Chapter 432 - 431 - New Home
The Tidao Syndicate was destroyed by the Heavenly Maiden Sect in a sudden move few understood. The fact the other supreme powers did nothing to stop them indicated they knew the reason.
It was not the only attack, but it was the one that drew the most attention as it had the largest force. The Divine Sword Sect suddenly worked with the Sword Breakers Sect to seemingly move against several demon and human organizations that were known to have shady techniques.
Rumors swirled across the spectrum but one name kept coming up again and again.
Lind Frey.
The man had caused a ruckus by his arrival but now he was back in the spotlight for an entirely different reason. Most powers could not get all of it, but he seemed to have found out something dangerous and critical to the Alliance.
It was said that Baihu had to give up his vendetta in all ways but few knew if that was true or not. What was true was that Lind Frey no longer had to hide. The Babylon Guild had made an official declaration.
The Moebius Sect was officially recognized and further, it had set up its headquarters! The news shocked all the islands as no one knew how that had been possible, let alone pulled off in such a short time.
While some had executed the purchase of land to at least point out the location, oddly no one knew where it was. The Hellfire Sect, Heavenly Maiden Sect, and Divine Sword Sect had all requested the information but it was denied.
Some wondered if it was the small island of Yinande but that was adamantly disproven by simple investigation. There were signs he had been there and also signs of strange activities at East End.
The ramshackle city had been removed from its place on the island. The Circle was also gone but information had been relayed that they would set up a new location. It was also rumors regarding Yinande that started it all for many.
Supposedly, the Heavens had acted quite strangely but as usual, no one could pierce that secret.
With the fall of the Syndicate, someone took over but it was argued if it was the Maidens or another power. Likely, Yinande would fall to several organizations but it was not really of interest to anyone.
With the Circle gone, it was just a resource light island.
During all the chaos, no one noticed the moves of a small group of women. They were all tiers 3 to 6 so few would oppose them. They had no markings or fine robes to draw eyes either but any glimpse of their features could have drawn too much attention if not for the various mass of moving people.
The fallout of the supreme powers' moves had dislodged many people that had to leave cities, towns, or even sect locations as they were wiped out or found to be full of dangerous creatures.
The last few months had been straining for the teleportation array network but profits had never been higher. It also led to a little loosening of examination of those going directions less people intensive.
Thus the group quickly appeared on Yinande without issue.
"I don't like this island." A woman with platinum hair that seemed to sparkle with various colors frowned but the others only smiled as she had been a bit grouchy for the last few decades.
"According to the message, we are to head east but there is nothing there anymore. Hopefully, things are ok." A gentle voice came from another hooded woman. The others nodded as they took to the skies.
What had once been a nest of vipers was now more of a refugee wasteland. The hierarchy had been shattered with the fall of the Tidao Syndicate. It had been so thorough that no one powerful enough was left to rebuild it.
The women knew more of why the Heavenly Maiden Sect was so complete compared to other assaults launched since then but it did not change the reality.
The six of them noted the various dilapidated streets full of lost people but they had no solutions. There were thousands of people on that single island and those that could leave, had.
While some were coming to see what could be found, the lack of resources made it very unlikely Yinande would be more than a haven for some organization that wanted to control some man power. It would take centuries for everything to settle as no doubt more than one power would try to fight over it for whatever reasons they could invent.
The farther east they moved, the less towns and villages they met. There were signs of tragedies but they were long cold with only ruins left behind. One of the women paused at the last village. Her eyes narrowed as unlike all the others, it was perfectly intact but empty.
She examined the grounds but there were too many traces to pick out what she wanted. The prismatic haired one, however, finally smiled.
"We are close!" All 6 nodded and resumed their flight until they came to where East End once stood. The city was there but falling apart. Like the last village, there was no sign of violence but it was completely abandoned.
They all landed and looked around but no one came out.
"Are we at the right place?" The oldest of them was using her senses but nothing called out to her. A demoness loosened her short swords in case she needed them but no danger was felt.
"He said you would be arriving tomorrow, were we anxious?" An older woman's voice filled the air. She sounded amused but none of them were. A small black shelled tortoise appeared in front of them.
All 6 women could swear it was smirking at them.
Suddenly, one of the women transformed into a sinuous prismatic dragon. Ethry looked enraged at the tiny creature while the latter simply looked bemused at her reaction.
"Little dragon, are you that frustrated that your mate is with me? He spoke highly of you and all of you as well. Surely, you would not disappoint him?" Ethry's silver eyes had extreme conflict as her desire to assert dominance over the tortoise warred with her desire to see Lind.
He was so close but she could not quite find him! After so many years, she wanted to see him again!
"Let me see him now!" Her voice barely restrained from a roar but the tortoise just stared back at her in silence. The tension built until Cyntilla stepped forward.
"Ethry, I suspect most humans would be alarmed to have a full fledged dragon come to their village. Turn back." Ethry looked hurt but slowly shrunk until she was human once more. She adjusted her robes while looking put out.
"You must be Cyntilla. He spoke very highly of you. I see he was not exaggerating." Cyntilla merely bowed but her vivid green eyes were just as anxious as the rest. It had been far too long since they last were with Lind.
"Senior, I am Lysanna, may I know your name?" The tortoise looked at the young girl in front of her but smiled in response clearly that time.
"I have no name as you understand, I am the Divine Guardian." The moment those words were spoken, Ethry grasped her head in pain before her eyes went wide in shock. She now looked sheepish.
"I, um, apologize to the Great Elder." Surprise crossed the tortoise's face. The small beast was very expressive.
"So, you are a Divine dragon. Your parents must have been very strong with their bloodline." Ethry blushed but the others were confused. "It is a deep complement between us."
All nodded but then turned to the tortoise in expectation. She never once seemed to indicate they could see Lind. Finally, the air distorted behind her as a man with dark green eyes and crimson robes emerged.
His skin was darker than the last time they saw him but his smile made all their hearts skip a beat.
"I am gla–" He did not even get a word out when he was bowled over by Ethry and Shoti! The other 4 sighed but moved closer as well. The 3 laying on the ground were comical as Lind finally seemed to give in and just hugged them back.
They could feel he was nearing the peak of tier 3 of the Sky Realm. He had come far and faster once he broke through to the Sky Realm. Only Lysanna was slightly ahead of him as she neared her breakthrough to the 4th tier any day.
"Shoti, you are a grown woman." Qing pulled back her hood and her blonde hair seemed to glow in the sunlight that got through to Yinande.
Shoti stuck out her tongue and snuggled against Lind only as much as Ethry would allow. The dragon was far stronger at the peak of tier 6 compared to all of them. Her speed was unreal.
"Husband, you have been neglectful, so you must pay the price." Cyntilla smirked as Lind actually cried openly. He had been apart from them just as long. His harrowing experiences made him wonder if he would ever see them again but at last, he felt at home.
"B-big Sisters!" A voice broke the moment as all saw Little Fey emerge as well. She was shocked then joy crossed her face but before anyone else could move, Qing was in front of her. Annabelle was quickly behind as they pulled her to them.
"You will be sitting with me later but from what I can tell, you are far from danger." Fey nodded but relief came over Lind's face. Annabelle patted Fey's head and was sad at the white in her hair.
"Everything is ready?" Lind's question reminded them they had little time to dawdle. They would have all the time later to catch up and the tortoise was still there looking highly amused!
"It has been ready a long time ago but we took precautions given how you seem to have a gift for making strong enemies up here." Cyntilla looked sternly at Lind as he swallowed his saliva.
He looked a little sheepish but she then kissed him!
"Only my husband can be so brash and not back down! The Babylon Guild finalized everything with us. Those twins were practically worshiping Annabelle by the way." The sapphire and gold woman blushed deeply as Cyntilla shared the story.
Lind was glad then turned to the Divine Guardian.
"With your permission, Senior?" The tortoise nodded before looking at the forest to the north. The air shimmered before a vast village was exposed! Children were pointing and laughing at Lind and it was clear the antics had been clear to them.
All 6 women blushed but still hovered around Lind.
"It has been an honor to meet you Lind Frey and I thank you for honoring my request. I need the destination please." Lind turned to his wives who looked confused but Annabelle handed over a jade slip.
"This is our new location. Will Senior be visiting us?" The tortoise looked amused at the question but shook her head.
"I am unable to leave this place without endangering many living beings. Still, move to the others as I can reach there easily." Ethry suddenly paled as she seemed to understand something but Lind pulled her and the others back to the villagers.
It was clear they viewed Lind as a leader despite several tier 4 Sky Realms among them. They shook their heads at his usual skill to pull people to him. How would they transport all these people?
A sudden pressure filled the air far beyond the Sky Realm and all the women understood the aether beast they had spoken to was but a projection!
"I wish you well, Moebius Sect. I hope we can meet again under happier circumstances." The black shelled tortoise vanished as all the people in the village disappeared into thin air.
The Star Tier extended her vision far to the west and elevated to a massive island. It was a vast stretch of jungles, forests, and mountains. There were no human habitations there, at least there had not been.
Deep inside a jungle with a vibrant azure lake at its heart, a new massive structure had been built. It was not as large as one in the lower world but that would change with time.
The Moebius Sect had been established on Wild Heart Isle. The home of several Heaven Realm aether beasts and they all felt the massive teleportation but they could not trace the origin.
The Divine Guardian felt very tired after the exertion but the teleportation was complete. She went to sleep with a smile and looked forward to the changes the next time she awoke.
