira and a few other alchemists had actively searched out experts to learn from as the rest found and settled an area for the Moebius Sect to be built.
After Lind was able to talk to them, he had held many lessons for Fey and his other close ones to pass on if they could, but Fey was taught at a young age how to view the elements so her progress exploded.
She blew past many of her contemporaries until she grasped the next step as if it was as easy as breathing. She had no bottlenecks at all. It just took time to prove she could pass the assessment each time.
She had taken a few centuries to reach the peak of Immortal Grade 6. It had stunned many alchemists but considering her cultivation, it was not surprising entirely.
Still, the fact she was able to make 3 low grade 7 pills in 3 consecutive months was enough to put her at the top of the experts in the current cultivation world. She made it more stunning by still being in the Heaven Realm!
Normally, grade 7 was behind the hard wall of the Immortal Realm but Lind had proven it was possible and his oldest disciple replicated the feat to prove it was not a one off miracle.!
After the major battle, Fey had to heal like many but she had many powerful pills to help speed it up so she was back in peak condition in less than a year.
When Ethry and Lysanna came to her to be the envoy, she had jumped at the chance. She was far from the naive girl so long ago and had been fully polished in the heart of the war. Unlike many members of the family, she went out to fight or heal as needed.
It honed her comprehension in ways just meditating and talking about the concepts could not. She still had to seek clarification at times but her ability to comprehend was far better than most as Lind had taught her something most overlooked when teaching cultivators.
He taught her how to not assume she was right and always to step back if she got stuck compared to others that kept pushing ahead until enlightenment or other opportunities could be found. Luck played a large role in such an approach.
It was not invalid at all but Lind's method required being able to keep a flexible mind that many found disrespectful to seniors imparting knowledge to their juniors. Lind actually welcomed being proved wrong!
The results spoke for themselves as many 6 elemental profession masters also began to explode forward after his lessons were imparted, but it would take centuries until such a method would be able to spread, if other powers even allowed it.
For the moment, she stood in front of 16 Immortals that did not technically exist according to any records most could find but she was not there to out them. All she wanted was her Father to come home to them!

The old man with the small scale stone circle in front of him was quick to adapt and gave his compatriots time to adjust but Fey was not interested in wasting time.
"There is no need to be cordial as we both are here to gain from each other. You want materials from Big Sister Ethry but she has obvious bottom lines." She saw several fidget but she did not pause. "No blood essence, none of her reproductive material, and neither of her eyes are on the table. Also, anything that would be tested on her is not allowed."
The restrictions were unfortunate but understandable but several of the old people coughed at the last line of words. Clearly they had thought of such an option but Fey cut it off. They had many meetings to consider what they might want to do and those were obvious.
"I am empowered to negotiate beyond that but it will ultimately be up to 2 things if we settle on a possible agreement. If Big Sister Ethry agrees of course and if you all can deliver." Again, no one had much objection to the first part but bristled at the last few words.
"Ahem, while I can appreciate being blunt fellow Daoist Fey, you should still be respectful. We have all lived far longer than you, after all." The old man tried to calm the room but Fey simply smiled as she summoned a vial in her hands.
Dragon blood. It was a vial of Divine Dragon blood! No essence did not mean no blood!
"I have been separated from my Father long enough and will not waste time on a dead end. We are willing to be serious about this if you can deliver." Etigg saw he was losing ground as the other elders of the Guild Hall were clearly willing to try for access to the materials regardless of what he personally decided.
It seemed Moebius Sect was not willing to play the usual game but at the same time they had the carrot and stick in a single move.
Dragon materials were just that precious.
They knew they had their attention and had come prepared since they knew of the 16 Immortals existence.
It seemed he had to act quickly or the Guild Hall would become an auction very quickly.
"Very well, what do you want from us to even begin to ask for materials?" His question finally had the effect of cooling the room off but Fey smiled as she pointed at the stone circle. She also tossed a jade slip at the Etigg.
"Reforge the inner ring with the coordinates I have given you and the specially marked one will work as the final point." Etigg was confused but once he examined the jade slip his face actually became immersed in various ideas.
It was the basics of the Gate of Heaven use that Lind had sent but it was not useful to the Moebius Sect experts. They had their own copy but the Forger in front of her quickly grasped it as he had a much better feeling for Laws.
"Genius." Etigg's first word made many want to look at the jade slip but he quickly understood what he needed to do. Compared to re-creating the artifact, he understood the system it worked under.
The symbols changed but none of the others grasped what they meant. The instant they changed, Etigg infused Qi into it and it began to spin!
The small scale had but one function it demonstrated it right in front of them.
The space inside the ring collapsed into a shining pool of light and rippled like a liquid. All of them felt stunned as their senses could feel a space beyond it but then were shocked that an aura came through as well.
[Fey, what is going on?]
The voice had never been heard by them but her reaction told them all they needed.
"Father, we have come to grade 7 experts to try and complete the Gate to Heaven. With your basic jade slip, they were able to modify the model you sent to us." Her words made all of them sit up as another grade 7 expert was speaking.
[What do they want?]
She smiled at how quickly he jumped to that but she did not answer directly.
"We currently proved the concept which was enough to begin negotiations. Afterall, such a unique item is hard to come by." She stared at Etigg who quickly understood.
"Master Frey, I am peak mid grade 7 Forger Etigg of Jinzi Kingdom. It is a pleasure to speak with you." The others quickly also sent greetings but silence answered them.
Suddenly, a much more powerful aura came through the small gate.
[I am Lanbao. I am instructed to pass on a message as Emperor Frey has been called to address an issue in our empire. He gives his apologies.]
Fey twitched as she realized it was far more likely Lind was angry. He knew his family very well but would not want to call them out, so he sent his own heavy weapon. How did he have a Shard Tier working for him?!
"Senior, I am Fey, his daughter. I am currently in charge but simply wanted to show how the Gate to Heaven worked. I can take things from here." Fey bowed even though she was unsure how much Lanbao could see.
[Honored Daughter, I am pleased to greet you. Your father has stated he will not allow harm to his family. I would recommend whoever you are to not cross his bottomline. The Fiends have done so several times. They are all dead now.]
A chill entered the room.
"Father is fine with open trade, however, correct?" Fey was calm and the long pause made all 16 Immortals sweat as a Shard Tier was someone they dared not cross. Their allies had to know about this issue as soon as possible.
Lind Frey was no longer a middle power!
He was called Emperor and had a Shard Tier as his follower! That was a peak high power no matter how anyone looked at it!
[He can find no objection to that but he wants your promise no one will be harmed. Further, he sends this as a good faith offer.]
A jade slip suddenly appeared but its aura was clearly at the same level as Lanbao! Both Etigg and Fey examined it and saw it was new theories related to elixirs, Forging, and Weaving!
Etigg practically drooled as it would make negotiations much easier!
"This is more than acceptable! Please thank fello—I mean Emperor Frey!" Etigg's change of address told all in the room all they needed to know. They all bowed low as the stone circle suddenly destabilized and broke connection.
"As you can see, there are many benefits to working with us." Fey did not miss a beat and Etigg actually smiled as he bowed at her. They sent a good expert to them. Her experience on the battlefield had left her with good instincts.
She had defused her Father easily and still held the initiative of the negotiations.
"Let us begin again, Daoist Fey. I think we can agree the jade slip makes things easier for us both so all we need are some materials after we study this new artifact." Fey smiled at his words as they began to set conditions to be met before any materials could be exchanged.
The jade slip was freely offered so it was theirs but the materials were still behind the wall of replicating what just happened.
It might take years, but Etigg was convinced they could do it with the help of the jade slip! The inspiration alone was worth a fortune!
