Chapter 307 307: Broly Goes Berserk Again

On the floating island, Janemba and Hirudegarn had just sent Beijitena and Trunks away.

A new pair appeared in the space.

Son Goku and Latilith.

"Wow, this place is really weird." Goku curiously looked around at the crystals floating all over the area.

Latilith, meanwhile, stared nervously at the two opponents. "Kakarot! Be careful, those two don't look easy to deal with!"

"Yeah, their energy really is strong." Goku frowned.

Janemba and Hirudegarn also noticed the newcomers.

To them, Latilith was nothing but an ant.

But the Goku standing beside her was unfathomable.

"Roar!" Hirudegarn attacked first, throwing a punch at Goku.

Goku did not dodge. He met it with a punch of his own.

Boom!

Fist collided with giant fist, and the terrifying shockwave shattered every crystal nearby.

Hirudegarn's massive body was actually blasted back hundreds of meters by Goku's single punch.

"So strong!" Latilith was dumbfounded.

Janemba saw that and immediately swung his sword to attack as well.

Goku instantly transformed into Super Saiyan 4 and fought both enemies alone, quickly suppressing them.

"Latilith, just watch from the side and learn." Goku kept fighting while instructing her. "If you can master ki control, it'll help a lot with transforming into Super Saiyan."

"First, try focusing your power in your back, then..."

Goku carefully explained the trick behind the transformation.

Latilith immediately followed his instructions and began drawing on the power inside her body.

"Haaah!"

She roared, and the Saiyan blood in her body began to boil.

Golden energy erupted from her body. Her waist-length black hair turned dazzling gold, and her eyes shifted to emerald green.

Super Saiyan.

This was the first time she had transformed without relying on any drug, purely through her own strength.

"I did it..." Latilith felt the surging power inside her and was overwhelmed with excitement.

"Not bad, Latilith!"

Goku glanced over during the fight and was instantly surprised. "Wow, your hair is so long. You almost look like Super Saiyan 3. If I didn't look closely, I really couldn't tell!"

Hearing Goku praise her, Latilith's confidence immediately skyrocketed.

Super Saiyan 3 was something she knew about.

Its most obvious trait was the long golden hair reaching down the back.

And right now, she looked exactly like that.

"Maybe... I'm a genius. Maybe I skipped straight to Super Saiyan 3."

After all, Bardock and Goku could both become Super Saiyan 4.

If her little brother could do it, then as his older sister, she obviously could too.

Latilith kept powering up.

"Haaah!"

The muscles throughout her body swelled slightly, and her power rose sharply again.

If a form looked like Super Saiyan 3 and was far stronger than Super Saiyan 1, then maybe it really was Super Saiyan 3.

"So this is the power of Super Saiyan 3? Hahaha..."

"Kakarot, stand back! Leave these two to me!" Latilith's long hair flowed behind her as her spirit soared. "Let me show you the true power of the genius warrior Latilith!"

She shot toward Janemba as a streak of golden light.

"Take this!"

Latilith threw a punch.

Janemba casually blocked it with one hand and sent her flying dozens of meters backward.

"What?" Latilith looked startled. "Don't get cocky. That was just a warm-up!"

Her attacks grew fiercer and fiercer.

Unfortunately, although Super Saiyan multiplied her power many times over, she was still nowhere near Janemba's level.

Janemba quickly grew tired of the noisy little pest in front of him and swung his sword once.

Latilith was struck by the sword aura and sent flying.

As she flew back, Hirudegarn stepped on her with one huge foot and slammed her into the rock.

"Wah!" Latilith spat out blood and looked utterly miserable.

Then Hirudegarn took the chance to spew a blast of fire, swallowing her whole.

"Latilith!" Goku panicked. In a flash, he rushed over and pulled her out of the flames at the last possible moment.

"Cough, cough... Damn it, why are these two so strong..." Latilith looked filthy and battered, and all the confidence she had just gained was gone.

"They're not ordinary opponents." Goku sounded helpless. "From here on, you still need to keep learning how to use ki. That way, when you fight, you'll be able to judge the gap between yourself and your opponent."

"Alright. I'll listen to you from now on." Latilith looked at Goku and finally asked the question that had been bothering her all along. "Kakarot, just how strong are you? Can we beat these two monsters?"

"How strong I am is hard to say." Goku grinned. "But if I fight seriously, I can take them out in one go."

Worried that Latilith would not believe him, Goku prepared to show her his full strength.

"No." Latilith refused.

She stood back up, and her eyes burned with determination.

Beijitena, just wait. I'm definitely going to get ahead of you.

I, Latilith, am a pure-blood Saiyan now, with a Super Saiyan 4 father and a Super Saiyan 4 brother. How could I lose to you?

"Kakarot, keep training me!" Latilith wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth. "I'm going to surpass the limits of the Saiyan race right here!"

Goku froze for a moment, then broke into a smile.

"Alright!"

At the Ultimate Experimental Arena, more and more advancing contestants were gathering in the stands.

Seven Black Gold Cooler mechanical bodies, several Bio-Brolys, and then Android 18, Bulma, Puar, Yamcha, and the others.

Especially on Earth's side, more and more people were starting to look like they had a real chance of reaching the end.

As Paragus watched Earthlings on the screens transform into Super Saiyans again and again, his face turned darker and darker.

"This is impossible! How can there be so many Super Saiyans on Earth?"

"Broly, did you see that? Those Earthlings are obstacles to the Saiyan Empire. They are all your enemies."

"We're going to kill them all and conquer their planet. We'll make them understand who the true master of the universe is!"

Broly did not respond.

His gaze was fixed on one person on the screen.

Son Goku.

"Ka... Kakarot..." A low growl came from his throat, and red light flickered in his eyes.

Buried memories seemed to have been stirred awake.

The crying that had once echoed beside him in infancy now seemed to ring in his ears again.

Paragus noticed the change in Broly. "That's right, Broly! That man is your enemy too!"

But then Broly's gaze was drawn to another screen.

On it, Ginyu was striking what he thought was a handsome battle pose while asking Gohan for pointers on what he lacked.

The moment Broly clearly saw Ginyu's face, his pupils shrank violently.

That was the one. The one who had almost killed his own father earlier in battle.

The image Fu had shown him when waking him up was still vivid in his mind.

Broly's body trembled slightly.

Paragus immediately understood. He, too, hated Ginyu to the bone after narrowly surviving death at his hands.

But now was not the time to act.

However...

Boom!!!

A dark purple aura exploded out of Broly's body, wild and absolute, sweeping across the entire space.

Everyone in the arena was alarmed.

Levos frowned. "Why did Broly suddenly go berserk?"

Moro and Cooler both revealed grave expressions.

Paragus was startled by Broly's sudden outburst and instantly felt another wave of headache.

Decades ago, he had still been able to use a special collar to suppress Broly's berserk state.

But now, for Broly, who had completely mastered Destroyer energy, no technology could restrain him anymore.

"No! Broly! Not now! This still isn't the time to display your power!"

Only Paragus truly understood how terrifying his son was.

Once Broly lost control, he became bloodthirsty and savage. Unless a huge number of lives were sacrificed, or several planets were destroyed, he would not return to normal.

Broly's hair and pupils turned purple, his brow bone protruded, his eyebrows vanished, and his muscles swelled to their limit.

"I'll make you feel pain!"

Broly threw a punch straight at the barrier ceiling.

The whole space shook violently. Under the force of that punch, the entire arena was flattened into ruins.

All the floating images vanished, and a visibly pained Fu appeared once more.

"I worked so hard to build this stage. Causing trouble in my experimental arena is forbidden!"

Fu's face darkened.

He drew the short blade at his waist and slashed. A purple spatial fissure immediately sliced toward Broly.

"Disobedient test subjects need to be punished."

The Destroyer energy around Broly surged. He actually crushed that spatial fissure head-on.

"What?"

Fu's pupils contracted.

His spatial slash was enough to cut through dimensions, yet it had been shattered by pure destructive energy.

Broly had only one target in mind, but anyone foolish enough to stand in his way would receive no mercy.

He swung another punch. This time, the force of it twisted the surrounding space itself.

Boom!

The arena ruins sank further into the ground, and cracks spread all over the barrier dome.

"This guy... has completely mastered Destroyer energy..."

The seven Black Gold Coolers stepped back slightly, evaluating Broly frantically.

The final result of that evaluation left even Cooler himself surprised.

Moro licked his lips, his eyes full of greed.

"What pure destructive energy... If I could eat him..."

Of course, Moro only thought it. Setting aside the fact that Cooler would never just stand by, Broly himself was clearly no easy prey.

Above them, the fight between Fu and Broly continued.

Broly was now trapped within hundreds upon hundreds of spatial fissures Fu had generated.

Yet Broly's violent Destroyer energy ignored all reason.

Dark purple energy revolved around him and formed a massive spherical vortex.

Boom!!!

Every spatial fissure shattered.

A black hole-like phenomenon even appeared around Broly, as if it could swallow everything nearby.

Fu was blasted back by the shockwave and only just managed to stabilize himself in the air.

"Damn it..."

As he looked at the purple figure below, he felt for the first time that one of his test subjects might be slipping fully beyond his control.

At that moment, several entirely different presences erupted all at once.

Cooler's voice was icy. "This farce is boring. I have no interest in playing along any longer."

All seven Black Gold Coolers raised their hands simultaneously, sending dozens of energy spheres like miniature suns blasting at the barrier ceiling.

"Hmph. Watching all this fighting has made me hungry."

Moro grinned viciously and fired a massive beam filled with overwhelming magic, aiming at the barrier too.

"Then I'll test the barrier's toughness as well."

Levos brought both hands together at his waist.

"Kamehameha!"

Puar, Android 21, and the others also attacked, each unleashing their strongest moves at the heaven-like dome bound by giant chains.

Boom, boom, boom, boom!!!

The entire Ultimate Experimental Arena shook as if the apocalypse had arrived.

The barrier rippled violently.

Then giant cracks began spreading across the massive chains binding the whole planet.

Crack... crack...

Sharp snapping sounds rang out one after another.

Finally, with an earth-shaking explosion, the chains shattered.

The restraint had been broken.

Fu's face turned ugly to the extreme.

"You... you people! How dare you ruin my grand experiment!"

Yet he quickly calmed down.

"Fine! In that case, I may as well reveal my great plan ahead of schedule!"

Fu looked utterly intoxicated.

"You think this was just a game to toy with you? Wrong! This was a necessary selection process for a magnificent goal!"

"I am going to create a brand-new timeline. A world without Zeno, without gods, without those so-called guardians of order lording over everything!"

His voice, charged with manipulation, echoed throughout the entire space.

"When the time is right, the Dark Demon Realm will descend! Together, we will overturn the current so-called divine system and establish a truly free new order!"

"And you, the powerful ones who emerged from my experimental arena, will stand with me as pioneers of that new world!"

Fu's eyes burned with fanaticism.

"Join me! Together, we will witness the birth of a new era!"
