Caden retreated back to his dormitory.

He had wasted enough time battling against the six Black Winged Trolls, he wasn't a fool.

He knew he could not achieve his goal in a span of a few hours.

He needed time.

He had already accomplished his goals by informing the Military faction and the Head Chancellor in his own twisted ways.

He knew legions will be equipped but they won't attack immediately, humans are cautious creatures.

This is the reason why Caden knew no attack would commence immediately, because during the day.

Apparently it wasn't just one figure who had entered his room, this was his initial suspicion.

But his draconic senses confirmed that two entities had once snucked into his dorm room.

One having the presence of a student, and the other, an indomitable presence that could not be rivaled.

He frowned "Just what the hell happened here?" He muttered, but he quickly dispelled those thoughts and went straight to his bed.

Even a dragon needs sleep.

He has only a few hours left before he will be summoned back to the first year's departmental building.

Hours went by and it was morning already, the morning sun enveloped the sky with it's brimming light.

Students, dressed in their uniforms were already making their way towards their academic buildings.

Meanwhile, Caden was still asleep.

A knock was heard on his door, Caden's eyelid twitched, he yawned softly, slightly tilting his head "Who is that?" He asked.

"Ah Caden, you're finally awake…..It's me, Rollins" a familiar voice was heard, Caden breathed in deeply.

He recognized Rollins voice.

Rollins, a third year student who was friendly with him since the beginning, even though he's currently ranked Number 3 in the third year's department.

Caden still respected him greatly.

It definitely wasn't easy for someone to achieve such ranking number in the third year department.

That depends on their primary cultivation.

"I'm coming" Caden yawned, he got down from his bed, making his way towards the door.

Seeing him, Rollins' white teeths shone with brilliant light, Caden shrugged, "What are you doing here, Rollins?" Caden asked.

Still smiling sheepishly "Can I come in?" Rollins asked.

Caden nodded "Yeah sure, you can come" Caden gestured, inviting Rollins into his dorm room.

Rollins walked into the room, his eyes scanning through the dorm room, he acted like he never snucked in last night.

He slightly tilted his head, staring at Caden with a warm smile "You asked why I came to visit you right?" He asked.

Caden nodded, his arms folded, Rollins lingered for a moment "Can't I visit my friend?" Rollins asked.

Caden scoffed "A friend huh? I don't think I have any friend" He said..

Rollins giggled "It seems you're quite antisocial, or probably introverted, who knows"

"But to me, I see you as a friend…..maybe you will realize it later that I'm your friend" He added.

Caden signed softly "Well that will be later then, I was sleeping when you woke me up"

"Is there a problem?" He asked.

Rollins shrugged "There's no problem, I never considered you to be a heavy sleeper, or did you went partying last night?" Rollins asked.

Caden yawned once again "I don't do parties, and besides I've been sleeping since, why would I go out?" Caden lied.

Hearing Caden's lies, Rollins inwardly smiled 'This is interesting, I guess I'll follow the orders and monitor you' He thought.

Rollins breathed in deeply "Well I must confess, I have a reason for coming here" He said..

In that moment, Caden's eyebrows furrowed "Please do tell"

Staring at Caden, Rollins chuckled "Why is the atmosphere suddenly so tensed? It really ain't much"

"Since you've been sleeping since, I guess you don't know much of what happened last night"

"For the first time, two legions will be making their way into the depths beyond the city walls" Rollins reported.

"Troops are being mobilized?" Caden raised an eyebrow, "Why?" He asked, acting like he had no idea what was happening.

Glancing at Caden's expression, Rollins answered "You must have heard of the mysterious kidnappings of those inhabiting the city"

"And there have been series of murders as well, our Head Chancellor believes it's connected to whatever is hidden beyond the city walls"

"After all, a region of the wall was broken during a mysterious invading, with dozens abducted"

"Right now, the City is currently flooded with dozens of investigations are being carried out"

"Since this also involves the Valor Royal Academy, there will be an official summit which involves the two well known factions"

"The Adminstrative faction and the Military faction, all three Number 0s are required to be present"

"And they're only allowed to bring two special advisors within their respective departments"

"I'll be going with the third year's Number 0, I was invited but before the summit begins"

"A meeting has been called, all three Number 0s will be having a private and you must bring along"

"Two trusted aides, this aides will follow you to the official summit" Rollins calmly asked.

Caden softly exhaled "Aides huh? I'm quite a loner to be honest" He said.

Rollins chuckled "Well I can see that, you have two days until the private meeting is called, and afterwards, the official summit will be held"

"You are only permitted to choose trusted aides ranked from Number 20 down to Number 1"

"I'll leave you to your sleep now" Rollins smiled, he was done relaying the news to the first year's Number 0.

Caden took a deep breath "Why are things so complicated?" He sighed, slightly tilting his head "Will you be free this evening?" He asked Rollins.

Rollins blinked, he was startled for a second "Sure, why?"

"Do you want to, perhaps….take me on a date?" Caden shrugged at that question, "I haven't even taken a lady on a date not to talk of a man"

"I don't know…..I might just be bored and want a sparring partner, since you're a Third year student"

"And Number 3 at that, you must really be strong" Caden explained.

Rollins giggled "Is that so? I feel honored hearing those words from a Number 0's mouth"

"Sure, I'm quite the lazy man and I have lots of free time so I'll entertain your sparring challenge"

Caden nodded "See you this evening then" And with that, Rollins left the dorm room, heading towards somewhere else.

Immediately the door was shut and Rollins had left his dorm room, Caden's face instantly fell.

Frey Blade emerged from his master's shadow dimension with a grin "It seems you've already figured it out"

Caden nodded "I really have, Rollins is the student who had snucked into my dorm room while I was away"

"And now I'm curious to know who exactly that mysterious powerful figure is" He approached the window, inhaling the fresh air.

"This is why I'll be getting close to Rollins, bring your friends close, and your enemies closer"

"Know yourself, know your enemy, and you' never be defeated" His lips curled into a dark grin.

He slightly tilted his head, he threw a glance at Frey, Frey raised an eyebrow "What?" He asked.

Caden giggled as he shook his head "No, it's nothing…..how is it going?" Caden asked.

Frey breathed in deeply "It's going perfectly, my shadow clone hidden in their shadow dimension haven't been exposed yet"

"But I must tell you, they're fastening the process as we speak"

"And also, it seems there's also a spy hidden deep in the chain of command, it may be a legion commander"

"It may be one of Darius's aides or it may be a professor"

"But one thing I do know is, they're aware of the incoming war, and they're also prepared"

"The war is inevitable" Frey reported.

Caden gave a curt nod, a lopsided grin spread across his lips "Good, this is exactly what I need"

"A distraction, they can handle the Black Winged Trolls for all I care, I'll be assasinating those Red Spies"

"And I'll make sure that abomination of a demon will never be summoned into this world"
