Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 1720 - 1719 - Origin Seeds

Chapter 1720 - 1719 - Origin Seeds

Lind felt like he had returned to his youth. There were no power mad conspirators, impossibly powerful beasts, or Fiends at his throat.

As he relaxed and unwound, he felt stress fall off of him and his Mysteries actually improved without him doing anything actively. There was no critical issue, but it was clear his sprinting had been catching up to him.

When the stress reduced, he actually fell asleep! A Divine Realm was almost inexhaustible but now he slept!

It also freed him up to actually delve into a Mystery he had actually looked forward to! He had started his journey by investigating his Soul Cores and how to temper them safely in lockstep with his harmony.

Now, thousands upon thousands of years later, he finally had time to study his Origin Nodes.

The Qi Mystery layer was clearly affecting them but the reverse was also true. He had confirmed with Karu that usually, the Qi layer was dedicated by the race.

Natural Qi cultivators only had those 6 colors, demonic theirs, and Celestial/Fiend theirs. The Mysteries condense followed in the same vein but he was unique. He had all 18!

Further, he felt like his nodes were now coming into their own. He had been slowly catching up to them and able to tap more deeply into them as he progressed in his cultivation but now he could actually feel how far he had come with his new Mystery.

The energy allowed his senses to fully grasp the power of the Origin Nodes and it was staggering.

Even as a high Journeyman Tier, he had only tapped into a third of what the Nodes could do! Further, he felt like part of the problem was he was not combining the elemental Qi with the Mysteries he had condensed.

He had assumed using them in his Arts and skills was enough but he had to infuse them into the Nodes themselves!

He actually smiled as he explored the capabilities of his foundation. The old days of constant research and making Wyndam create Arts for 6 elementals. That near century he had been recovering in the original Moebius Sect had been the best time of his life.

"You have not looked like that in a long time, Beloved." Lind looked up to see Qing and Karu looking at him. The former was smiling gently while the other looked nervous. He sighed but they had a very long talk after she essentially confessed to him.

The loss of her Talent was confirmed by him but now her foundation had grown more profound! Her power was nearly on par with a Divine Dragon!

"I feel like I am back in the Moebius Sect when we were learning all 6 elementals could really do." His words made Qing smile sadly at him before she kissed his cheek. Karu looked uncomfortable but he sighed as he set aside his research.

He had reached the limit anyway.

The trio emerged into the larger palace hallways. The place was relaxing but it was very empty. Why such a massive structure but only Divine Lords and close ones could enter. Aristrossa had failed to bring anyone inside as of yet, but both Karu and Qing could follow him.

He still could not pierce the secrets of the Jade Palace of the Stars. The fact he had not a single clue only excited him! It meant that it had to be related to Mystery Tier power!

He was a Divine Lord like the creator so if he could not replicate it with his Divine Authority, that meant it was not connected to it at all!

The special realm, however, was a more advanced version of ones he had attempted in the past.

His own Emerald Haven was only superior due to its mobility. The space was not folded nor carved out either yet he could grasp the basic foundation of how it was done.

He could improve his Haven space in the future based on those insights alone.

As they were moving, Lind smelled something familiar and smiled as he followed it to an open garden. The bright sunlight bathing the massive space made it a serene park only lacking people with pets or children playing.

There were trees and bushes glowing with actual power but Lind ignored them all as he found a massive plant at the center of the garden. It looked like several trees blended together with various green leaves providing shade as they strained to absorb the light.

The center also had a crystal clear azure moat around it that flowed under the surface into and out of it. He looked down but there were no fish or other life inside.

Yet he smiled as he cupped his hands and bowed low to the plant in front of them. Both women were confused before gentle laughter came from it!

The creak of wood filled the air as the massive plant became a giant person! Perfectly tanned skin with a simple wrap covered her body before she began to shrink to their size. The sound of wood creaking came until she finally stopped.

Her dark hair was streaked with the green of the leaves but looked like real hair. Unlike any others, the dryad before them looked perfectly human.

"Senior, I am called Lind Frey. This is a wonderful place." The woman smiled and her ochre eyes sparkled as she took them in.

"I knew a new Divine Lord had ascended but she brought an interesting friend! I can hear the song of my Daos and Mysteries when I look at you." Lind was only slightly confused until he realized what it had to be.

With a thought, his harmony blazed and she smiled even wider.

The emerald light flew out in traces to be absorbed by all the plants and the dryad herself! Lind had never seen such a reaction but the level of power was familiar.

"Master Tier–" Karu mumbled it but the woman heard her easily enough as she nodded.

"It is good to see your kind again. I was sad when all the tribes were enslaved or vanished." She was aware of the outside world? Lind wondered how that worked but dared not pry.

"Husband, her aura–" Qing was entranced. He had never seen her that way before. Her face was flush with an excitement he had only ever seen a handful of times outside of their closest moments.

He looked at the dryad but even she was confused. He was about to ask when Qing suddenly assumed a lotus position. They all became silent as a familiar flow of power came over her.

She was grasping a Mystery! Whichever one it was, it seemed far more potent than any previous one as he felt her previous layers were being refined at the same time! The only reason he had done that was when he realized all the layers in a tier were connected.

Was she going to achieve a massive leap in power?

As the time stretched out, it became clear Qing would need more time. The remaining 3 moved away to give her space.

"Impressive mate you have there, Dragon Frey. She walks a path I am unfamiliar with but find quite pleasant." Lind smiled as the soil moved and a stone table appeared with chairs.

The dryad served a tea that looked rose colored and just the scent seemed to invigorate his body. Karu was stunned as she saw it.

"Rosegate tea?!" Lind froze. That was a Mystery Grade tea! It was nearly a legend as no one knew how it was made or where it came from! It was very beneficial for Divine Realm cultivators!

"Ha ha ha! I see my younger sisters continue to make our treasure tea." The pair stared at her. Lind was about to try and get some insights when his harmony flared.

The tea interacted and his mind cleared! Elemental power flowed around him like a storm but caused no harm.

His Nodes were resonating as he understood he had missed a factor! He had combined all 3 varieties of elements together but he had not bound them together as his harmony had once done with all his natural elements.

It was a bridge, but still only connected to the original 6. His struggles to grasp their power came from that fact and the tea made it glaring to him. It stripped away the chaotic nature of the energies in his dantian and settled them nicely.

He was actually more powerful than before!

His nodes were also changing. He could feel it. The connection to his harmony was spreading and transforming them. The previously inscrutable power was now becoming clear.

Origin. He was grasping the true Origin elements! The Nodes gave him access to them as he conjured them to be part of his Arts or skills, but now they became tiny seeds! The fire was richer than any version he had ever encountered. Water deeper than any ocean and full of life! Air sliced finer than any blade or could bring comfort. Earth as solid as any weapon ever made yet allows a sprout to break through.

The 4 primary elements then traced out connections to the last 2. Light blazed to blind or illuminate no matter how dark. Darkness swallowed it all inside and let nothing escape but brought peace to a turbulent mind.

The once massive nodes now smoothly integrated into his dantian's surface. The Mysteries inside became even more profound?! His eyes shot wide as he found himself floating in a sphere of elemental power.

It was made up of all 6 Origin elements but unlike any previous time, he felt no strain at all! He felt like it was as easy as breathing!

He concentrated and the sphere melted away but the power was still there at his fingertips.

"Well, that was surprising. I have never seen my tea have that effect." The dryad was calmly sipping at her jade cup but Karu was clearly unconscious! What happened?!
