After removing his haori, casting the heavy, cloth captain's cloak aside, and releasing a red flaming layer of Reiatsu, the heat intense and visible, Yamamoto glanced at the Eero standing in front of him. He was surprised in his heart after seeing calm expression on Eero face despite being affected by his immense Reiatsu pressure and added, "Come on brat unleash your zanpakuto and let me see your hidden powers,"
Eero raised his brow and then glanced at Yamamoto and then spoke calmly, "I now know why you chased me all the way here, probably because you felt a threat from my existence or you felt that I am uncontrollable, you want to bring me under rule or order of this Soul Society,"
After speaking, Eero shook his head and sighed, releasing a long breath, a plume of cold, visible mist in the superheated air. Then his gaze sharpened, becoming as sharp as a diamond, looking at Yamamoto releasing his Reiatsu pressure. He pulled out his Zanpakuto from a black and blue scabbard and added, "But your strength is not enough to do that old man,"
After stretching and cracking his joints, the sound surprisingly loud, Yamamoto picked up his Zanpakuto, which bursts into flames as well, becoming an extension of the fiery Reiatsu, and sent a wave of fire at Eero with a slash, a roaring, devastating arc of pure heat.
Instantly all the captains in different places were startled, and everyone froze on the spot, feeling the wave of power. Then everyone at once turned and glanced in the direction of the hill in shock, feeling the horror-filled Reiatsu collision from there, as if the whole Seireitei were divided into two parts because of the intense Reiatsu pressure... one half burning red, the other freezing blue.
"Who is the owner of this Reiatsu? It's competing against the Head Captain Yamamoto."
Matsumoto muttered in shock, her breath catching in her throat, looking at the sky above the hill rendered in blue and red, a swirling vortex of elemental conflict. Then she turned and glanced at the Captain Toshiro beside her in shock; both of them almost reached the Central 46.
Captain Toshiro glanced at the blue visible Reiatsu, a flicker of professional curiosity in his eyes, and then shook his head and walked forward saying, "We shouldn't be caring about that right now, follow me we are almost there."
Meanwhile, the Head Captain Yamamoto riled up with intense red and heat fluctuation above his body, the air shimmering and distorting with the heat. The fact surprised him that his Shikai flame slashes have been cancelling after colliding with equally powerful blue slashes from the opposite side.
"What kind of zanpakuto have you awakened?"
Head Captain Yamamoto stopped and then asked with furrowed brows, a genuine confusion mixing with his rage, looking at the white thin blade in Eero's hand with electric blue lines etched across its surface. He was surprised by the fact that another elemental Zanpakuto rivaled his oldest flame Zanpakuto.
Eero stopped and then raised the blue and black blade in his hand and replied with a smile, "My Zanpakuto is an ice attribute Zanpakuto, it's a pure elemental Zanpakuto just like your flame Zanpakuto."
Head Captain Yamamoto raised his brow in surprise hearing his reply, although he guessed it but still he couldn't contain the surprise in his heart. The very idea was an anomaly.
Eero glanced at his surprised expression and then added calmly, "Captain Yamamoto, your Zanpakuto is known as oldest and strongest because no other shinigami awakened a zanpakuto like yours,"
Captain Yamamoto nodded and then spoke with a sharp gaze looking at Eero, "You may be right about that but you can't cross the gap of experience, I hope you are ready for my next attack brat in order to avoid turning into ashes,"
Eero flinched, a small, barely perceptible movement, looking at the serious expression on his face, and became thoughtful.
'This old guy, is he serious? Is he planning to use Bankai? Maybe not.
Eero thought to himself, seeing the Captain Yamamoto condensing the flame around his Zanpakuto in order to release the ultimate Shikai attack, the sheer density of the heat making the air crackle.
Eero then raised his Zanpakuto in front of him and then said, looking at him, "I think you should use Bankai instead of Shikai, Captain Yamamoto; Shikai can't turn me into ashes."
Captain Yamamoto waved his Zanpakuto, and huge flame pillars pierced out from the ground around Eero, hot and immense, and large flame slashes flew toward him, roaring like beasts.
'Despite the strongest flame Zanpakuto, the attacks are quite straight.'
Eero thought to himself and then waved his Zanpakuto; instantly the surrounding flame pillars disappeared, extinguished in a flash of deep blue, and ice-cold blue slashes collided with the flame slashes, releasing a thick, turbulent plume of smoke toward the surrounding.
"It will take us all day without reaching a conclusion. How about a truce? You are old; I don't want to hurt your old body, Captain Yamamoto," Eero said helplessly, shrugging his shoulders, his voice carrying an almost bored tone.
Captain Yamamoto glanced at him and then his riling Reiatsu calmed down, the red glow fading, and he stood silently after sheathed his Zanpakuto and wearing his haori back, his eyes still sharp and calculating.
"Although you have hindered the justice but I decided to forgive you, if you explain your motives," The Captain Yamamoto then spoke, looking at him calmly with slanted eyes.
