Chapter 1019 - 506: Retribution (Part 2)
The Yu family is never lenient with traitors; even if they are at the ends of the earth, they will be dealt with.
Zhao Lin suddenly smiled, "Of course, I would never betray Mister. I’m just curious, after all, I have never done this before, and I’m afraid of ruining Mister’s big plan due to my inexperience."
Han Li breathed a sigh of relief, "It’s good that you know. Mister is well aware of your capabilities, otherwise, he wouldn’t entrust this to you. Don’t disappoint Mister."
Zhao Lin nodded, "I will do my best."
Han Li gave him a deep look, "Not just do your best, but give it your all. Any mistake is unacceptable."
Han Li hurried to leave, disappearing quickly.
Zhao Lin stood by the lake for a while until two of his subordinates arrived.
"Captain, what happened?"
Zhao Lin looked at the raindrops dancing on the lake and said blandly, "Go pack up, and come with me to Jingzhou."
The two looked at each other, "Jingzhou?"
Immediately, excitement leapt into their eyes.
Staying in the deep mountains every day had driven them nearly mad, so the opportunity to go to the bustling Jingzhou was a delight.
Compared to his subordinates’ glee, Zhao Lin’s expression was deep and serious.
——
Yu Fusheng came out of the club, retching against a large tree.
The wine he drank was all vomited out.
Recalling the incessant toasting from those people, the veins on Yu Fusheng’s forehead bulged.
How had he ever endured such humiliation?
The faces were imprinted in his mind, and one day he would settle this debt, principal, and interest.
"Han Li."
He called out once, but there was no response, remembering only then that Han Li had been sent out on a task.
His assistant respectfully stepped forward to support him.
"Sir, Secretary Han is not here. Before he left, he instructed me to take care of you."
Yu Fusheng was helped into the car by the assistant, a hint of red clothing peeking.
The assistant quickly lowered his gaze, carefully closed the car door, opened the driver’s side door to get in, automatically lowered the partition, isolating the sounds from the back seat, then started the car to drive away.
A distinctly feminine perfume filled the air, and then a soft and boneless small hand deftly climbed to his forehead, gently massaging his temples with the right amount of pressure.
Yu Fusheng sighed comfortably, the headache eased, and even the burning sensation in his stomach from the alcohol was gradually soothed by the woman’s gentle fragrance.
"Sir, did you miss me?"
The woman whispered beside the man’s ear, her breath like orchids, the coquettish voice seemed to have hooks, swaying his mind.
As she spoke, the other hand skilfully climbed across the man’s chest, evoking shivers wherever it went.
The man grabbed the mischievous little hand on his chest, yanking it upwards, and the red dress fluttered inside the car. In the next instant, the woman was already straddling the man’s lap firmly.
"Miss you? How could I not?" The man’s large hand caressed the woman’s tender skin, their eyes locked, desire igniting like fire, burning fiercely within the narrow confines of the car.
The assistant drove the car steadily; the partition couldn’t block the soft and intimate murmurs that seeped through, making the assistant blush, yet he dared not get distracted for even a moment.
The woman bit Yu Fusheng’s ear gently, her enticing soft words whispering in his ear, "Sir, seeing me, it’s not merely about soft jade and warm fragrance. Who are you going to kill this time, hmm?"
As the man whispered against her ear, a name entered the woman’s ears.
As soon as she heard the name, she stiffened momentarily, doubting she had misheard.
The flames of desire vanished instantly, leaving only overwhelming fear.
"Who?"
"What, can’t bear it? I forgot, you all came out at the same time; it’s normal to be reluctant."
While Yu Fusheng spoke, his large hand caressed the woman’s slender neck with such gentle pressure, but she knew if she said anything wrong, this hand would mercilessly snap her neck the next instant.
The man was clearly in the throes of passion, yet in his eyes, there was a calm cruelty.
She wasn’t his woman, she was only the sharpest knife.
When, one day, this knife disobeyed, it would simply be broken.
She was like this, and so was Zhao Lin.
But she was different from Zhao Lin.
Because she was a woman, with the softest body, also the deepest eyes full of emotion with a heart willing to fall without reservation, and all of this was her weapon.
Her hands wrapped around the man’s neck, smiling brightly, "He betrayed Mister, he deserves to die."
Yu Fusheng smiled as he said, "He hasn’t betrayed me yet."
The woman paused, "How so?"
His fingers curled a lock of her hair, bringing it to his nose for a light sniff, "If he completes the task I’ve assigned him, then he need not die, otherwise..."
The woman realized, "It turns out Mister set a trap for him. Mister is so cunning, the mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind. He is the mantis, and Mister wants me to be the oriole."
