Gu Tiantian buried her head in her books, unaware of Zhang Lan’s thoughts.
In fact, she even forgot to remind Bai Chenyao to come back early before lunch.
According to the usual schedule, her last class in the afternoon ends exactly at 5:30.
Since all her attention was on the books, Gu Tiantian didn’t notice the commotion in the living room outside.
But Zhang Lan, already having ulterior motives, became alert the moment she heard noises outside.

"A Yao, you’re back?"
Seeing Bai Chenyao, who had returned at some point, Gu Tiantian was slightly surprised.

"A Yao, I’m still in class, almost done."
"Class is dismissed!"
Bai Chenyao’s voice was deep and commanding, allowing no refusal.

Previously a bit flustered, but once out of the study and into the bedroom on the second floor, Gu Tiantian’s tense nerves relaxed.
"Did you really come back early?"
Without waiting for Bai Chenyao to speak, Gu Tiantian quickly added.
"A Yao, although you’re the boss and can be very lax with arriving late and leaving early, wouldn’t doing this often be bad?"
"Uh... I mean regarding the company’s interests."
After speaking, Gu Tiantian blinked her big, dark eyes, looking very worriedly at Bai Chenyao.
It seemed she was genuinely concerned that Bai Chenyao, being such a big BOSS, leaving early might impact the company’s operations and cause losses.
