Chapter 125 - 125
Chapter 125 - 125
Universe 11.
On a certain planet, two figures streaked through the skies at blinding speed, colliding again and again. The shockwaves of their battle made the entire planet quake violently.
The heavens roared with thunderclaps, the ground split apart, and rubble blasted into the air as tectonic plates shifted.
The two fighters, clad in crimson battle suits, clashed like red lightning bolts.
They were Universe 11's Pride Troopers: Toppo and Dyspo!
Toppo's fists were like boulders, brimming with overwhelming force as he drove one straight at Dyspo's face.
The strike ripped the very air, detonating with an ear-splitting boom!
—BOOM!!!
Dyspo's eyes went wide as his body shot backward at incredible speed, blood spraying from his lips.
Impossible! Toppo… had grown even stronger?!
He prided himself on his unmatched speed—yet he had failed to evade the attack.
"This is bad…!"
Toppo raised his hand toward the fallen Dyspo, his five thick fingers unleashing five destructive energy blasts.
"Break! Break! Break!!"
—KRAKOOM!!!
The blasts rained down like a storm, swallowing Dyspo in a chain of deafening explosions.
In moments, Dyspo lay unconscious in the rubble, his body battered and smoking.
Nearby, a massive warrior sat cross-legged on the ground, eyes shut in meditation.
He hadn't moved an inch throughout the chaos.
It was Jiren—the Pride Troopers' strongest fighter, famed as the mightiest mortal.
He didn't so much as glance at the battle.
The other Pride Troopers too were busy training in their own ways.
Toppo landed and looked toward Jiren.
"Jiren… no matter what, why don't you spar with us for once? It would be better for everyone."
But Jiren's face was calm.
"No need."
Toppo frowned.
"Jiren, forgive me for speaking frankly, but this kind of silent training won't improve you much. Meditation alone… won't make you stronger. Real strength requires combat!"
Jiren's voice was flat.
"That may be true for you. Not for me."
Toppo sighed. Jiren was everything a warrior should be—but he just wouldn't cooperate with the team.
Dyspo groaned, dragging himself from the ruins, his body bloodied and weak.
He glared at Toppo.
"Damn it… do you ever know how to hold back?!"
Toppo was unmoved.
"If this were a real fight, you'd already be dead."
Dyspo clicked his tongue and let it drop.
Then he muttered curiously,
"Still… I can't stop wondering. That man who beat us senseless a few days ago… who drained the very energy of our universe… who was he?"
At those words, both Toppo and Jiren's faces darkened.
Jiren slowly opened his eyes.
Toppo clenched his fists, his voice bitter.
"Those guys… they were unreasonable. But it doesn't matter. Last time, I was just careless."
"Careless?!" Dyspo nearly fell over.
"You call being beaten until you didn't know east from west careless?!"
Toppo's stubborn pride was hard to stomach.
But Jiren finally spoke, his brow furrowed.
"Enough. A loss is a loss. What's the point of excuses?"
Toppo's face twisted.
"I… I don't accept it!"
Pride Troopers—justice incarnate—how could they bow their heads in humiliation?
Yet even Jiren had to admit: those enemies were strong. Too strong.
Even Dyspo had been utterly defeated. And Jiren himself…
He still remembered Haz, that terrifying warrior, pummeling him until his eyes were blackened and swollen.
Jiren clenched his fists.
"Next time… I'll win it back."
Just then—
A figure descended from the sky.
He wore loose black martial robes, a red belt at his waist, and a furry Saiyan tail wrapped neatly around it.
Handsome and composed.
Aishi.
He looked around once and understood instantly—this was the Pride Troopers' base.
Sensing battle as he passed through, he had come to see.
The Pride Troopers quickly noticed his arrival.
Toppo's sharp gaze locked onto him.
This man… when had he appeared?! Why hadn't he noticed?
Toppo's voice was stern.
"Boy. State your name. Where did you come from?"
Aishi only gave him a glance, offering no reply.
Toppo's tone grew cold.
"I asked you a question."
Still nothing.
Dyspo's face twisted.
"Don't waste words, Toppo. Look at him—he's here to cause trouble!"
Aishi: "…"
Toppo's eyes narrowed, his voice filled with disdain.
"Another fool who thinks beating the Pride Troopers will make his name? Then let me teach you—why the rose blooms red!!"
His aura ignited, crimson flames blazing skyward.
But just as he was about to step forward—
A hand stretched out, stopping him.
"…Jiren?"
Toppo blinked.
Jiren's eyes remained calm.
"I'll fight him."
Toppo frowned.
"But—"
Jiren cut him off.
"You can't win."
Toppo's face darkened, pride burning.
"What do you mean by that, Jiren?!"
But Jiren gave no explanation.
Instead, he looked at Aishi and spoke plainly.
"I am Jiren."
Aishi gave him a faint glance.
"…So?"
Jiren nodded slightly.
"You're here to challenge us?"
Aishi smirked.
"If I wanted to challenge you, those two would already be down."
Toppo and Dyspo's faces froze. He was talking about them!
Dyspo's eyes narrowed.
"Don't get cocky, kid…"
Toppo roared, unable to hold back.
"Enough talk! Take this!!!"
His five fingers spread, energy waves bursting forth with terrifying might.
The power of the 9th Dimension's lower tier—enough to annihilate any ordinary being.
He never intended to leave Aishi alive.
The blasts rained down like a storm, engulfing Aishi completely.
The Pride Troopers cheered.
"As expected of Captain Toppo!"
Smoke billowed across the battlefield.
Dyspo muttered, "Is he dead?"
Toppo sneered.
"That's what he gets for ignoring me."
But Jiren's calm gaze sharpened.
And then—
A quiet voice.
Everyone froze.
The smoke cleared.
Aishi stood untouched.
Toppo's face contorted.
"Impossible!! I didn't hold back!"
Aishi's eyes swept coldly across them.
BOOM!!!
An invisible gravity field crashed down on the Pride Troopers, pinning every last one—save Jiren—to the ground.
The earth cracked under their weight, groans filling the air.
Toppo struggled, veins bulging.
"Rrrraaaahh!!"
Aishi glanced his way and pressed his hand down lightly.
CRACK!
Toppo's knees shattered, collapsing him to the ground.
His face twisted in agony.
"My legs… I can't feel them… Impossible!!!"
His eyes burned at Aishi.
"Who the hell are you?!"
Aishi ignored him.
The pressure only grew heavier.
Dyspo's heart raced. This man… he was a monster. If he resisted, he'd end up crippled too.
"Damn it…" he cursed under his breath.
Even Jiren's calm expression shifted, his gaze on Aishi heavier than before.
"Why?" he asked solemnly.
Aishi smiled.
"Oh? You're allowed to attack, but I'm not?"
Jiren fell silent.
Aishi's voice was colder now.
"If you're dissatisfied… come at me yourself."
Jiren's pupils shrank.
That oppressive feeling… it was like being crushed by a higher lifeform.
But with Toppo screaming in pain, he had no choice.
Jiren clenched his fists, his aura beginning to rise.
The battle was inevitable.
