The police officer said, "Well, if there's nothing else, we'll be leaving. You can call us if anything comes up."

The officers packed their things and prepared to leave. As they were leaving, one of the officers nodded towards Ling Zhenfei and said, "We'll be off then, Mr. Ling."

Ling Zhenfei replied, "Take care."

These two sentences left Big Beard stunned; he instantly realized what was happening.

When the police first arrived, they seemed intent on helping him seek justice, but after seeing Ling Zhenfei, they changed completely. Now he understood that Ling Zhenfei knew the police.

Big Beard was bewildered, but the police had already left, and they exited quickly, leaving in just a few steps.

Ling Zhenfei replied, "Today I'll give you a chance. If next time I see you again or hear that you've done anything to bully people, I promise you won't even know how you died."

Big Beard hurriedly nodded, "I dare not. I won't dare anymore. After work, I won't leave my house; I'll just stay at home."

Ling Zhenfei said, "What if there's noise from upstairs in the future?"

Big Beard said, "If there's noise, I'll consider it music. I'll wear headphones. Anyway, it's my own issue."

Ling Zhenfei nodded, "Smart move, now get out of here."
