While Jiang Ci was attending to Grandpa, Yin Xuemo said, "Alright, you're tired, let me take over."
Jiang Ci didn't think much of it and stood up.
Just then, Lu Yudong walked in.
Yin Xuemo's timing with her words was impeccable.
Seeing Lu Yudong reminded Jiang Ci of the awkwardness from the day they bought the computer.
He glanced at Grandpa, adjusted the IV drip to slow it down a bit, and then sternly said to Jiang Ci, "Come out with me for a moment."
Jiang Ci had no choice but to follow him out.
In the hallway, a bit further from Grandpa's bedroom, Lu Yudong had Jiang Ci stand against the wall.
"Why are you letting her do this kind of work?" Lu Yudong asked sternly.
Jiang Ci thought to herself: Why shouldn't she do this kind of work?
"When are we getting a divorce?" Feeling displeased, and still upset about the computer incident, Jiang Ci's tone was somewhat harsh.
Clearly, her question caught Lu Yudong off guard for a moment.
"You're eager for a divorce?" He frowned, looking at Jiang Ci, who seemed defiant despite being reprimanded.
"Yin Xuemo is already back, and I've moved out of the Lu Family home. I think divorce is inevitable. I just want to know the date, otherwise, I feel uncertain." Jiang Ci tilted her head up, avoiding looking at Lu Yudong.
"Oh, really? Do you have no idea why I let you move out of the Lu Family home? Or do you want to come back and continue earning money?" Lu Yudong's tone was quite mocking, "Oh, right, now that you have a computer, you're not short of money."
"For Shao Zheng, is it necessary? He's not even here anymore, what are you still holding onto? Why don't you mention how you peeked at my diary? A diary is my privacy, I'm going to sue you!" Jiang Ci looked directly into Lu Yudong's eyes.
"Go ahead and sue!"
Jiang Ci knew her little trick wouldn't scare Lu Yudong; he might even find it amusing.
She let out a "hmph" and turned her head to the side.
"Stay right there!"
"When are we getting a divorce?" Jiang Ci asked again.
"Just focus on being Mrs. Lu!" With that, Lu Yudong went back into Grandpa's room.
It seemed that Jiang Ci would have to remain "Mrs. Lu" for a while longer.
Probably until after Grandpa's passing, he would marry Yin Xuemo.
"Stingy!" Jiang Ci muttered softly after Lu Yudong walked away.
Unexpectedly, Lu Yudong stopped in his tracks and turned back.
"What did you say?" He asked Jiang Ci with a slight frown.
Jiang Ci lowered her head even more, "Nothing. You're really handsome."
Lu Yudong knew those weren't the words she had said, but he clearly didn't want to argue and left.
When he entered the room, Grandpa was already awake and asked Lu Yudong, "Where's Little Ci? Is she back?"
"She's back, outside."
"Quick, let her in." Grandpa eagerly gestured with his hand.
"Grandpa, I'll go get her." With that, Yin Xuemo went out.
Seeing Jiang Ci standing against the wall, a strange smile appeared on Yin Xuemo's lips, "He really treats you like an employee, huh? Go on, Grandpa's calling you."
Jiang Ci felt incredibly wronged, and with Yin Xuemo coming to call her, a sense of being excluded welled up inside her.
When Grandpa saw Jiang Ci, he immediately smiled, "Little Ci, you're back from your trip? You're not leaving again, right?"
Jiang Ci didn't dare to respond lightly and glanced at Lu Yudong.
"Right, she's not leaving. She's staying home."
"Oh, are you two having a separation? How long have you been married? Yudong, that's not right." Yin Xuemo patted Lu Yudong's shoulder with a familiar air, as if the state of Lu Yudong and Jiang Ci's relationship was up to her.

Out of gentlemanly manners and because it was hard to get a taxi at the Mid-Levels Villa, Lu Yudong went out with Yin Xuemo.
