Chapter 303 303: Sleep It Off. When You Wake Up, It’ll All Be Over.
Chapter 303 303: Sleep It Off. When You Wake Up, It’ll All Be Over.
Beijitena slammed Trunks aside and charged straight at the nearest Bio-Broly.
"Dad…" Trunks' face tightened with worry.
"Die, you monster!"
She poured every last ounce of Super Saiyan 2 into her fist and drove it into Bio-Broly's face.
BOOM !
The ground exploded into a crater.
That punch was enough to shatter an ordinary planet.
But the scene she expected his skull bursting apart never came.
Instead, Beijitena felt like she'd punched a slab of steel. The recoil raced through her entire body and sent her flying back.
And Bio-Broly… didn't even sway.
"W-what…?"
Her pupils shook with disbelief.
How?
Her full-power strike… and he wasn't even scratched?
Bio-Broly bared a vicious grin, lowering his head to look down at the tiny runt who didn't even reach his chest.
The next second, his body launched forward.
So fast Beijitena couldn't even react
A hand clamped around her head.
BOOOOM !!!
With one savage fling, he slammed her straight into the earth!
A bottomless crater formed at the impact point. Spiderweb cracks ripped outward in every direction. Mountains collapsed. Dust blasted into the sky.
"Dad!" Trunks shouted, surging forward to rescue her
But the other Bio-Broly was already in his way, an ocean of brutal attacks crashing down like a tidal wave.
Trunks grit his teeth and activated his Ultimate form, locking into a fierce struggle. For a moment, he couldn't break free.
Deep in the crater.
Bio-Broly slowly lifted his hand.
Beijitena dangling from his grip was drenched in blood, her battle suit shredded to rags.
"Y-you… bastard…"
She forced energy into her palms and fired point-blank at his chest.
BOOM!
The blast exploded at close range.
When the smoke cleared
It hadn't even scraped his skin.
Bio-Broly seemed… irritated.
Still gripping her by the head, he started sprinting through the canyon, dragging her body along the cliff walls like sandpaper against stone.
The sound of rock pulverizing echoed across the battlefield.
Pain whitewashed Beijitena's mind. She was on the verge of blacking out.
No… impossible…
Broly's green form how could it completely crush Super Saiyan 2?!
Why… why was it like this?!
The Legendary Super Saiyan… really couldn't be beaten?
Her consciousness blurred until only stubborn, burning unwillingness remained.
BOOM!
Her body smashed into a sheer rock wall and embedded deep inside.
Bio-Broly stopped, staring at her half-dead state. A cruel smile spread across his face.
Then he leapt high
And stomped down on her like a man bouncing on a bungee cord.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The ground collapsed. Beijitena's body punched through layer after layer of stone.
Her aura had long since extinguished, her hair turning back to black.
Not far away, Trunks saw it
And his eyes bled.
"Dad!"
Images flashed through his mind in an instant.
The first time he'd seen that proud girl on the Saiyan Empire warship, introducing herself with her chin held high.
She was stubborn. Arrogant. Always acting like she wanted no one near her.
But Trunks knew the truth.
More than anyone, she craved recognition. Craved strength. Craved the pride that belonged to the Saiyan race.
And when she learned her past life had been Saiyan royalty, she never said it out loud
But Trunks could see it.
That pride came with something heavier: responsibility. A mission.
Her obsession with power wasn't for show.
She wanted to change the Saiyan Empire.
Sure, her personality was terrible and she didn't have friends.
But beneath that hard shell was a soft heart.
And now that heart was being trampled and crushed by a monster, without mercy.
Trunks hated his own helplessness.
And he burned with fury at the enemy's savage cruelty.
"Unforgivable… absolutely unforgivable!!!"
RUMBLE !
The entire testing ground began to quake.
Golden ki became a storm that swallowed the sky. Lightning ripped across the battlefield.
"HAAAAAAAHHHH!!!"
His hair grew wildly, cascading down to his waist. His brow ridge thickened his eyebrows vanished. His face hardened into something cold and severe.
An aura far beyond Super Saiyan 2 flooded the entire arena.
Super Saiyan 3!
"This power… it's several times stronger than the Ultimate form's boost. Is this what a purer Saiyan bloodline changes…?"
For years, the Earth fighters had argued endlessly over which was stronger: Super Saiyan 3 or Ultimate.
Now Trunks had the answer.
Even the two Bio-Brolys felt it. Their movements stalled for a fraction of a second.
Now!
Trunks vanished.
The next moment, he appeared in front of the Bio-Broly who was torturing Beijitena.
"GET… AWAY FROM HER!!!"
A heavy punch, packed with endless rage, smashed clean into Bio-Broly's abdomen.
BANG !!!
Bio-Broly's stomach was pierced straight through. Blood sprayed out in a hot crimson arc.
His body shot away like a meteor, smashing through more than a dozen mountain peaks before disappearing beyond the horizon.
Trunks didn't pause.
He turned to the other Bio-Broly, who had just reacted.
"You're next."
He disappeared again.
The fight no, the one-sided beating began.
In Super Saiyan 3, Trunks' speed and strength climbed into a realm that made no sense.
He swarmed Bio-Broly with a hurricane of strikes.
Every punch and kick cratered the monster's body inward.
Red fluid splattered everywhere. The roars shifted from rage to pained howls.
"I'm not done!"
Trunks appeared above him, both hands raised as golden energy condensed wildly.
"This is for what you did to Dad!"
"Galick Gun!"
A thick, golden beam erupted from his palms. It tore through Bio-Broly's body with unstoppable force.
ROAR !
Broly let out a furious, unwilling scream as his body disintegrated inch by inch inside the beam, until he finally collapsed gone.
Trunks panted, lungs burning.
His long golden hair rapidly shortened. His aura faded, and he dropped back to normal.
Super Saiyan 3 drained stamina too brutally.
He'd only held it for a brief moment, and it had wrung him dry.
Trunks looked toward the deep rock layers where Beijitena was buried, shredded and unmoving.
His heart clenched hard.
He rushed down into the crater, carefully digging her out of the rubble and cradling her in his arms.
"Hold on, Dad!"
His shaking hands searched his pockets.
Then his face lit up.
A Senzu Bean.
Levos had given it to him before the game began just in case.
At the celebration party, Yajirobe had brought fewer than ten freshly grown beans.
With Buu, Supreme Kai Shin, and Dende around, everyone had thought Senzu Beans were basically obsolete.
No one expected they'd matter at a moment like this.
Trunks didn't hesitate.
He gently pried Beijitena's mouth open and placed the bean inside.
It melted instantly.
Warm, powerful life force surged through her body like a tide.
Her terrifying wounds stitched themselves shut at a visible speed. Shattered bones reconnected. Her faint ki rapidly strengthened.
"…Mm."
Beijitena let out a soft groan and slowly opened her eyes.
The first thing she saw was Trunks' face exhausted, terrified, and full of concern.
"Trunks…"
But then
Far off at the edge of the sky, a green figure blasted upward, murderous intent howling toward them.
Both their expressions turned ugly in the same instant.
Trunks was close to empty. Even staying airborne would be hard.
And that raging green ki was closing in at a horrifying speed mountains collapsing one after another along its path.
"Damn it…"
Their first instinct was to run.
But in a testing ground with limited space…
Where could they even go?
"Dad… I'm sorry…"
Trunks pulled Beijitena into a tight embrace.
"Huh?" Beijitena blinked, confused.
The next second
A knife-hand strike snapped into the back of her neck.
Beijitena's eyes widened in disbelief
Then the light in them vanished, her body going limp as she fell unconscious again.
"Sleep," Trunks whispered. "When you wake up… it'll all be over."
He hid Beijitena inside a pile of broken stones.
Then, alone, he forced out every last drop of power he had left and shot toward the distance.
…
Levos was studying Android 21 in her Golden Mecha form.
That metallic gold sheen… honestly looked just as cool as Golden Mecha Cell Max.
"We both come from Earth," Levos said evenly. "There's no need to fight. Don't you think?"
"Earth…" A flicker of confusion passed through 21's eyes only to be swallowed by madness.
"Instinct tells me you'll taste delicious. More delicious than every prey I've eaten combined!"
Before she even finished speaking, the tip of her tail transformed into a sharp stinger and stabbed toward Levos like lightning.
Levos shifted half a step and transformed instantly Beast stacked over Super Saiyan 4 catching the incoming tail tip with one hand.
"What I'm curious about," he said, calm as ever, "is why an Earthling like you is here."
21 didn't answer.
It was like reason had been ripped out of her. There was only hunger left in her eyes.
She raised a finger.
A magical beam shot out.
Levos slapped it aside and met her fist with his own.
BOOM !
The shockwave rippled outward in layered rings. The ground beneath them split as a single massive slab. Even the shattered rocks were pulverized into dust.
"You're strong," Levos said. "If you weren't being controlled by that devour-and-evolve instinct, you'd be even stronger."
Then his fists fell like a storm, pounding her body over and over.
RUMBLE !
The entire space trembled. The earth caved inward. Lava erupted around them.
Even a Golden mechanical body couldn't endure that kind of punishment.
Crack crack !
21's body shattered.
But her recovery was even more frightening.
Metallic cables extended from inside her, binding the broken pieces together, rebuilding and sealing her form in moments.
And that was only her mechanical recovery method.
With Buu cells on top of it, wiping her out completely was anything but easy.
In fact, Levos seriously suspected she might even have Cell Max cells inside her too.
So if he couldn't confirm whether she was friend or enemy…
He absolutely couldn't let a monster with this kind of potential keep growing.
21's pupils tightened.
She realized her tail was locked down by an irresistible force. No matter how she struggled, she couldn't pull it back.
With no space to dodge, she could only keep taking hits.
"Let go of me!" The madness in her eyes faded slightly, replaced by anger.
Seeing that flicker of reason return, Levos tried to talk again.
"Your name is 21, right? Why did Dr. Gero create you?"
21's body trembled as implanted memories surged up.
To take revenge on Son Goku.
And also… to commemorate his late wife, Vomi using her as the model for the design that became Android 21…
But she hadn't inherited any of Vomi's memories.
Since awakening, her mind had contained only one target Son Goku along with enormous amounts of research and martial data.
Everything else had been survival.
In a sense…
This planet was where she was truly "born."
She woke here, and immediately began fighting endlessly.
Her opponents were fused Zamasu's clones, trying to turn her into fertilizer. They came without end, undead and unkillable.
Cooler and Moro wanted to devour her too.
In the end, she devoured them instead one by one evolving toward higher and higher forms.
And now, here was this man.
He was just as powerful as she was… yet he kept trying to talk to her.
To pull her back to her senses.
Confusion replaced the frenzy. It had been a long time since she'd thought like this.
21 lowered her head
And suddenly saw what she'd become.
A wash of blood-red flooded her pupils. Her body began to tremble.
"This body… am I a monster now?"
"It's just a transformation," Levos chuckled. "Honestly, it's pretty cool. Kinda like my Cell Max's forms."
If 21 and Cell Max were following a mechanical evolution path, then the next step after Golden should be Black-Gold.
Levos found himself already thinking about how he might unlock Black-Gold later.
"You can transform too?" 21's eyes widened with genuine wonder, like she'd found someone of her own kind.
"Yeah. But ever since Cell Max became my clone, I usually leave him training at a cultivation holy land. He's not with me right now."
"…Then you have a way to turn me back?" 21's voice steadied. Half serious, half hopeful, she stared at Levos.
Then she explained softly, almost like confessing something shameful.
"Most of the time, I only return to normal after I fall asleep. If I'm awake, I feel hungry… and the desire forces me to become the monster again."
Her words made Levos feel a quiet heaviness.
When he'd first obtained Cell Max's body, he'd been affected by that same hunger.
Even now, part of him worried Cell Max might someday "go dark."
He'd imagined the worst-case scenario.
And it had come true in her.
This one…
He'd have to watch her carefully. Guide her.
Levos made his decision.
And started thinking fast about how he could help her.
