Dual Cultivation Simulator

Chapter 177: Conquering the Second Simulation Part 6

Chapter 177: Conquering the Second Simulation Part 6

"A wise man once said, 'Do not take cultivation world rules lightly, or you will lose everything'."

Next to a small river, a young man was lying on his deathbed. He had a hole in his stomach, and the blood had colored his white shirt.

He was looking at the sky and muttering.

"The wise man also said, 'Luck is a bitch. The more you try to get it, the more difficult it becomes'."

This young man was Ken Grant.

He was a transmigrated person.

He appeared in the body of this young man at the age of ten.

When he learned about this world, he excitedly became a cultivator, not understanding how difficult it was gonna be.

At the age of fourteen, he joined a revered sect. But in just two years, he seemingly understood what sect truly was.

He had a misunderstanding about sects. They weren't public service organizations.

They were always profit-seeking organizations. To become a part of the sect, his family had to pay one hundred thousand gold coins every year.

To get anything in the sect, he had to pay extra.

He couldn't even use normal money inside the sect, as they had their own currency in the form of points.

Credit Points!

For two years, Ken worked really hard, doing several odd missions and earning enough Credit Points to buy a proper cultivation technique.

After joining the sect, it provided him with a Body Tempering Technique that was only used in the Body Tempering Realm.

To reach the next realm, one needed a proper Qi Absorbing Technique.

Unfortunately, they wouldn't give it to others easily. So, when he had saved enough credit, he was excited to buy a technique.

He forgot the main rule of the cultivation world.

Here, strength mattered above anything else.

Rules? They were flushed down the toilet by strong people.

Because in their eyes, they existed for rules to exist. They made the rules, and they could break them at any moment.

So, before he could even get to the Scripture Hall with those points, he was stopped by three of his Senior Brothers.

These people wanted his credit points. They were waiting for him to save enough.

Unfortunately, he didn't see that.

He was beaten.

Even though he could fight them individually, he wasn't stronger than three of them combined.

So, he got his shit beaten out.

But just before he got his credits stolen, he made a serious choice.

He destroyed the Sect's Identity Token.

It was the item that stored his credit points, but it was also the token for his identity.

Those three were stunned, unable to comprehend what he had just done.

By doing this, he would be kicked out of the sect, no doubt.

More importantly, he would face severe punishment.

No matter how much he tried to explain, he didn't get mercy.

They couldn't destroy his cultivation since he was only at the Body Tempering Realm.

But his Dantian was destroyed, and he was kicked out of the sect.

From then on, he didn't know what should do. His parents paid for everything. Their business took a serious hit when he joined the sect.

Even so, they did it without any hesitation.

But his decision to destroy the Identity token put him in this situation.

He was angry at those three guys. He was angry at the sect that decided to abandon him.

He was angry at the sect elder who destroyed his cultivation.

"Unfortunately, anger doesn't help you."

Ken muttered.

Two lines of tears fell from his cheek.

He regretted destroying his identity. He regretted dreaming of becoming a cultivator. He regretted putting his parents in difficult situations.

He regretted every decision he made.

If he had just stayed with his parents, continuing his father's business, wouldn't he have thrived?

Why did he have to become a cultivator?

Fantasy! Those dreams of flying on a sword, those dreams of cultivating towards eternity, and becoming immortal.

They were all possible in this world. So, he worked hard, tried hard, and spent hard, but what did he get?

His Dantian was destroyed, making him impossible to cultivate to the next realm.

His father had moved from a normal life to a hut, his father lost his business and worked odd jobs. His mother was sick, and his little sister was just a child.

After he saw the condition of his family, tears kept flowing from his eyes. He couldn't return to his family.

After everything he made them go through, he didn't have the courage to return.

So, he decided to put everything on one last bet.

Become a Demonic Cultivator!

In this world, there were two types of cultivators.

Normal Cultivators and Demonic Cultivators!

Becoming a Demonic Cultivator, he would never get to meet his family, but he would still be able to support them silently.

As long as his family could return to normal, as long as he could hide his identity, he wouldn't have to worry, right?

That's what he thought when he tried to cross the Forest of Damnation.

It was a large forest stretching across hundreds of thousands of kilometers, and going through the middle was impossible because of the monster beasts living there.

So, the only way was from the edge.

Demonic Cultivators lived on the other side for a reason. Normal Cultivators and Demonic Cultivators couldn't stand in the same place.

If normal cultivators absorbed the energy from heaven and earth, demonic cultivators absorbed energy from living beings.

Whether it was through blood, dual cultivation, poison, or sometimes, even nature itself.

Wherever they went, they could cause nothing but destruction and death.

Ken didn't want to become a Demonic Cultivator for his family. Even at that moment, he was still a selfish person.

He wanted revenge. He wanted to kill the elder who destroyed his Dantian and killed those three people.

Being a demonic cultivator was the only way out for him since there had been many rumors about them having the ability to heal the dantian.

So, he tried going around the forest.

But he wasn't so lucky.

On the third day, he encountered a monster.

An Adult Monster Beast!

If his Body Tempering Realm was comparable to an Infant Monster, an Adult Monster Beast was comparable to a Qi Condensation Realm cultivator.

He lost miserably.

He managed to run, but with a hole through his stomach, there was no way he could survive.

So, he was waiting for his death.

"At least, I wrote that letter saying I'm dead. Mom, Dad, Alice, I have been quite a disappointment."

"I can't even fix my mistakes."

He muttered as his breath slowed down.

He could feel his body losing its color. His skin was going pale, and his eyesight was lost as well.

At his last moment, he couldn't help but keep remembering his family.

His father was a great man. He didn't cultivate, nor was he born in a rich family. He started with nothing and made a business through his hard work.

He didn't need luck or exceptional talent to do any of that. It was all hard work.

His mother was a beautiful woman. Unlike his father, she was a cultivator. She knew how hard the life of a cultivator could be.

She had her own fair share of struggles, but she always kept them to herself. He tried asking her many times, but she rarely spoke about her struggles.

Sometimes he even thought she didn't struggle, but after he joined the sect, he realized that if she hadn't struggled, then she must be a genius.

If she were a genius, she wouldn't have left her cultivation behind.

His father tried to remind him. Although not explicitly, he did talk about a few of the struggles as a cultivator.

Mainly her battles!

In his eyes, those were her struggles. In Ken's eyes, those were her heroic battles.

His little sister was born three years before he left to join the sect. So, she was only five years old.

At this moment, their faces kept flashing on his mind until he felt like his soul was leaving his body.

But his eyelids trembled.

A strong light flashed in his eyes.

At this moment, he wasn't sure what was happening, but his eyelids kept trembling until he heard a voice in his mind.

"Hahahaha! This is great. It's amazing. I thought it would take a while to reincarnate, but I didn't expect I would get a body so soon."

"Boy, go with the peace of mind. I will make good use of your body. Hahahaha! This is it."

"Whoa! Boy, you have a mysterious physique. Even I can't identify it. I can only see it. But if this continues, your physique will be crippled."

At this moment, Ken felt like opening his eyes.

But instead of real eyes, he had turned into a cloud of yellow gas. He was looking at the soul of a tall middle-aged man with a board shoulders.

The man pointed at his palm towards him and said.

"Originally, I was going to let you die on your own, but this physique is too precious. The longer you stay, the more it deteriorates."

"So, die!"

A bright blue light flashed on his palm.
