Moon Aiko chased after Mei in order for the biting to happen.

When suddenly, the sky parted and a harsh presence spread throughout the Fox Village.

"Is someone attacking us?" Moon Aiko's body was shaking, while Mei was no different.

"I knew she was powerful, but I never imagined this kind of suppression." Mei grimaced, but still chuckled happily.

If nothing went wrong they would be protected on this land and when they went over to the Beast Sect, they would have a much higher sway over things thanks to Dai Lu.

"You mean that this energy is from Dai Lu?" Moon Aiko felt that this went beyond scary, this was a downright diabolical amount of energy.

"You will have the same air once you reach nine tails." Mei chuckled again. She already experienced the pleasure of having many tails, but it just could not compare to nine tails.

The heightened sense, the sheer unadulterated power. It was a pleasure beyond imagination!

"Well, I wonder how long that will take..." Moon Aiko had either 4 tails or 8 tails, depending on how one counted it.

Moon Aiko didn't believe that if she gained another tail that she would give out the same dreadful presence Dai Lu was currently giving out.

Both of them slowly made their way to the Grandmaster's Peak, where she was consuming and refining that Pill.

Suddenly a familiar girl crawled out of a nearby bush. "I didn't think I would be sent flying..."

"Oh, it's you." Moon Aiko blinked at her.

"Yeah yeah." The girl waved her hand. She would just lay down somewhere else until everything passed, since she didn't get enough rest.

She didn't sleep for months, thanks to those bastards from the Delegation trying to court her, so she would have to catch up on her sleep now!

"And she is gone..." Moon Aiko was speechless at how quick the girl was when it came to sleeping.

"No matter, we should visit Dai Lu while we can." Mei chuckled. She wanted to see the manifestation of the nine tails, but they might not be able to get over that oppressive force of her sheer presence.

"It's the weight of one Soul?" Moon Aiko tilted her head, since her [Moon's Crust] was unable to block it, it must've been a psychic attack!

"Something like that, yes." Mei nodded her head. While it was not quite the pressure of one's Soul, it was quite close to it, so it was not wrong calling it like that.

"Sheesh, how are we supposed to get close?" Moon Aiko shook her head. She disapproved of this, since it would take her too much time to get used to this pressure.

"We might have to camp outside of her range..." Mei frowned. She would miss the manifestation, but at least she would be able to see them and research them later.

Dai Lu had near perfect tails, judging by the pressure, which would be a great boon to anyone who would be able to observe it closely.

That was also one of the reasons why Foxes in the Immortal World wouldn't let others touch their tails.

Their strength and knowledge was hidden in them and if you were able to get that knowledge, you would be able to know their weaknesses!

Of course, the Mortal World was not as advanced, so nobody would really be able to figure out the secrets inside those tails, but it would still be a good idea to tell Aiko about it.

"Yep, not moving further." Moon Aiko frowned when she noticed that her legs wouldn't take a step further.

"We made it quite the impressive distance." Mei smiled from ear to ear. It seemed like in this life she was a lot stronger than in her past life.

Well, that might be obvious since she has vast knowledge, but the difference in strength was startling.

"So we just sit it out?" Moon Aiko couldn't move, so she wouldn't be able to walk away.

"The oppressive pressure is not targeted, so we will be safe." Mei sat down and waited for Dai Lu to finish what she was doing.

"But seriously, this is too much." Moon Aiko grumbled. She wanted to at least lay on a bed to pass the time, but her body wouldn't listen to her.

'I wonder...' Moon Aiko gathered some Solar Essence, so why not test a few of her theories.

The heat suddenly radiated from Aiko as her body changed.

"Yay~! I'm back!" Sun Aiko hopped around, completely unbothered by the oppressive pressure.

Mei was dumbfounded, since she knew that Aiko couldn't move just a second ago. The only thing that changed was her colour and the ridiculous heat that she was giving off!

"Can you give me a break?" Mei sighed.

"Sure~" Sun Aiko hummed as she ran towards Mei.

She pulled out a bed and threw Mei on it.

"Now you can have a rest~" Sun Aiko also jumped towards the bed, but in the middle of that jump turned into that familiar White Aiko.

"Phew." Moon Aiko burned a lot of Solar Essence just for this brief moment.

She figured out that it might be either because her situation changed, or because Sun Aiko tried to fight against that pressure.

Either way, Moon Aiko was satisfied that she was now able to rest on a soft bed instead of the cold hard ground.

Mei breathed out. She never imagined that Aiko would use her other form just to make this bed and move them on it.

But thinking about it again, this was pretty much on par with what Aiko would do.

'It's a bit concerning that every colour has a different personality...' Mei would have to research it, since things might get out of hand once Aiko obtained her Human Body.

At that time some secrets would be revealed, which might cause issues down the line.

'Well, for now I don't have to mind it.' Mei was convinced that Aiko wouldn't be able to get Human Body any time soon, so there was enough time to move the whole Fox Village!

"I wonder how long this will last..." Moon Aiko narrowed her eyes.

"Until tomorrow, probably." Mei never heard of anyone recovering so many tails, so it might take more than just one day.

But at the same time, even if she took so long, it would only increase the defences that this place had.

There were still a few steps that they needed to solve before they could leave this place.

The rehabilitation zone was pretty much solved by Bin and Aiko, who were working hard in order to make everyone get along and open up.

Another part would be to store the different materials and train the Foxes so that they can effectively defend the continental flying ships.

Of course the training was up to Dai Lu, so they would have to wait for her.

"It's seriously dreadful." Moon Aiko pouted. She didn't like how her whole body was still shaking from Dai Lu's presence.

"Even if it's not targeted, you can feel her power from this." Mei smiled. "It is no harm to us as I said."

"I just don't like it, since I won't be able to rest with a shaking body." Moon Aiko sighed, the soft bed was nice, but if she couldn't enjoy it, she went through all that trouble for nothing!

"Congratulations." Mei knew that Dai Lu was not yet close, but she already said those words in advance.

"I didn't think you would be able to track me." Dai Lu appeared out of nowhere, stunning them.

It was unfortunate that her calm demeanour changed into tomboyish demeanour, but that couldn't be helped.

Dai Lu looked a lot different to before. Her most prominent features were shrouded, but Aiko was still able to make out most of them.

Her features were about 40 years younger. She was around the 27-28 years mark. Her hair was white with metallic undertones, but her actual energy was close to red.

That energy was not just her Qi, but the manifestation of her Sword Intent.

Her body was as always, busty, so much so that Mei didn't need to worry that her body would attract attention, since Dai Lu was more breathtaking.

The huge tails behind her amplified that feeling, since Foxes would gain wisdom and beauty as long as they aged and kept their tails.

"That is true." Dai Lu nodded her head seriously.

"What will you do now?" Moon Aiko was curious about what she would do, now that she had a healthy body and powerful presence.

"I will take a dip at the Southern Sect, for about two days, you don't mind, right?" Dai Lu glanced at her employer.

"I don't mind. I intend to pack things up by the end of this year." Mei narrowed her eyes.

"About 4 months?" Dai Lu nodded her head seriously.

"Oh, since you are going over to the Southern Sect, ask them if they still want to make the deal with the continental flying ship, so I know if I should set up one aside." Mei needed to know that, since that would directly impact how many resources she would be able to take.
