Chapter 482 - 481 - Sky Battle
The wyverns saw the object that looked like a giant seed. It had a narrow point with a large fat end. It was an intruder!
The pale white beasts roared as they all dove in almost like a formation but it twirled and moved like it was a rocket!
It dove down then sharply back up catching the wyverns off guard. They could not turn as fast but blasts of air and light lashed out from their throats.
The seed seemed to see attacks in the back of its head as it dodged or avoided all the attacks with ease!
A different roar came from the flight chasing the intruder as more wyverns appeared from above.
It could not escape them now!
Darkness suddenly blotted out the sun and the beasts were confused until they used their sense of smell to try and locate it. Air flowed like a storm to make it impossible to smell it!
The beasts, however, were one of the masters of the skies.
Instinct guided them towards their foe until the darkness finally fell away to reveal the seed sparking dangerously!
Before they could break away, lightning spread across the 2 flights. Wyverns were not as weak as birds so it hurt but did not debilitate them. Still, they were more wary of their prey.
A third flight appeared but none of them called for it.
Their enemy suddenly pulled in Qi and a storm appeared around it due to that! It used the local conditions to induce a storm!
It was pathetically weak but the issue was the turbulent wind. Their ability to fly was natural so it was enough to keep them at bay.
The beasts were becoming frustrated but also it was fun! Joy of a worthy foe filled their minds as the ancient relation to dragons rose.
The 3 flights suddenly combined to use their air Qi to break the turbulence to close in but then fire exploded outward carried on the wind!
Like the other attacks, it was irritating but hardly an issue.
It became clear the intruder could not hurt them easily but a new change came over it.
A part of it opened as a small being stepped out. Something about him made them wary, yet the threat from him was far more in just his pressure.
A dim memory of similar beings came from their race memory and they began to create more complex arrangements of Qi.
It combined light and air into a fierce attack and the small being seemed to glow with emerald light.
A giant roll of thunder caused the air to vibrate violently as a shockwave approached the seed. The being waved his hand and easily dispersed it.
The feeling of pressure was clear so the flights called for help.
Much farther up, a white and azure wyvern much greater in size descended.
The flight retreated as their superior looked at the tiny being on the seed.
"It has been some time since one of your kind came here, but you do not have permission of our Lord. He was long killed by the evil ones." The booming voice filled their ears but the tension was building. "You defy the order of the world and must pay for that!"
Water and air combined into a torrential stream that slammed outward far faster than the other wyverns could do. Another stream of lightning came from below at the same time. The other senior had come.
The small figure did not seem bothered as he flew up suddenly and profound sigils appeared.
The wyverns all narrowed their eyes at the familiar ability of their enemy but it felt nothing like they expected. Further, all felt Heaven rejoice suddenly as emerald light flared as both attacks slammed into the man.
Shock flooded them all as the attacks were negated!
The seniors were nearing the peak of the Sky Realm, how could a puny man stand up to 2 of them?!
Suddenly, all 6 elements appeared around the man which conflicted greatly with all their race memories. They knew of such beings but they were flawed and could never reach the Sky Realm, yet one was before them!
The sound of thunder filled the air as emerald lightning danced in newly made clouds that became a twister! The wind picked up speed as they all realized the powers of the seed came from that man!
He was using the profound Qi around him to create greater attacks than his pressure revealed possible at the peak of tier 5!
How he negated the attacks suddenly made sense. He used the 2 seniors' attacks against each other!
The World Realm beasts felt actual fear then. Their increased intelligence informed them this being was not easy to kill and further would kill many of them if attacked.
The crimson and gold senior floated up to take the twister and his own skill weakened the storm. The water and air flowed like rivers to create lashes in uncounted numbers at the man.
They cut through the weakened storm like it was paper but the man was bathed in light and darkness. The lashes slowed until the seed itself moved out of the way and then the lashes sped up again to fly through nothing.
"TIME?! That was time?!" Both seniors exclaimed as doubt filled their minds. No minion of the evil ones would be allowed to become that powerful.
They would kill them long before then.
"I am grateful for your assistance in testing my new creation and letting me test myself, but the battle is over now." A voice suddenly came from the fading storm. The man was shimmering in emerald but the sensation from him was vastly different then.
All of them felt the need to prostrate themselves.
The man bulged as emerald scales covered his body. A tail and claws appeared as the head elongated into a full snout. The feeling coming from him stirred their race memories as mighty beasts roared in them.
"ROOOAAAAAARRRRRR!!!!" The mountain seemed to shake in excitement as the being shook it with his voice. The World Realm wyverns all landed back on the mountain and laid down in obedience.
The 2 tier 9 Sky Realms wanted to resist but the aura coming from the man was clear. He was a dragon!
Why would a dragon be in this world once more after all that time?
"You are a false dragon!!" A new voice boomed from above as a black and red wyvern appeared. Burning magma was unleashed as the other 2 also attacked. They knew how to avoid conflicting their attacks so they combined well.
The man did not move and simply glared at them. Their hearts quivered suddenly when the Heavens unloaded lightning on all 3 attacks at once!
The 3 Sky Realms felt those attacks were at the peak of Star Tier!
It did not come from the man at all!
Heaven protected him!
Their race memory told them the only time that would happen.
All 3 wyverns were reluctant but now Heavenly pressure was on them as they bowed in midair to the man.
"Please forgive our insolence, Divine One." The water and air wyvern spoke for them. Emerald light coalesced into a near solid form and they finally felt it. Dragon soul. The being truly was a Divine dragon!
"There is nothing to forgive. I am here by accident and am somewhat aware of the current status of this realm. Is there a place to go to speak?" All 3 turned to above and the sinuous shape nodded before retracting back into a human form.
He entered the seed object and followed them up the mountain.

Lind was exhausted but happy. The Nautilus had exceeded his expectations considering how resilient the wyverns were to basic elemental attacks.
Kiran and Mika looked a little sick from the rough maneuvers. Still they were impressed by all they saw outside.
"Stay inside the ship. The density of Qi out there is not healthy for you both. I will see what I can find out and try to make a place for you to cultivate safely." The ship was not a bad place for the moment but if Kiran blew through the Soul Realm, a very real possibility, her tribulation would be better to face outside when she got back to the Gold Tier.
The ship only had a few cracks that were easily repaired from the battle as the 3 Sky Realm wyverns finally came to a massive cavern in the side of the mountain. He hoped to get some answers about the current mortal realm.
He only hoped there were no more surprises as meeting 3 peak Sky Realm wyverns was enough.
