Chapter 667 – Hidden Elders
Chapter 667 – Hidden Elders
"Phew." Moon Aiko worked playfully with other Foxes until her stress levels were reduced to low enough margins that she no longer minded melting even more Treasures.
"This place is deep..." Moon Aiko looked above her and it was a very impressive hole.
*Clang*
One of the Muscle Foxes encountered something incredibly hard, making everyone turn around.
The 'clang' was so loud that even Mei from above looked down.
"Did you find anything?" Mei shouted down.
"There is something hard, and it's not stone." Muscle Foxes shouted back.
"Dig around it, we hit the treasure trove." Mei shouted back down again, before cleaning her resting place and jumping down with the others.
"Treasures?" Moon Aiko asked Mei with sparkling eyes. It was obvious that she was doing much better than before.
"Yes. Elders that were behind the Treasure Pavilion took the Treasures and hid here." Mei chuckled sinisterly.
When the Foxes heard those words, they immediately doubled down and kept digging even faster.
They were so fed up with the previous managing bastards, that they wanted nothing else, but to make them suffer.
Mei was happy about their vigour, so she hugged Aiko.
"I wanna dig..." Moon Aiko immediately pouted. She wanted to get those Treasures.
"You can dig later." Mei wanted to spend some time with Aiko, who was so vigorously digging.
"Fine..." Moon Aiko rolled her eyes and puffed up her cheeks like a pufferfish.
"I will feed you something nice, so just stay still." Mei chuckled. She had to placate Aiko before she tried to bite her.
"I will bite you if it's not tasty." Moon Aiko proclaimed while watching over the digging.
Soon a large 'box' was 'dug out', the other sides were likewise exposed.
"Now we need to seal the space." Mei turned towards the dirty Chen Shi.
"So much work." Chen Shi was quite tired from the digging.
"You were the one that wanted to dig it out." Mei shrugged at him.
"I didn't think it would be so hard without using any Qi." Chen Shi groaned. He still thought this was the perfect idea on how to capture them, but he didn't expect it to be so difficult to accomplish.
Most of them were so used to using Qi for everything that they never really trained their 'mortal' bodies.
And that's also why most Human Cultivators are like sticks...
...
Chen Shi set up the Formation that restricted the space.
Now those inside would not be able to come out, but the expanded space inside would also not shrink even if it was damaged.
It was double insurance, just in case those inside wanted to self-destruct.
The Muscle Foxes brought pickaxes and waited for the signal to start digging the walls.
-----
"How long do you think it will take them before we can leave?" The first Elder was already bored inside their safe haven.
"Don't ask me, it depends on what they will do." The second Elder shrugged. He had a lot of problems on his plate, so he couldn't care less about what was happening outside.
"Another win for me~" The third Elder giggled. She was happy to scam these fuckers off of their Treasures with card games.
"Dammit! See what you did?!" The second Elder shouted at the first Elder.
"What did I do?!" The first Elder glared back at the second Elder.
They kept playing and bickering like this when-
*Clang*
"Hm? Did you hear that?" The first Elder asked them.
"Heard what?" The second Elder was too annoyed to hear anything.
"You are just hearing things." The third Elder rolled her eyes. "How about you join us instead?" She giggled mischievously.
"If I can get a piece of you." The first Elder shamelessly proclaimed.
"Only if you can win." The third Elder didn't mind such a challenge, since she knew she wouldn't lose.
...
A few dozen games in the Elder was frustrated for constantly losing. They knew that the third Elder did something, but unless they knew what it was they couldn't call her out for it.
Their pride was too big for them to admit that they were cheated in a card game.
*Scrape Scrape*
*Thunk Thunk Thunk*
"Do you hear that?" The first Elder immediately perked his ears, trying to distract them, but when he noticed that those noises were not an illusion he stiffened.
"I can hear it..." The second Elder was flustered, while the third Elder immediately rushed to teleport out.
"Huh..." The third Elder started to shake. "T-the space is sealed!" She shouted while almost crying.
"You are such a scaredy Fox." The first Elder clicked his tongue.
*Crack*
The wall finally caved in, revealing Muscle Foxes with bulging muscles and pickaxes in their hands.
"Who dares to disturb our rest." The first Elder put up a strong front, but he was quite flustered about the current situation.
"That would be us." Chen Shi was the first one to step in, since he was controlling the Runes around this place.
"We are here for Treasure~" Moon Aiko stepped in just behind him with Mei and others.
"I will rip your shitty heads." Yuan was the most livid, since she was suffering just because of these cunts!
"Eeeeek." The third Elder immediately hid behind the furniture. Only the two of them knew what happened between them...
"Let's stay calm-" The second Elder tried to placate the situation, but Moon Aiko already dashed in to scourge the location.
"Everything is a Treasure in here~" Moon Aiko hummed as she ran around.
The first Elder tried to catch her a few times, but she just dodged to the side, or picked up a few Treasures and threw it against the ground to slow him down.
"This one is useless." Moon Aiko threw another one. She had no use for these useless vases and chairs if they didn't improve anything properly.
They just either shined during the night or had raised durability, which both were pretty useless.
"Are there no good Treasures?" Moon Aiko looked around before spotting the Elders' fingers.
"Give me your fingers!" Moon Aiko wanted those Spatial Rings for herself!
"No!" The Elders were immediately flustered and entered combat mode.
"Restrain them." Mei said seriously. She didn't want to kill them just yet, so that Aiko could take their Souls.
With more Souls at their disposal, everything would be much smoother than before!
Yuan was the first one to dash in. She dodged the two Elders and went after the third Elder.
"Eeeek!" The third Elder ran away from her. "I'm sorry, alright!"
"You think sorry will cut it?! I will have your head!" Yuan chased after her, not minding the destruction.
"You horny hag! Leave our Treasures alone!" The two Elders chased after her, trying to stop her.
"..." Moon Aiko looked at them. "Where do I get to chase someone...?"
"There there..." Mei also didn't believe what she was seeing.
"But chasing others is my job..." Moon Aiko felt sad that they excluded her from this fun.
"You will have to wait for that." Mei said seriously, since she felt something was off with Yuan.
The Elders tried to catch up, but those two were on another level.
"I will skin you alive! To think you would betray me like that!" Yuan was absolutely livid. At first, she believed that her partner was caught in the crossfire, but to think she would be here all safe and sound!
"Eeeek! I already told you I'm sorry! I needed those Spirit Stones!" The third Elder cried out.
"Then take them to the grave, you bitch!" Yuan was mad, since she had to sell so many important Treasures just to keep this place going.
Not only were those so-called Array Foxes shite, but they drove the maintenance fees through the roof, making her even more mad than before!
"I will have your head to appease my anger!" Yuan yelled at her.
"So..." Moon Aiko watched from the sidelines as Mei handed her some snacks. "They have history, huh?"
"Seems like it." Mei didn't really care about those things, so it was startlingly surprising.
"They are actually companions. At first, they joined hands just to keep the mainland in check, so that they wouldn't extort as many resources." Dai Lu explained what happened.
"What happened in the middle?" Moon Aiko was not all that curious, but she wondered what went wrong.
"The third Elder wooed her in order to get more resources." Dai Lu was very brief and to the point, angering even Yuan with that description.
"That's not true! Why are you leaving things out!" The third Elder cried even more as she was dodging the angry Yuan.
"What's more there to say? That you were deceived by the mainland and made you to do all this, believing that your sister was still alive?" Dai Lu spat disdainfully. The reason she was doing all the negotiations was because she could read their minds and know what they were up to.
That's also why all Sects feared her influence, since they wouldn't be able to pull any bullshit tricks.
"That's not true! She is still alive- Eeeek!" The third Elder defended her point, but when Yuan effortlessly broke the ground next to her, she started to run for her life again.
"See?" Dai Lu gestured. "She is really stupid Fox, but she was not like this before." She sighed softly.
Moon Aiko nodded her head. "Is that why they went-" *Clap Clap*
She made naughty sounds with her hands, making everyone cough awkwardly.
"What's wrong?" Moon Aiko tilted her head. "Don't tell me they didn't go at it like-" *Clap Clap*
Now everyone almost choked at her 'demonstration', making even Mei embarrassed.
"Sit down, hands into the pockets." Mei pinched Aiko's thigh in order to stop her eccentric behaviour.
"Auchie..." Moon Aiko pouted and sat down.
Mei handed her some more snacks to keep her quiet, since it would end in disaster if she kept going like this.
"But seriously, why can't they take it into the bed?" Moon Aiko uttered, making even Yuan stumble.
"Aiko!" Yuan glared at Aiko.
"What's up, horny Fox?" Moon Aiko tilted her head.
"I'm not horny!" Yuan screamed at her.
"Let's see..." Moon Aiko observed her. "Red face, unstable breathing, grubby hands..."
She clapped her hands. "Yep, you are horny." Moon Aiko gave her the seal of approval.
*Crack*
Yuan's forehead turned into a tentacle monster, scaring Aiko.
Moon Aiko immediately hid behind Mei, not wanting to go out of there...
