Chapter 713 709 – Foxes turned into carpenters?!

"The Demonic Foxes caught up on what you wanted to do, so they made a small contest to see who creates the best 'furniture'." Yu chuckled softly. She was very enthusiastic about this, since she never saw so many Foxes get together and just brainstorm ideas without trying to jeopardise each other.

As such she held Aiko on an even greater pedestal than before, one that could change anything if she so wished.

"Oh?" Moon Aiko was interested, but she didn't believe too many things would change.

Moon Aiko stepped outside only to see Foxes running left and right. She blinked her eyes a few times, trying to figure out what was happening.

So many enthusiastic Foxes, each running with parts of furniture.

Looking closely, those were different groups assigned to different things.

One group handled the most basic wood that you could find around here.

Another group handled processed wood.

The next group handled the carving of the wood and made it possible so that Qi could be naturally amplified.

Moon Aiko was shocked that they even had workshops already set up, with soundproofing Arrays and other things.

Moon Aiko rubbed her eyes a few times. "Aren't they overdoing it?" She asked Yu gently, but her voice was quivering.

"I think that's only natural?" Yu tilted her head. She didn't believe this was overdoing it, since everyone was having fun.

"..." Moon Aiko stopped questioning things, since it seemed like there was someone even bigger workaholic than she was. And not just that, she also worried that at this rate they might cause some deforestation!

Moon Aiko stepped outside completely and was noticed almost immediately.

The Foxes immediately swarmed her and dragged her away.

'What is happening now?' Moon Aiko couldn't keep up with everything and before she even blinked she was already behind a table with a row of waiting Foxes, each with their own furniture in their hands!

"Mei, isn't this supposed to be your place?" Moon Aiko felt like she was some kind of Queen, but this didn't really fit right with her. As such she called someone who fit this perfectly!

"Don't ask me, this is your mess." Mei chuckled, spreading her fan before walking away like she never saw anything.

"Tea?" Since every Fox was too busy with their things, Danji prepared some tea for Aiko.

"Yes..." Moon Aiko sniffled, it seemed like she would have to solve this problem herself.

"Have some snacks too." Mei reappeared out of nowhere and offered Aiko some snacks.

"What are you doing-" Moon Aiko wanted to ask her what she was doing here, but when she saw the icy expression trying to kill each other, she stopped herself. "Yes, I will take some..." Not only was she bothered by the row, but she also had to bear the brunt of their gazes, what an unfortunate fate...

Moon Aiko received the first piece of furniture, it was a small night table, with mild decorations that didn't immediately bash your eyes in, but enough that it was an impressive piece.

The Foxes immediately chatted between each other.

"We need a very large area if we want to test our ideas..." One Fox stepped forward to bring the bad news.

"Don't worry about it then." Moon Aiko waved her hand. She didn't expect anything to happen immediately, but it seemed like this army of Foxes would be the biggest gain that she ever gained.

Mostly because their intellect was unrivalled, now that they were not oppressed and abused.

Moon Aiko received several houses worth of furniture, a lot of which she liked, making it difficult to reject.

She didn't know what to do with it right now, but her tails had more than enough room for more things, so she would just store them for the time being.

The Foxes chatted as they dispersed, between them were even the abused Foxes. It seemed like they got used to being around normal Foxes again and some of them were even following the Demonic Foxes around.

Everyone was mingling with each other quite happily.

Moon Aiko sat down and inspected the furniture. There had to be some sense of logic behind everything. She simply refused the fact that she couldn't produce such things!

However, to her shock, the furniture was far from simple.

Not only did nothing repeat when it came to the engravings, but each one of them was very unique!

The amplification seemed to be about the same, so there had to be some kind of process behind it, but then again it might be some kind of other limitation, making poor wood?

'How am I supposed to test things when I have a lot of samples but no idea how they work!' Moon Aiko was frustrated, but it was not like she could run around and ask other Foxes, since she couldn't understand 'art'...

"You will get it eventually." Mei patted her back gently.

"I don't think so, this is kind of hopeless..." Moon Aiko pursed her lips.

"You have other strengths, so you shouldn't worry too much." Danji smiled gently as she handed Aiko even more sweet tea.

"Mmm..." Moon Aiko sniffled, but she felt better after drinking the tea.

"Well, with so much furniture we will be able to do a lot of things, but since it's low grade the effects are quite limited." Mei gently touched the furniture, feeling impressed by the 'art'.

"You mean the material or engraving?" Moon Aiko wanted to know a bit more about this.

"It's material, the engraving is good enough for higher grade wood, but since they only used wood from the surrounding forest, it was limited to the effects." Danji explained, since this was supposed to be her duty and not Mei's.

Moon Aiko nodded her head slowly. That would make a lot of sense, the engraving was different each time, so it made no sense that the furniture wouldn't be able to amplify the natural Qi in different amounts.

"So... Now the Foxes have turned into carpenters...?" Yuan came over, asking such a simple question, yet her brain was still unable to comprehend the situation.

"I wouldn't say carpenters..." Mei pursed her lips. It seemed like Yuan was not here for jokes, so she just kept quiet.

"I know that the Foxes are happy and have a lot of time, but what they are creating might make things difficult for us in the future." Yuan was concerned that in the future the Beast Sect would be raided just because of that furniture!

"Well, that's too bad." Mei had no intention of stopping them since their creations were simply insane.

They quite frankly bordered on Aiko's insanity, which could only mean one thing.

This would bridge the gap between the Beast Core sizes somewhat, but it could even earn them some special privileges.

Yuan could only sigh, since she knew that she couldn't control this group. She was just happy that they were not against her, since it would make things impossible to manage.

"If you want, you can take a few of them so it improves your life." Moon Aiko suggested, since she had too much furniture...

"I..." Yuan could only sigh again.

"I like this one." But Hui was very enthusiastic so she picked a few pieces.

"You-" Yuan was flabbergasted that even her partner joined this-

"What~?" Hui swayed her hips. "It's pretty sturdy..." She whispered into Yuan's ear.

Yuan could only groan, since her partner was insatiable.

"Just try to keep it clean..." Moon Aiko heard that, so she could only imagine what they would do from her previous experience.

"We are not doing anything with it!" Yuan shouted with a red face before dragging her partner away.

"How long do you think the furniture will last?" Moon Aiko curiously asked.

"I would give it a week, since the wood is not high grade." Mei chuckled, but she wished them the best.

"I would give it a bit longer, since it seemed like Yuan was unable to keep up with her." Danji had a different opinion about this situation.

"..." Mei couldn't deny that, since Yuan often complained about that...
