Chapter 15
Chapter 15
Alexander let out a sigh of relief as he settled into his bed, eager for some peace and quiet. But just as he closed his eyes, his phone began buzzing.
Groaning, he reached for it, and upon seeing the caller ID, answered groggily.
"Yes?" he mumbled, but there was no response.
Annoyed, he snapped, "What is it?" and rubbed his eyes, trying to shake off the drowsiness.
"Sir, Mr. Carson is here to see you," informed one of his employees through the speakerphone.
He quickly sat up straight and replied with more urgency than intended, "Keep him entertained, I'll be down in five." He ended the call, determined to meet with Mr. Carson.
Sighing deeply, he placed his phone back onto the nightstand. He massaged his face with his hands before rising from the bed. After swiftly changing into fresh clothes, he made his way downstairs to meet his guest.

"I didn't expect you to arrive so soon," Alexander said with a smirk as he laid eyes on the young man sitting on the couch in his living room, holding a glass of red liquid.
"Mr. Cena," the young man said, his voice slightly faltering upon seeing Alexander, but he quickly regained his composure.
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you in person," he said with a small smile, putting down his glass of wine and standing up to show respect.
Alexander raised an eyebrow and smiled slightly at the young man's greeting.
Instead of responding, he simply nodded and took a seat across from him. "Please, make yourself comfortable," he said, gesturing to the couch.
The young man nodded, returning to his seat, but kept his gaze fixed on Alexander, as if studying his every move.
Alexander noticed the man's disheveled appearance; his tousled hair, wrinkled clothes and the way his hands were clasped together in front of his lap, indicating his nervousness.
After a few uncomfortable moments of silence, Alexander decided to break the ice by clearing his throat and speaking in an even tone. "So, Mr. Carson," he began,
"I don't want to waste any more time. I assume you know why I've invited you here." His tone was friendly but serious.
The man looked uneasy and hesitated for a moment before nodding, taking a sip of his drink and placing it down carefully.
"Umm...I...I believe so, sir," the man stuttered out, shifting nervously in his seat.
Alexander nodded before continuing.
"I'm sure you've heard about the recent news regarding my incident with Miss Kings at the hotel where you work as a CCTV operator," Alexander said, keeping his tone calm and level.
The young man hesitated, then whispered a quiet, "Yes." He lifted his chin, trying to appear brave but failing. Alexander noticed this but decided to let the man maintain his composure.
"Mr. Carson, I have information that you were on duty the night of the incident at the hotel and I would like to know what happened to the CCTV footage,"
Alexander said, crossing his arms and leaning forward. His words were spoken calmly yet assertively, and the young man felt a sense of unease.
He hesitated and shifted in his chair, before saying softly, "I can give you the truth about it, if that's what you want."
Alexander nodded curtly and gestured for him to continue, "Please, go on."
The man swallowed nervously, but once again lifted his chin, looking directly into Alexander's eyes.
He took a deep breath and began. "Okay, well... that night the cameras suddenly went off, and...and then I went out to...," he paused, searching for the right words.
Alexander interrupted him,
"Please, Mr. Carson, I don't expect you to give me excuses. I want the truth, that's why I asked you here." he stated coldly, his voice tinged with frustration.
The young man blinked, looking away before taking another deep breath and meeting Alexander's gaze again.
"Alright...I'll tell you." He said in a hushed whisper, steeling himself as he prepared to reveal the whole truth.

"I apologize for the short notice, Miss Kings," Alexander said, offering Camilla a friendly smile as she sat across from him on the leather sofa.
"If you've called me here to try and convince me to drop the lawsuit, you're wasting your time," Camilla said with clear annoyance, placing her purse on the table in front of her.
Alexander sighed and ran his hand through his dark brown hair, "Listen, Camilla,"
"Miss Kings," she corrected him sharply, narrowing her eyes.
"Miss Kings," Alexander conceded.
"I want you to know that what happened between us at Houston Grande Hotel that night was not my doing, and I understand that you may not believe me.
But I want to assure you that I would never sexually abuse any woman," Alexander said, his blue eyes boring into hers as he leaned forward.
Camilla stared at him for a few moments before letting out a laugh, "Do you think I'm an idiot?" She raised an eyebrow, and Alexander sighed tiredly.
"What can I do to make you believe me?" He asked, defeatedly slouching into the sofa.
Camilla gave him a skeptical look before saying, "Even if I wanted to believe that what happened was just because we were both drunk, as you said, what happens to the way the public now sees me?" She questioned, tilting her head slightly, waiting for his response.
"I can handle that," He responded confidently.
"How?" She asked, still skeptical.
Alexander thought for a moment, then stood up and walked to the window, staring out as he tried to come up with a plan of action.
After a moment, he turned back to Camilla and said, "How about we make a public announcement that we were already in a relationship before the incident happened?"
