Dragon Ball: West City High Schooler, Captures 18!

Chapter 110 - 110

Chapter 110 - 110

Aishi looked at Shenron.

"So… you're the one trying to steal him from me?"

Shenron's tone remained respectful.

"That is not my intention. Son Goku exhausted his life force... by all rights, he should have already passed on. I was merely following the natural order."

Aishi narrowed his eyes.

"So me reviving him—is that not allowed?"

Shenron shook his head.

"It's not that it's not allowed…"

Aishi's tone turned cold.

"Then why did you try to stop me?"

If this dragon didn't explain it clearly—he wouldn't be walking away today.

Shenron could only sigh.

"To be honest, I came for Goku for a reason… His 'uniqueness' has great significance to the Dragon God Realm."

Aishi's eyes narrowed.

"Uniqueness?"

Shenron nodded slightly.

"Let me put it this way. Ever since the time of Chronoa—the Kaiōshin of Time—space-time has never stopped expanding. New timelines are born every moment… nearly thousands of them emerge every second."

"Back when Aeos was the Supreme Kai of Time, she would still regulate the number of timelines—keeping things from spiraling out of control."

"But now, without her… it's chaos."

"Do you understand?"

Aishi asked, "What does that have to do with you taking Son Goku?"

Shenron replied slowly,

"Because… no matter how many timelines emerge, those without a God of Destruction or an Angel—those empty timelines—they never multiply. In billions of years, only a handful of these timelines have ever appeared."

"Only a handful?"

Aishi's brows twitched slightly.

Those must refer to timelines like GT, right?

Only a few in billions of years?!

That's… crazy.

Shenron nodded again.

"Yes. The Time Patrol you know of—they are one of them."

Aishi raised an eyebrow.

"So you're saying this Goku… is crucial to the stability of that special timeline?"

Shenron nodded.

"Exactly."

Aishi was speechless for a moment.

"What a ridiculous setup…"

Shenron chuckled softly.

"I understand it sounds absurd. But the truth is, this timeline's Son Goku can bring something unique to the Dragon God Realm."

"Didn't you notice that Time Patrol Goku was… different?"

Aishi shook his head.

"Nope."

What was so special?

From what he saw, they were nearly the same. Personality maybe a bit different—

But strength-wise, the two Gokus were almost identical.

Shenron smiled.

"You'll understand eventually, Lord God of Destruction of Time. I won't hide it from you. Across all timelines—no matter how powerful, how terrifying, how flashy or evil they seem—it's all irrelevant."

He paused, then emphasized one word:

"Because as long as the Main Timeline exists… everything else is predetermined."

The word "main" was heavily stressed.

Aishi's eyes narrowed.

This was huge.

"You know about the Main Timeline?"

Shenron nodded solemnly.

"Of course. I am the Shenron of the Main Timeline."

Aishi suddenly understood. He stared at Shenron and teased:

"Then your Son Goku must be protected at all costs by the Main Timeline, huh?"

Shenron shook his head.

"You don't understand. It's not that he's from the Main Timeline. But his rarity makes him comparable."

Aishi nodded slightly.

"What's the difference between your timeline and ours?"

This "Main Timeline" stuff was starting to give him a headache.

Could his timeline be some off-brand hybrid?

Shenron thought for a moment and said,

"At the core, the difference lies in the Gods."

"Gods?"

Shenron nodded.

"Yes. Specifically—the real Grand Zeno. As long as the true Zeno exists in that world, that world is the Main Timeline."

Aishi narrowed his gaze.

"What about the other Zenos?"

Shenron looked around carefully, then said in a hushed voice:

"Don't ever speak that aloud. Just think of them as projections of the real one."

Aishi continued.

"And the Grand Priest?"

Shenron nodded.

"All top-tier deities follow the same rule. Every other timeline contains only past or future versions of their real selves."

Aishi finally understood.

"What about ordinary people?"

"Same idea," Shenron said.

"They follow the direction of the Main Timeline. Whatever happens there—others will generally echo it. Major deviations are rare."

"If the deviation is too great, that timeline becomes special."

Aishi nodded.

"One more thing—my title of God of Destruction of Time… by your logic, am I a projection too?"

Shenron shook his head.

"I'm not sure. Normally, such multiversal titles can only be bestowed by the Zeno of the Main Timeline. Any titles given by other timelines are… well, less legitimate."

"But you—" Shenron said seriously,

"You don't feel like a 'knock-off.' That's why I respect you."

Aishi nodded thoughtfully—then suddenly remembered something.

"…What about 18?"

Because if only titles from the Main Timeline are legit…

He recalled the time he was in the alternate space-time and had looked closely at his wife.

No green grass growing on his head (thankfully)—

No signs of 18 being with Krillin either.

If Shenron's words were true, then this timeline couldn't be the Main Timeline.

After all, because of Aishi's interference, 18 ended up with him!

That means the other 18 didn't end up with Krillin.

Shenron quickly shook his head.

"Impossible! If your world was the Main Timeline—I'll eat ten tons of dirt!"

He said it firmly.

"You're joking, right? Do you know who's in my timeline?"

"The Dragon God Zalama!!!"

Aishi froze.

That name…

The creator of Super Shenron—the ultimate dragon.

This being has never appeared outside of the Main Timeline.

Never projected.

Never copied.

A character of such magnitude would never have reflections in other worlds.

That alone proves his timeline is the original.

Aishi laughed.

"I see."

Now that he had learned so much, he decided not to press Shenron further.

"Where are you taking him?"

Shenron replied with a smile.

"To the Dragon God Realm."

Aishi nodded.

"I see. Then go."

Shenron's face lit up.

"Thank you!"

If Aishi had decided to stop him…

He truly wouldn't have stood a chance. The power difference was immense.

Even so… Shenron suddenly felt a strange doubt.

If this man is so strong—

Why doesn't he exist in any other timeline?

That made no sense.

But Shenron brushed the thought aside.

Maybe it was just the nature of the God of Destruction of Time.

After all, they dealt with anomalies every day.

He raised a claw in a respectful gesture, gently lifting the unconscious Son Goku and placing him securely on his back.

Just as he was about to leave—

Aishi suddenly spoke.

"Oh right—one more thing."

Shenron paused and looked at him.

"What is it?"

Aishi glanced at Goku.

"When he wakes up…

Tell him to come to us…"

"To participate in the Dimensional Tournament."

Shenron blinked.

"Dimensional Tournament?"

Aishi nodded.

"Yes."

Shenron didn't understand, but he nodded anyway.

"Understood. I'll tell him."

Aishi gave a slight nod.

As Shenron departed—

Aishi stood silently.

Nearby, the Old Kai and the others were still stunned.

Who is Zeno?

Who is the Grand Priest?

What even is the Main Timeline?!

These concepts had left them completely dumbfounded.

Meanwhile—

Aishi suddenly froze as he remembered something.

His face twisted in frustration.

He forgot to ask Shenron…

What transformation Son Goku had just used!

Damn!

Oh well.

He'd just have to ask him during the Dimensional Tournament.

After greeting the Kais, Aishi's figure vanished once again.

Earth.

Thanks to the Time Scroll—

Everything here had been restored.

But everyone who had died… still retained their memories.

The living looked around in confusion.

Vegeta slowly stood up, massaging his sore head.

"Damn it… What the hell just happened?

Where's Kakarot?!"

Everyone looked just as baffled as he was.

They quickly gathered together and began exchanging information.

When they realized they had all died once—

They collectively fell into a stunned silence.

Vegeta clenched his fists.

His voice was urgent.

"Where's Kakarot?!!"

He looked at the others.

"Did any of you see what happened to him before you died?"

"No one."

Vegeta's face darkened.

What the hell is going on?!

Just then—

A figure appeared before them.

Aishi.

Everyone instantly stepped back, faces full of fear and tension.

They couldn't help it—after all that had happened, their instincts were fried.

Vegeta stared at Aishi.

So strong!

Having already died once, Vegeta wasn't as impulsive as before.

His tone remained calm.

"…Who are you?"

With Kakarot gone, this guy might be their only hope.

"Aishi."

Aishi waved his hand.

Time ruptured—

A new figure stepped out from the void.

Pan.

"Pan!!!"

Son Gohan cried out and rushed forward, embracing her tightly.

Father and daughter reunited, tears streaming down both their faces.

But at that moment—

Aishi noticed something strange.

Standing beside Gohan… wasn't Videl.

But a completely unfamiliar woman.

Though… she wasn't bad-looking.

Aishi blinked.

Looking at Pan closely, he realized—

Something was different.

He glanced at Krillin too.

There was 18—

But she was standing far away from him, over ten meters apart.

Clearly, no relationship!

18 was also staring at Aishi.

And strangely… she felt something unexplainable.

Like… the feeling of love.

Recalling what Shenron said, Aishi smirked.

Eat ten tons, huh?

Start chewing, glutton.
