Chapter 660 – The Seer is cute, can we keep her?
Chapter 660 – The Seer is cute, can we keep her?
Moon Aiko alongside Mei, handed over the necessary Pills to recover her body. Moreover, Moon Aiko watched over her, just in case she didn't want to eat them.
'So, how about we have that talk now.' Moon Aiko glanced at her system.
[Very well.]
It readily agreed to explain.
[Let's mention the Pills first. How Divination works is that you give some of your information over in order to obtain another piece of information. The more accurate and important the information the bigger the cost.]
['Information' is a state of being. Old Divination Cultivators used that to erase harmful 'information' from their bodies in order to prevent diseases, poisons and even Spiritual Root conditions.]
[The [Netherworld Vitality Pill] doesn't really help in this case, since it would only restore her vitality to parts of her body that were not already destroyed.]
[However, everything changes with [Netherworld Vitality Pill+]. It not only restores her vitality, but it also restores the cracks within her 'information'.]
[These filled up cracks are not perfect as they are completely empty or filled by the element that helped her. In this case that would be the Comprehension Tree.]
[First Comprehension Tree was a Sage that accumulated so much knowledge that the Way of the Heaven turned him into something that could benefit everyone. With his permission, of course, since we are talking about a very old age of time.]
[Over time more and more Comprehension Trees popped- Wait, this is not history lesson.]
[The Comprehension Tree and especially its leaves have a lot of 'information'. This 'information' allows you to reach the Enlightenment State. In which everything would be easy to do.]
[As she is missing important 'information'. The Comprehension Tree Leaves could fill up those gaps, but they would not stay like that for a long time and would deteriorate again, but that's where the second component comes in.]
[The poison inside the Pill and the immeasurable Vitality blooming from within, allows the erosion around the cracks, filling it up again and rejuvenating it. Making it a permanent healing.]
[Of course, the issue still stands. While the Poison can be dealt with, with the small 'Divinations' that she is doing. The replacement of information is difficult as she will have to experience new and foreign things and feelings in order to overpower the Comprehension Tree's influence.]
Moon Aiko listened to this, feeling quite enlightened on how it worked.
'But she won't be able to recover her damaged 'information', right?' Moon Aiko tilted her head slowly.
[That is correct, but it's better to be completely forgotten.]
'Huh?' Moon Aiko blinked her eyes.
[Once your 'information' is erased, nobody will remember you and you will cease to exist. Even the most powerful individuals won't be able to do anything. That includes us too...]
'...' Moon Aiko vowed to never Divinate in her life, just in case.
[That is so like you, Princess...]
Moon Aiko could vaguely feel them chuckle, but it was quite the depressing chuckle.
'So, why do you want to save her so much as to give me this much information?' Moon Aiko tilted her head.
[We want the past to not repeat itself. A Divination of her calibre is rare, and much more if she was able to pass the judgement of the Way of the Heaven.]
[The same thing will happen to you. You will be judged by the Way of the Heaven, in order to be able to start making Immortal things.]
[Being judged early will make it so that you have a higher talent ceiling than others.]
'But why does it feel that the Way of the Heaven is another jerk?' Moon Aiko didn't like either of them, but she still disliked the Heavenly Dao more.
[You and your associates won't be judged by the Way of the Heaven in this place. You have no need to worry. As long as you have accomplishments, you can pass it easily.]
'Then how about getting into the Immortal World?' Moon Aiko narrowed her eyes.
[Just... don't break the doors, okay?]
'Hmpf, I will see about that.' Moon Aiko pouted.
The Seer munched on those horrible Pills, feeling her body recovering, but her main attention was on the strange Fox.
She would have to offer multiple lifetimes in order to just take a glimpse at her fate and even that would be incomplete information.
Feeling puzzled and fascinated, she observed the myriad of emotions that changed on the Fox's face.
"What is it?" Moon Aiko turned towards her, since she felt a gaze on her.
"Nothing." The Seer lost most of her tails, which was unfortunate, since she knew that that Fox liked to sleep inside the tails for comfort.
"Btw, what are those translucent tails behind you?" Moon Aiko tilted her head.
"Pardon?" The Seer was confused.
[In simple terms, that is the 'information' that was robbed from her.]
'Why can I see it then?' Moon Aiko rolled her eyes.
[You will know the reason soon.]
'You could've just said: Because you are the Princess. You know?" Moon Aiko pouted at that lacklustre response, she really hated it when this happened, but... That's old folk for you.
"Want some too?" The Seer mischievously pursed her lips.
"Oh, I wanted to ask you why you looked like this." Moon Aiko immediately changed her topic, like she never heard that question to begin with.
"Pardon?" The Seer tilted her head.
"Your body is very different to other Foxes." Moon Aiko observed, but the more she observed, the more her body became beautiful for some reason.
"It's the complete [Beast-Human Unity Body]." The Seer explained, since she already reached high enough Cultivation in the Human Body Path and the Beast Body Path to be able to unite them together.
"Is it like an Evolution?" Moon Aiko didn't know what that meant.
The Seer gently shook her head. "No, it merely allows you to use Human and Beast techniques no matter which body type you have."
"Wait, how does that explain anything?" Moon Aiko felt that the Seer was trying to bully her for ignoring that question.
"It doesn't. I'm just messing with you." The Seer giggled naughtily. It was very nice to talk with someone that wasn't filled with lust to the brim.
"Hey!" Moon Aiko pouted, wanting to scold her, but remembering she was a patient she held back.
The Seer giggled expecting this reaction.
"That is because I was able to finish the [Pseudo-Human Body]." The Seer smiled wryly, since that was the reason they wouldn't allow her to leave this place.
Completing the [Pseudo-Human Body], would give them a major boost whenever they changed forms from Beast to Pseudo-Human. This would allow them to win fights a lot easier than just relying on their own powers.
It also allowed for much greater precision in both bodies as it would allow you to get closer to the [Beast-Human Unity Body].
"No human ears?" Moon Aiko found that weird.
"I don't like them since they can't hear as well as Beast ears. Moreover, once you reach my stage your true ears won't be as sensitive to sharp noises." The Seer explained.
"So it's a preference thing?" Moon Aiko nodded her head.
[It's not just that, she is starting to form the [Fox's Pearl].]
"Fox Pearl?" Moon Aiko titled her head and the Seer stiffened, immediately being on guard against her.
"What is that?" Seeing her reaction Moon Aiko asked her, but sensing her emotions it wouldn't seem like she would get the answer from her.
[[Fox's Pearl] is a special compression of all knowledge and 'information' inside your body.]
[We have not noticed this before, but it seems like this was one of the things that allowed her to survive the judgement.]
"So, important stuff." Moon Aiko nodded her head.
[You usually get it only in the Immortal World, since information is limited in Mortal Worlds.]
"Whoa, you are amazing!" Moon Aiko's eyes sparkled. She wanted to see how that thing looked, but she wouldn't pressure a patient for it.
The Seer had complicated emotions. One would usually hunt Foxes for this as they would be able to gain an easy Enlightenment State and several times at that.
As such it was a very sought after commodity and even the shitty Elders didn't know about it.
"How did you know...?" The Seer didn't know what to do about this situation, since she felt too vulnerable.
"The system told me." Moon Aiko nodded her head like it was a normal thing.
The Seer starry eyes flickered as information flooded her mind.
"That's..." The Seer was quite close to Aiko. "Cheating..." She pouted as she pinched those supple cheeks.
"But useful." Moon Aiko flashed a clumsy smile, since her cheeks were being pulled.
"Most would kill to have something that can show them their progress as way too many Cultivators overestimate themselves." The Seer shook her head.
"Then how about joining us~? You can get the benefit of the system too." Moon Aiko smiled mischievously, while thinking how those Demonic Foxes chanted: One of us. One of us.
"I don't think that's a good idea..." The Seer had very low resistance against beauty and since Aiko's surpassed the Mortal World standards it would make it difficult to not jump on her.
"Why not? You don't have to be shy." Moon Aiko smiled, trying to nudge her to join them.
"There is an eccentric Fox that doesn't like me." The Seer met Mei's eyes as she snorted unhappily and turned away.
"You don't have to mind her." Moon Aiko shooed Mei, making her stumble from her standing position. "She is still grumpy from her sore body."
"I'm not grumpy!" Mei shouted at the bratty Aiko.
"But you don't deny it's sore~" Moon Aiko hummed mischievously. It seemed like she would have to balance her energies again as all of her personalities were over each other.
"Ugh!" Mei blushed, wanting to scold Aiko, but at the same time she was too embarrassed to do it in front of this 'Seer' Fox.
Moon Aiko chuckled, seeing Mei not trying to scold her.
"I quite like her, can we keep her?" Moon Aiko hugged the Seer and rubbed her cheek against hers.
The Seer was not used to this kind of affection, so her eyes spun around, not knowing what to do.
"You just want to keep her because you know that I will have a hard time scolding you in her presence!" Mei immediately called out Aiko on her bullshit.
"Damn straight!" Moon Aiko cackled back.
