Don't Fall For Me, CEO

Chapter 1251: For You

Chapter 1251: For You

When July Quinn woke up, the sky had already darkened.Only a small lamp was on in the room, she looked around but didn’t see Kyle Keaton’s figure.

She then got out of bed to look for him.

She didn’t find him, instead, she ran into Richard Donovan.

"Dad."

"Looking for him?"

Originally, she didn’t think there was anything wrong, but Richard’s question made July feel a bit awkward.

She hung her head in frustration.

But Richard, helplessly, placed his hand on her head, gently ruffling her hair: "Silly child, he’s in the kitchen with your mom learning to make tomato bisque."

Following Richard’s directions, July looked over and saw Kyle, wearing a white apron, busy at the stove under Laura Quinn’s guidance in the large open-plan kitchen of the estate.

Although he looked a bit ridiculous in that white apron, it instantly brightened July’s eyes.

"Go find him."

After all, she was his daughter, Richard could see through her thoughts at a glance.

Though he was a bit reluctant, he still let her go find Kyle.

After all, as parents, they couldn’t accompany July for a lifetime.

Finding someone who loves and cherishes July as much as they do, who can accompany her splendidly, isn’t bad.

At least after their passing, there’s no need to worry about July being all alone.

Besides, Richard actually envied the two of them for being able to love and guard each other so deeply.

Under his watch, July entered the kitchen.

Kyle and Laura were chatting and laughing with her.

After a while, Kyle, carrying the freshly made tomato bisque, left the kitchen with July.

The couple happily sat at the dining table and began to eat.

Meanwhile, Laura also took off her apron, planning to leave the kitchen.

Richard quickly stepped forward: "Laura, teach me how to make that tomato bisque."

Laura frowned.

"The couple is being lovey-dovey, why are you sticking your nose in?"

Indeed, Laura thought Richard wanted to learn the tomato bisque to make it for July and the baby in her belly.

Kyle did it, after all, the child is his, making more for the baby and July is his duty, plus it adds to their marital fun.

As for Richard...

With her and Kyle there, it’s not his turn to cook for July at all.

Yet as Laura prepared to bypass Richard and rest upstairs, she heard him say, "It’s not for July, it’s for you."

Laura’s steps suddenly halted, turned back and said, "Nonsense."

Was she pregnant, what was the point of making tomato bisque?

Of course, Laura knew Richard wanted to learn tomato bisque to make up for the regret of not being able to accompany her when she was pregnant with July.

But some regrets once formed are not easily remedied.

So after scolding Richard, Laura left without looking back.

Richard watched Laura’s departing figure without further argument.

But he didn’t give up the idea of learning tomato bisque.

Since he couldn’t learn from Laura, he figured he could surely learn from Kyle, right?

The next day, the two men appeared in the kitchen together to work.

But compared to Kyle, Richard was even less skilled at cooking.

After an hour of effort, they only made half a bowl of tomato bisque from a large basket of tomatoes.

Kyle, on the other hand, used five tomatoes to make a big bowl for July.

Shortly after, Kyle carried the bowl to find July.

Richard hesitated for a moment, then still carried what he made to find Laura.
