Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 1136 - 1135 - True Lord Judgement

Chapter 1136 - 1135 - True Lord Judgement

The palace was in an uproar but the King quickly had his servants send out a message it was only their guest talking to the Beast Lords.

The 5 beast lords quickly moved as if their bodies were not theirs to command. It was only when they came to a place they had been told to avoid they confirmed that voice was the True Lord!

All 5 prideful beings were like children as they were made to kneel in front of the entrance to a large courtyard where anyone could see. Their anger or confusion vanished as the flare of emerald hair caught their eye.

He was now in black robes with 3 badges on his right breast. His aura was also a little below the peak of high Crystal Tier yet they felt tiny at that moment. His rage was not wild or out of control, it was focused directly on them.

Two of the beast lords in particular felt their bodies tremble in terror.

Lord Kin and Lady Hectate were distantly related to dragons but at that moment it felt like they were defying a God!

Lord Ran and the 2 roc sisters strangely felt like all their ancestors were condemning them.

Lind did not care one whit about their thoughts at that moment as he calmed himself. He knew he had been harsh in the description but he had confirmed what was going on.

"You use the royal bloodline to repair the damage to your foundations. You realized taking their primal essence could extend your lives. Did none of you stop to think why only 1 human family had such an effect?" His words were cold but he was dealing with Immortals.

When the Corruption first swept the land, Lind had no doubt they desperately looked for answers and the humans simply wanted to strengthen their ties. It was likely an accident.

Once discovered, however, they hoped to have the solution to both protecting the young and Immortals at the same time but life is hardly that easy. The result was from the unification of auras cultivators did by instinct at that moment.

It also was strongest the first time since it was usually the most intense for new partners. Sadly, the effect was not continuous. An existing partner was not enough and worse, the protection the royal once enjoyed was stripped away!

Lind understood it better than most because of the half melded harmony but none of the Immortals there dared to find a better solution. He knew it was partially because they did not understand but even an idiot should have pieced it together.

"True Lord, we simply are doing what–" Lind's aura slammed onto Lord Kin like a megaton hammer. The slim man was slammed into the stone so hard it shattered.

"How many died for you?! How many lost their cultivation because you took all of their aura for yourselves?! Tell me?!" Lord Ran paled but the sisters looked confused as they glanced at their fellow Lords.

Lady Hectate looked solemn before she answered.

"I brought them home when I understood the danger they faced. They lived full mortal lives here." She did not hide the truth. Once the royals shared their auras, they lost the crimson color to their hair and eyes. It was like something was ripped from them in the process.

Lind's aura flared once more.

"Did none of you consider why such a strange reaction would occur? Did none of you even try?!" The 2 sisters were shocked so it was clear they were not in on the event. He released them which surprised the other 3.

"Dragon True Lord, are you saying our Father also did this?" Lind looked at the others and saw them slowly nod. The sisters paled in shock but then the silver robed one paled.

"The humans we saw protected in the eyrie! We wondered who they were and why father said to leave them in peace!" Her sister mirrored comprehension but it seemed clear they were left in the dark.

"Lord Scar did not want his daughters to suffer the burden of the knowledge and to discontinue the practice. We honored his request." Lord Ran finally spoke humbly. Lind felt his anger fade a bit.

"You all failed in so many ways as Immortals. You knew something was possible but never wondered why the humans lost it and could not gain it back? You ripped it from them because of the damage to your foundations! You caused the imbalance and your bodies desperately wanted it back!" It was simple instinct.

A body would heal after an injury just as a foundation would consolidate after breaking through. Cultivators were not gods. They were living flesh and blood that wanted to endure. The harmonic energy could restore that damaged foundation!

Their superior cultivation could not be denied by Heaven Realms. The joining of auras was turned into a sacrificial act!

"The source of that energy is right there!" His arm swept up the incline of the volcano and all 5 Immortals looked that way. The twins slowly nodded but the other 3 became pale. "If you wanted to repair the damage, did none of you think to simply ask to cultivate in its presence! You could not exhaust that crystal even if all of you tried at once!"

It was true. The Crimson Harmony Law Crystal had surpassed what a single Immortal could consume. It permeated the entire land and thus even the beasts in front of him had an ember of that energy in their foundations.

It was why their foundation recognized a pure source of it and in the damaged state, sucked the human dry! On the flip side, the humans lost their cultivation with no way to stop it!

Lind could excuse the first time as it was no doubt an accidental discovery, but every action after that was on their heads! He also realized something else at that moment and his arm vanished in midair.

Space was ripped apart even though the formations should prevent it! They were still flawed and thus he could not be stopped!

A figure was dropped on his knees in front of Lind. It was the former king!

The old man looked around shocked but none were more stunned than the Immortal beasts! Lind could tear through space!

"You knew?" Lind did not explain but the former king swallowed and slowly nodded.

"It was a solution in those dark times to not only keep up the power of our new allies but also ensure their numbers would be stable. We tried to restore–" A slap sent the old man flying into the stone wall of the courtyard.

The crack of bone was clear but his life was not in danger.

"ENOUGH!" Lind knew they were not trying to be vile but they still treated Heaven Realms like chattel. He also knew that meant the very rules he had been taught were violated. "How many children did you have?"

The former king slowly got up but finally looked guilty.

"I had enough." An aura finally swept the area that brought everyone to their knees. The Heavens actually brought pressure as well! A True Lord had been angered!

Emerald flames engulfed the 5 beast lords who felt shocked! Their foundation was being repaired! What a single human coupling could only ease, was fully restored in an instant!

It did not stop there as his emerald eyes looked at them.

[By my authority, the independent beast clans under you are now mine. They will obey my orders without question until the 3 of you die. The roc clan will earn their freedom when I deem it acceptable as the one I want it gone.] The 5 of them felt their souls compress and Heaven pressed on them until it was over.

Lind then turned to look up at the volcano. He frowned before shaking his head.

"Too weak yet." He held up his left arm as a complex set of sigils and materials flowed like a river out of his storage rings. They saw a corresponding crimson glow from the mountain top suddenly!

All the Immortals in the fallen lands felt their foundations suddenly steady and strengthen. Only the 6 in front of Lind knew why as the weaving leapt outwards like a fine dome of emerald and crimson energy.

Of them all, only Lady Hectate seemed to grasp something critical as she stared at Lind in shock. The same energy! He had the same energy!

"Go!" His command sent a wave of energy to the very edge of the fallen lands. It was only at that moment a dark shadow appeared behind him. A bestail his left the woman's mouth and made the once unstoppable Lind flinch.

The Heavens retracted and the powerful aura was gone. In its place was a meek man looking very guilty. The dark tail was not swaying happily as they had seen normally and her ears were perched like he was a threat.

"Chu–" Another slap was heard as Lind was now the one flying! He slammed THROUGH the stone wall like it was wooden sticks!

A tiger roar followed by her chasing after him. The punishment was clearly over for them but just starting for Lind!

A young girl then came from behind them with her pale skin and dark gold eyes looking frustrated.

"Papa was bad." The 3 words broke the final spell holding them there. Lord Ran actually got up and ran away! Lord Kin was not far behind him. The former king looked in the direction the couple had gone and seemed to also decide it was better to run for the moment.

"Lady Chu is formidable." Lady Hectate spoke but Jur laughed.

"Papa is far stronger but he promised not to push himself. He broke the promise so he has to pay!" The young girl was usually a warm and free spirit but at that moment, the 3 women backed up. She then ran off after her 'Papa' and the 3 Immortals actually felt pity for the True Lord.

They left with many questions but not one of them dared to interfere. They were not tired of living after all!
