Chapter 358 - 336 This is His Own Decision
"Are you... going with him?" Yin Xiaojing asked. An’an shook her head blankly, "I don’t know yet..."
"Remember what I told you? Follow your heart, see what you really want."
An’an nodded thoughtfully, "What about the company’s matter? Does he have no way to go back?"
Yin Xiaojing shook her head regretfully. He has already decided, and he paid the penalty when he came to find you. He won’t step into that circle again.
Hearing this, An’an still felt it’s a pity. She always had thoughts of leaving the circle, so this didn’t affect her much. But he was so excellent and yet had to bury his talent because of this.
Seeing her guilty look, Yin Xiaojing comforted her, "Don’t worry, it was his own decision. Even without this incident, if you had chosen to quit, he wouldn’t have stayed either. Actually, all along, he’s been more tired of this circle than you, but he wanted you to fly in a pure sky, not experiencing the darkness. He never told you these, did he?"
An’an’s eyes turned red, and she nodded slightly. He never said these in front of her, and she never thought about these issues.
Yin Xiaojing sighed, "Think carefully, there’s not much time. I’ll go in and see him."
An’an nodded. Yin Xiaojing took a few steps then turned around and said, "Have you not been resting well these days? You look so pale."
"It’s nothing." An’an shook her head with a smile and walked to the other side with a water cup.
While standing in line in the tea room, the people in front of her suddenly started swaying, their voices becoming blurry. A buzzing sound emerged in her ears, her mind turned into chaos, and then everything went black...
"Oh no, this young lady fainted! Call a doctor quickly!"
"Young lady, wake up!"
...
"The discharge papers are done." Yin Xiaojing walked into the ward with a stack of forms. Su Yan had finished packing and was sitting in the wheelchair. He nodded lightly and, after a long silence, asked, "Is she better?"
Yin Xiaojing shook her head, "She hasn’t woken up yet. Are you sure you want to leave now?"
Su Yan sighed softly, turned his wheelchair around, "Pack it up, it’s almost time to board."
Hearing his answer, Yin Xiaojing didn’t say anything more, knowing that matters between them should be decided by them. There was little she could help with.
Having packed up most of the hospital stuff, Yin Xiaojing stood by the elevator. She couldn’t help but ask, "Won’t you go and see her?"
Su Yan looked at the rising numbers on the elevator. As it reached their floor with a ’ding,’ he slid his wheelchair in and said lightly, "No, let’s go."
...
"Look at that heartless person. An’an took care of him for so long, wore herself out, and now he’s leaving without even seeing An’an." The ward was filled with the old lady’s complaints.
Su Nian comforted her, "Mom, stop it. You’ll wake An’an. Let her sleep well."
The grandmother immediately looked at An’an on the bed with distress, "The food is getting cold. Let her eat when she wakes up and then sleep again."
"Mom, why don’t you go back first? I’ll stay here."
"Grandma..." While they were talking, a weak voice came from the bed. The old lady immediately sat by the bed, "An’an? My dear granddaughter, you’re finally awake. Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"
