Chapter 52 52: The Hunt begins [1]
The hallway reeked with blood, tens of bodies littered across the scene, all drowned in their own pool of bloods.
"My my" A soft chuckle was heard, "This wasn't as easy as we thought it would be" A warm smile appeared on her lips.
Present in the dome shaped building, Crystal had dispatched a few of her avatars.
Those she was willing to sacrifice as a distraction.
There was no way General Augustus wouldn't notice the change in the atmosphere.
Each of her avatars possessed both her aura and her victims, making them fluctuate.
Someone like Augustus von Venus who had control over the Space Path would sense it.

A squadron unleashed by General Augustus were destroyed, and their deaths had quickly.
That didn't make it any less difficult for their killers.
Two identical individuals stood across the scene, all clenching tightly unto their grade 5 Fallen Relic.
They were both Crystal's avatars.
The first avatar glanced at her colleague, she grinned, "Have you stolen their Fallen Runes?" She asked.
The second avatar nods, "What do you take me for?" She asked, "Our main body needs all the power she could get, this is a war against the Regulator's Association after all"
"If we were any more powerful than this, we would be facing more than this" the second avatar sighed.
The Regulator's society had an unwritten law.
Fallen Regulators of the same ranks were meant to battle eachother, a Rank 6 Fallen Regulator should not be seen fighting a Rank 2 Fallen Regulator.
It goes against the Regulator's code of conduct.
This is why even though the Regulator's Association is currently under invasion, the main authorities wouldn't make a move.
The Association possess more than fifty titled Generals but only General Augustus von Venus was put in charge.
The others simply watched from the sidelines.
Crystal understood that, this is why she wasn't too nervous, but she knew she needed every ability she could get.
But why was that?
The answer was simple, Augustus von Venus would soon personally make his move.
He is a titled General who has watched from the sidelines already, very soon…..he will be permitted to unleash his full strength.
Crystal may be strong but a Rank 2 is a Rank 2 Fallen Regulator.
Even Rank 3 Fallen Regulators wouldn't dare to directly go against a titled General.

Sensing movements behind her, the first avatar swung her blade without care.
The air rippled as the grade 5 Fallen Relic tore through space itself, to their suprise.
That attack was quickly evaded.
The two avatars positioned themselves, for someone to evade that swift attack, he wasn't ordinary.
"What do you have here?" A voice questioned, it was a familiar voice the avatars recognized.
Their eyebrows furrowed as they spoke in unison "What are you doing here? Lenny Night!!" They questioned.
Lenny emerged from the shadows, his lips curled faintly "What am I doing here huh?" Lenny gently careesed his bushy curly hair as he lingered.
He shrugged, "Don't know, just wanted to have some fun" He answered.
The second avatar stepped forward, swinging down her blade "I thought we made a deal with you?"
"Why do you stand against the main body?" She questioned, Lenny stared at the second avatar who advanced towards him.
He sighed softly, "Like I said, I just want to have some fun" And he summoned the Sandel Crimson Dual Daggers.
His body glowed, emitting the deathly aura of a Rank 2 Fallen Regulator.
The avatars recognized this aura, they were unable to hide their startled expressions "You….you are Rank 2?" She questioned.
"Sure" Lenny chuckled, "Lets begin"

Crystal's main body stood at the entrance of the sealed training facility, observing the gigantic metallic doors.
Behind her stood six avatars, all equipped in their grade 5 Fallen Relics, all remotely controlled by Crystal.
But she reserved some of her wills in them.
Making them both sentient and manual controlled at the same time, they thought like Crystal.
Knew they were mere avatars, yet they serve their main body.
Crystal placed her hand on the metallic doors, gently careesing it "Is there something we must do?" One of her avatars asked.
Crystal slightly tilted her head, she glanced at the avatar who asked the question "No, not yet" Crystal shook her head.
"This is within my expectations, the Regulator's Association isn't some random organization"
"They existed for hundreds of years, governed by the Great Houses and supervise the top ten ranking Guilds"
"How could they have ordinary defenses?" She asked, her eyes flickered "They are watching me, observing me"
"To them, this is an interesting game"
"They know who I am so they would like to see if I'm truly capable of killing one of theirs" She giggled.
"And I'll show them that I'm definitely….." Crystal couldn't complete her statement when she slightly tilts her head.
Her eyebrows furrowed, "Two of my avatars has fallen" She whispered, she gritted her teeths "LENNY NIGHTT" She growled.
"That bastard has made his move huh?"
She turned her gaze back to the gigantic metallic doors, summoning her tether system.
She opened the dimension storage, and brought out a cerulean cubical shaped Fallen Relic.
It's grade unknown.
But it's emitting aura was far beyond a grade 5 Fallen Relic, Crystal took a deep breath.
She glanced down at the box which she held firmly, tears flowed down her cheeks, she cried.
Her hands quivered but she struggled to maintain herself, "I was warned by my elders, this Fallen Relic is cursed"
"It possessed the soul of a child of Shadows and her relative Fallen Runes"
She lifted her head slightly, "Only my main body could use it, avatars would simply be erased if they tried"
"This doors cannot be broken down, but can simply be bypassed and this will help me" She chuckled.
She tightened her grip on the cubical shaped Fallen Relic.
Crystal gritted her teeths, she could hear the whispers of the deceitful and malicious child of Shadows whose soul was trapped in that box.
It burned her tongue, and fried her brains.
But Crystal held on, in a split second….her avatars merged into her shadows and she opened a portal into a world known as the shadow dimension.
