Cotton meowed continuously and wagged its tail as if not wanting to linger here. Qi Chen and Dou Yanlan exchanged glances; they’re not unable to eat spicy food, but the situation here seems a bit off.

"Hmm, strange seasoning. Although intense, it’s not as strong in taste. Have they focused all its variation on the smell?"

Furrowing his brow slightly, Feng Yuan muttered under his breath, the scent gave him quite a shock upon entering the shop. As to whether it’s genuinely that spicy?

"Seems it’s specially arranged by Cha Mu Town. That place was originally just a vacant lot, and it’s a parking area. Others should see it at a glance when they arrive."

Nodding, Feng Yuan spoke while tasting the food on his tray. As expected, it wasn’t as spicy as he thought, though it might not be suitable for Xiao Ji and the others.

Seeing Xiao Ji beside him looking curious yet hesitating to try, Feng Yuan amusedly picked up a small piece of meat and offered it to Xiao Ji, saying

"Want to try? If you can’t handle it, just spit it out."

Unfortunately, there really wasn’t anything for them to eat in Yintian Village. As for whether Xing Bo would enjoy it, Feng Yuan couldn’t say for sure. Anyway, among his Spirit Beasts, only the Fluffy Fire Wolfhound’s attribute alignment allowed tolerating the spicy food.

At least, going by Feng Yuan’s observation, these seasonings are beneficial for Fire-Attribute Spirit Beasts, allowing the Fluffy Fire Wolfhound to endure the spiciness eating the food here. Of course, this also relates to the Fluffy Fire Wolfhound’s natural tolerance for spicy flavors.

Xing Bo, possessing both mystical and fire dual attributes, whether it can accept the spiciness here, Feng Yuan doesn’t know, but it should be better than Xiao Ji and the others.
