On the airplane, it was pitch black outside the window, and the cabin was illuminated by dim yellow lights, casting shadows on Gu Qimiao’s face.Her eyelashes fluttered lightly as she slowly opened her eyes, looking at the man’s face against the light. For a moment, she couldn’t recognize him, but the scent at the tip of her nose was unfamiliar.

Lu Jinxi noticed her subtle movements, turned his head and looked, gently speaking: "Awake?"

Upon hearing his voice, Gu Qimiao’s eyes widened immediately as she sat up. Lu Jinxi tightened his grip, afraid she might fall due to her sudden movement.

"Where are you taking me? I want to go back!"
