Chapter 1591  Meeting Alice and Lenavira!

"What will you do now?" the goddess asked, her voice gentle yet probing as she studied him.

Max looked at her with a faint smile that carried a quiet purpose. "Can you send me back to the mortal realm for a while?" he asked. "With your power, I assume something like that is not difficult."

The goddess gave a small nod. "It is not," she replied. With a simple motion of her hand, space in front of them began to ripple before tearing open into a radiant portal that shimmered with layers of shifting light. "This will take you directly to the world you ascended from. However, you must remember this. You will only have one day there. After that, the laws of the higher realm will pull you back to Orion."

Max rose to his feet, his expression calm yet resolute. "That will be enough," he said.

The goddess observed him for a moment longer. "So you are leaving already?"

Max nodded without hesitation. "This place is peaceful, but I still have things I must do."

At that very moment, a surge of energy flowed through his body. His aura trembled as his cultivation advanced once more, reaching the fifth level of the Law Awakening Realm. Even he felt a hint of surprise as he realized that the tea she had given him had been enough to push him forward by two entire levels.

The goddess seemed unsurprised, though her gaze softened slightly. "Be careful," she said quietly.

Max inclined his head, but before stepping forward, he paused as a thought crossed his mind. "Will we meet again?" he asked.

A faint smile appeared on her lips. "If you survive," she said lightly, "then there will be many chances for us to meet again."

Max gave a small nod, accepting her words without protest. Then, without looking back, he stepped into the portal.

The world around him twisted instantly. Space folded and stretched as an overwhelming force carried him across dimensions. In the next moment, his feet touched solid ground.

A dense forest greeted him.

Towering trees stretched endlessly in every direction, their thick canopies weaving together to form a ceiling of green that filtered the sunlight into soft, scattered rays. The air was rich with the scent of earth and leaves, and the distant sounds of wildlife echoed faintly through the surroundings. This was Acaris, the world he once called home.

Max stood still for a brief moment, taking in the familiar yet distant feeling of the place.

"Hmm? I am somewhere in the very far region of the Middle Domain away from the cities." Max muttered as his Dimensional Sovereign Body surveyed the surroundings.

Then, almost immediately, two powerful presences surged toward him.

Without even looking, Max knew who these two figures were and a bright smile appeared on his face.

Within seconds, the two figures appeared before him, their movements swift and urgent as they crossed the forest like streaks of light. The moment they saw him, both of them froze.

Alice's eyes widened, disbelief washing over her face as she stared at him. Lenavira stood beside her, equally stunned, her breath catching as if she feared that even a single movement might shatter the moment.

"It really is him…" Alice whispered, her voice trembling.

She turned slightly toward Lenavira, her emotions overflowing. "I told you I sensed it right. It was Max. He really came back to Acaris."

Neither of them hesitated any longer.

In the next instant, they rushed forward and threw themselves into his arms. Alice clung to him tightly, her composure breaking as tears streamed down her face, while Lenavira held onto him just as firmly, her body trembling with emotion.

"Max!" Alice choked out between sobs. "Do you have any idea how much we missed you?"

Lenavira did not speak at first, but her grip tightened as if she was afraid he might disappear again at any moment. When she finally found her voice, it was soft and unsteady. "We thought… we thought we would never see you again."

Knowing Max had ascended to Divine Realm, they had thought that the only way for them to see Max would be when they would ascend to the Divine Realm. But Max had clearly told them to not ascend and wait for him and so they did but their inner feelings told them Max might never return from the Divine Realm.

And now seeing Max truly returned brought both of them to the tears.

Max's expression softened as he wrapped his arms around both of them, holding them close. For a moment, he said nothing, simply allowing them to release everything they had held back for so long.

"I am here now," he said gently. "And I am not leaving you behind anymore."

The warmth of the moment lingered as the three of them stood together, reunited after what felt like an eternity.

After a while, Max pulled back slightly, though his hands still rested on their shoulders. His gaze turned firm once more, carrying the same determination that had led him here.

"I did not just come back to see you," he said. "I came to take you with me."

Both Alice and Lenavira looked at him in confusion.

"To the Divine Realm," Max continued, his voice steady.

Their eyes widened once again, but this time, it was not disbelief that filled them. It was something deeper, something that held both hope and uncertainty.

"Let's go and meet with others for one final time before we leave for the Divine Realm." Max said smiling. "It's been a while since I have seen them as well."

With that holding both Lenavira and Alice in his arms, Max flew towards the Middle Domain.

Far away, within the quiet and dreamlike space she resided in, the goddess watched the portal close.

Her gaze lingered where Max had disappeared, her expression thoughtful.

"What did the Dimensional Keeper truly do," she murmured softly, "that even fate itself chose to curse every inheritor of that legacy?"
