Chapter 156: Fighting a Nascent Soul Cultivator Part 3

Chapter 156: Fighting a Nascent Soul Cultivator Part 3

The sky turned dark. The clouds were so heavy that the sunlight barely reached the Sunfry Region.

At this moment, every single Nascent Soul Cultivator in the Mulan Continent was alerted.

They immediately rushed toward the battle zone. There were nine Nascent Soul Cultivators.

Some were moving faster while others were moving slowly.

Not only them, even the creatures inside the dimension rifts felt this battle. Even they refused to come out of the Dimensional.

That's also because these were mostly Gammas with only one or two Beta monsters.

If it were Alpha or even a large number of Betas, they would've invaded the Mulan Continent at this moment.

After all, not all Omegas are the same, the Omega of Handsomeness.

In the Sunfry Region, their clash had caused a hurricane and rain of such magnitude that the only place that stayed in its spot was the Ditto Family Compound.

And, there was a reason behind it.

When Tyler came here, he knew their battle would cause a lot of destruction. So, he chose to fight above the Ditto Family Compound.

Because their family compound was protected by different arrays, and there was almost no city nearby.

So, the only human civilization in that area was Ditto Compound.

Their collision created a nearly fifty-kilometer-wide crater around the Ditto Compound.

More importantly, their collision hadn't even ended.

The gigantic dragon god's fist didn't break his slash, but his slash wasn't able to cut through the dragon god's fist.

Of course, that was only because the dragon god fist was covered with wind and lightning.

They created a storm barrier around the fist, blocking the slash in its place.

The wind was so strong that his slash wasn't able to move forward. It was trying to cut the wind apart, but the lightning was also destroying the slash.

In this situation, it would've been a tie. After all, their attacks weren't doing great against each other.

But Tyler had one advantage.

Divine Energy!

One of the six energies that he used on that attack was Divine Energy.

Not only did this improve the durability and power of his attack, but it could also act as a reserve battery.

And Ben started noticing this. When his attack became smaller, Tyler's slash managed the same size and power.

His expression turned ugly as he tried to release more of his spiritual energy. This energy was directly connected to his attack.

But doing this wouldn't help him overpower his opponent. Because he wasn't constantly releasing his energy to clash against Tyler.

He used his energy to create a construct and used the construct for the battle. So, he could use his energy to maintain the construct, but couldn't increase its power.

On the other hand, Tyler's swordsmanship would improve the Sword Domain.

That meant every insight that he had in this battle was helping him improve his slash.

And, Tyler was genuinely getting enlightenment through his own attack. Because his attack had one motive.

That was to cut.

To reinforce this motive, several thoughts came to his mind, and each thought was more enlightening than the previous one.

'To cut the heaven! To cut the Earth'

'Why cut something sentient?'

'Why be content with cutting helpless people?'

'Heaven and Earth are sentient.'

'My shoulder should cut something lifeless, something intangible, something invisible.'

At this moment, his eyes glowed with purple light. The enlightenment helped him understand a new type of Sword Intent.

It was different than before.

He was marching towards death, towards soul, towards the end of life.

Every move that he created in Lightning Sword Art wasn't about lightning and swordsmanship.

The core content of those moves, the true intent of those moves, was all about death.

But without life, how could there be death?

So, he was always missing something. Missing the intent of his swordsmanship.

A Sword Intent specific to his intention, not his talent.

At this moment, the purple energy in his eyes intensified. He was seeing things, several lines flowing around him.

Each line was significant, and each line represented a certain aspect of the space.

But he wanted to go beyond this.

The Space was sentient. It was a Law, Supreme Law connected to the universe.

His sword wanted to cut something more than sentient, something that was outside the realm of comprehension.

At this moment, his childish thoughts appeared in his mind.

'Become the strongest cultivator'

'Fly in the sword. Make heaven and earth bow in front of you!'

'One day, I will make the heavenly palace for my mom.'

'To approach eternity, to find reincarnation, to reach the peak of Cultivation!'

At this moment, the purple energy in his eyes disappeared, revealing a serious look on his face as he muttered.

"I don't want to cut sentient beings. I want to cut beyond space-time. I want to cut a void."

"An existence that shouldn't have any sentience, shouldn't have any mass, shouldn't have any volume. Should just be emptiness."

"I want to cut the emptiness in my heart. I want to cut the void inside my heart."

"I want to cut."

At this moment, the aura around his slash changed. The Sword Domain began trembling.

His Sword Intent changed. His Sword Domain still existed there, but a new Sword Intent was born.

And, this Sword Intent was so massive that it dwarfed the Sword Domain itself.

When Ben saw this, his eyes widened as he asked.

"How can Sword Intent be superior to Sword Domain?"

At this moment, he didn't know what kind of Sword Intent Tyler managed to comprehend.

The power of the Sword Intent emerged as it tore through the wind and lightning.

Boom!

It tore apart the fist and went straight towards its chest.

"No, no, NOOOOOO!"

Ben roared as he kept pouring more and more of his spiritual energy into the humanoid dragon, but it couldn't stop the slash.

The slash managed to tear it apart.

Even so, this wasn't a normal cultivator. He was at the peak of the Nascent Soul Realm. His strongest attack had so much power that it exhausted everything in his slash.

Except for his Sword Intent.

When his slash came out, cutting the humanoid dragon in half, it was a thin slash that was moving towards Ben.

"I won't let this humiliate me."

Ben roared as his Storm Domain exploded, creating a thunderstorm that appeared in front of the slash.

Whoosh! Boom!

The slash tore it from the middle, but instead of dispersing the thunderstorm, it exploded over the slash.

By the time that slash came out of the explosion, it was only three inches long and half an inch thick.

It went straight towards Ben.

Ben didn't understand why, but he could still feel an enormous power in that attack. He didn't try to defend it.

He simply tried to dodge it, but he didn't do one thing.

Void exists beyond space-time.

When he moved, the slash had already appeared in front of him. If not for the lack of strength on Tyler's part, this slash would've appeared much faster.

The slash only managed to leave a small cut on his neck.

Ben raised his hand and touched the wound on his neck.

He stared at Tyler, his eyes were full of fear.

At this moment, he truly understood what kind of monster Tyler was. Now, he was beginning to understand what was needed to complete two trials.

Not a talent like his eldest and youngest son, not a talent that could be measured by mortals' comprehension.

This was beyond anyone's comprehension. This couldn't be recorded, couldn't be understood.

This was the true talent of Tyler.

At least, that's what he believed in.

When he was afraid of fear towards Tyler, Tyler was simply reflecting on his gain.

[Void Sword Intent]

'Previously, my Sword Intent was pure. It was just a Sword Intent. But now, it is beyond that.'

'It is not even the lightning but something I never thought I could achieve.'

'My mind has become so much clearer. Is it because my obsessions disappeared? Or, has my talent improved even further?'

'Or, maybe it's both!'

Tyler thought to himself.

He raised his hand, and a sword made out of sword energy appeared in his hand. Unlike his previous sword, this sword was a bit different.

It was slightly purple with a grey luster.

Tyler placed his real sword in the sheath and held the sword energy in his hand.

At this moment, Tyler understood the true power of his Void Sword Intent.

He could cut anything, anything with one restriction. This Void Sword Intent consumed his spiritual energy.

So, to use it, he had to consume a lot of spiritual energy.

AT this moment, he stabbed the sword forward and swung it down.

A tear appeared in front of him. He coated himself with Void Sword Intent and entered the tear.

The next moment, another tear appeared in front of Ben, who was watching this with disbelief and confusion.

Tyler smiled and said.

"Ben Ditto, I've come to bargain!"
