Chapter 1563 - 1562 - The Divine Realm

Chapter 1563 - 1562 - The Divine Realm

Trapped on the island for the moment, Haro began to answer his questions.

To summarize his path forward, it was far more difficult and also frustratingly not direct either!

The Divine Realm was split into 3 tiers. The Apprentice Tier, Journeyman Tier, and Master Tier.

He really wanted to know who named those tiers! Was it an electrician or plumber?!

He pushed that aside as he was unlikely to know but Dao was now his elemental Nodes source of refinement. Unlike Laws that had been like the girders to hold up his new foundation in the Immortal Realm, they were now his direct power!

No wonder Divine Realms were so damn powerful. They could shatter the Celestial Fields with a sneeze if they could even descend for a moment!

The hard part came after that.

Each tier had 3 layers, reflecting his new dantian change. Each layer also had 3 separate pieces called Mysteries he had to also use his Dao to create and condense.

Apprentice Tier was Life, Death, and Samsara Mysteries. Journeyman Tier was Heaven, Earth, and Qi Mysteries. That last one made him curious in several ways but the last tier was one of the headaches.

The Master Tier was relatively easy to reach but to advance was actually impossible to teach or leave guides behind like in an Inheritance for others to find.

Every cultivator supposedly knew what they had to figure out but it was unique to them. Lind suddenly understood what his future self had been trying to indicate while staying inside the restrictions.

If the final tier was dictated by the path the cultivator followed, any change before the Divine Realm would alter what kind of Divine being he would become!

He asked what exactly Mysteries were and Haro began to use the strange energy again.

"No Divine Realm is equal to another, Master. Artifacts, weapons, and other external aides can be a massive advantage in this realm unlike the previous ones where your harmony was effectively a cheat." Lind could not deny that part at all.

Still, he wondered if his Harmonic Art would still give him an advantage.

"You have begun to delve into your Daos which will empower your Nodes to grow with you but they will also be applied to condense a facet of say Life you have come to treat as a core value. This creates a new energy you can absorb from the surroundings." Lind began to understand.

They were not called Mysteries because it was just a naming scheme but because no one knew what kind of facet each person would condense!

"For example, as a Divine True Lord Ring Spirit, I was built with the Mystery of Life Fate and Heaven Birth." The names confused Lind once more and gave him nothing. He had Haro repeat it and noticed an oddity.

His lips were moving but the sound he was hearing did not match! When he asked, Haro smiled sadly at him.

"It is what you can understand from my creator's Mysteries, Master. If you shared the same Mystery, which is not impossible, you would hear the actual name and not the pieces you can grasp." A headache formed in his head.

It was like being handed a puzzle where the pieces shifted on the person putting them together and the picture was hidden from him! Just when things might come together, he found more road blocks!

If it ended there, he might be able to happily move forward, but nothing was that easy.

He also had to improve all his Arts, skills, and other abilities to incorporate the various Mysteries he added to his dantian.

In the case of elixirs or weaving, he did not see many issues since those had always been personal creations, but Forging presented a massive headache to him just thinking about it.

Haro assured him it would make sense once he created his first Mystery.

Even so, it answered his previous guess about the effectiveness of his Art of Defiance.

He tried summoning it and both men jumped as it worked! It felt vastly different compared to before. However, he could barely control it!

The power nearly ran rampant before he dismissed it.

Lind collapsed in exhaustion from just a few seconds of using his Harmonic Art!

"That, Master, is what you have to do for the rest of your abilities. Incidentally, grading has 3 levels in the Divine Realm. Dao Grade, you have already touched on, so grade 8 will be no challenge at all. In both cases, you should understand what they are missing. Mystery Grade is the true pinnacle of creation." Haro then bowed low to him. "I am a mid Mystery Grade item, Master."

That revelation made Lind nearly choke on his own air! Haro, with all his power, was ONLY mid Mystery Grade! That meant there were 2 more steps above him! Just what insane power difference did that entail?!

Haro, just as a spirit, had been beyond belief but Lind realized his ring had survived things nothing else could. His robes were always destroyed no matter how powerful he made them in each tribulation he faced.

He examined his ring in his prone state and the space inside seemed limitless now. It had always been massive, but he had been able to clearly determine the limits he could use. None existed now.

Each time he advanced a major realm had led to the revelation of resources left behind by his predecessors but oddly, only 1 thing was revealed now.

It was a very old book! He summoned the tome and felt the world shift the instant it arrived. Haro became grim as he saw the tattered leather cover lined in silver etchings. Its pages were yellowed but Lind knew on instinct he was looking at one of those Mystery Grade items.

How old was it that it had faded to such an extent?!

Haro had already told him that even if he did not advance one layer in his dantian at all, he would easily live billions of years.

He also confirmed the imbalance of Qi was due to the complete lack of natural resources on the island.

Natural Qi had its name for a reason. Celestial Qi was essentially extinct in the Divine Lands from what Haro knew but that may have changed due to Lind's actions in his life. However, now that he knew there were many Celestial Fields, he wondered how much of an impact that would have.

The book creaked open and he began to try to read. Emphasis on try. The language was not one he recognized nor was it easy. His head throbbed when he tried, which told him it was highly restricted.

Yet, Haro did not warn him to stop. He then used his Authority only to feel a pain hit him. What was that? Still, the book resonated with his attempts and the words shifted on the page until he could read it!

"Master, do not use your Authority anymore. You are still a True Lord but only the lower worlds recognize you. This one has yet to do so." That made some sense but he focused on the pages in front of him.

He expected something to help guide him forming his first Mystery or anything related to his cultivation but instead he felt shocked by what he did find.

{True Lord of the Beast Race, if you are reading this passage, you have reached the Divine Lands. Your status has not changed but your Authority has far less power here. Be warned, acting wantonly can lead to being crippled.}

It went on from there but Lind just felt more surprised as he kept reading. Whoever made the rings long ago had also included the manual to be tied to each one if that True Lord succeeded in reaching the Divine Lands.

Questions abounded as to why the rings were made but he did not doubt they were helpful but unnecessary to his survival in the Celestial Fields.

It confirmed what Haro had told him too. If he was acknowledged by the Divine Lands for any reason, his ability to enforce his Authority would improve drastically but the level was unknown.

He wondered how in the world he was supposed to do that anyway but the book held no such answers. He was almost done when a final warning came at the end.

{If a True Lord is acknowledged or born in the Divine Lands, know that you will be called for the Testing when it is time. You will either be stripped of your Authority at that point or become a Divine Lord. If the latter happens, you will need to take responsibility and ensure the Divine Lands are protected from inner and outer threats.}

Lind sighed but then turned to Haro.

"What if I called, but I was unable to get there?" Haro was silent for a long time before he shrugged.

"If it was a matter of you being able to go and choosing not to, you would simply lose your place as a True Lord. Your current circumstances, however, are not in my memory. It is not to say it did not happen but only 3 of my previous wielders ever made it to the Divine Lands and all 3 chose to abandon being a True Lord." Lind knew at that point the ring would be recalled from his own experience.

The Divine Realm had so much work to go into it and he had nothing but time. Mysteries did not require Qi in its basic form, the Daos would work inside him just fine.

Thus he began to meditate and understand what he could do for the moment to move forward.
