Chapter 572: Colors Beyond Hell
Chapter 572: Colors Beyond Hell
And it was at that moment, in that high-dimensional gaze down upon the lower dimension, that his eyes pierced through the sky-darkening black mist and looked toward the highest heavens above that hell.
It was like clearing clouds to reveal the sun, the fog vanishing completely.
But in that single instant,
an indescribable frenzy rushed into his consciousness before he could even clearly make out anything.
His pupils dilated at once, and his brain thundered into blankness.
His awareness nearly fractured in a split second.
“That is…”
He was stunned.
Then the high-dimensional space suddenly shattered, and both his and Silver Fantasy’s bodies collapsed as they were expelled from that domain.
Only as they departed did he faintly catch a glimpse of that high sky — beyond hell, in that endless chaotic void — the chaotic colors that had obscured the firmament…Crunch—
Space tore apart.
In a blood-red corridor inside the Flesh Leviathan, Lynn and Silver Fantasy’s bodies were violently hurled in.
Silver Fantasy rolled once to absorb the impact, lifted her head, eyes sharp and alert as she quickly scanned their surroundings.
Lynn, however, was not so lucky. The massive impact slammed him into the thick Flesh Walls, his bones cracking and popping loudly throughout his body.
“We've arrived.”
Silver Fantasy turned and coldly looked at Lynn, who had been thrown against the wall.
But she immediately saw blood continuously dripping from his eyes, as if he had suffered a severe trauma during the dimensional descent.
Silver Fantasy narrowed her eyes and asked, “What’s wrong with you?”
Lynn rolled to his feet like a carp flipping, tilted his head back, and groped in the dark to find a handkerchief to wipe the blood from his face.
“Nothing, my eyes popped, I’ll do a quick operation.”
Under Silver Fantasy’s monster-like stare, he sat cross-legged in a flash, tilted his head back, then expertly used tweezers to remove the shattered eyeballs and place them in a small vial. He poured some alcohol into his empty eye sockets to disinfect them, then—

After replacing his eyes, Lynn adjusted the focus, pressed his temples hard, and recovered his sight once more.
“All set.”
Silver Fantasy was astonished.
Lynn stood swiftly, put his ruined eyes into the glass vial, dripped some of his own blood onto them to let them regenerate in their own time, then exhaled and pondered:
“Seems like things you don’t understand can’t be stared at head-on. Luckily it was only both eyes that blew…”
The chaotic scene beyond hell flashed through his mind again.
His head had nearly exploded.
But strangely,
after the dimensional drop, that chaotic feeling in his head quickly faded.
If it had persisted, it would have been far more than just losing a pair of eyes.
Silver Fantasy appraised him from head to toe for a long moment, trying to figure out what kind of freak he was. Even among the creatures of the Flesh and Blood Cult, she rarely saw someone who could swap body parts as easily as changing batteries—plugging and unplugging at will.
“If you’re ready, we should move quickly.”
Silver Fantasy turned, expression calm, and beams of light shot from her eyes to construct a holographic, three-dimensional model of the Flesh Leviathan before them.
“During the time we used to ascend dimensions just now, I memorized the internal structure of this Leviathan. Our current location should be here.”
She tapped the tail end of the Leviathan projection with her finger.
The image immediately zoomed in,
revealing the location of the corridor where they stood.
Silver Fantasy quickly adjusted and refined the entire map, then looked up and said,
“The Plague Doctor’s position is in the first chamber of the head. The Flesh Plague is largely stored in Chambers 2, 3, and 4 — those form the Leviathan’s main body. Besides that, the Leviathan’s interior is filled with many Plague Doctors and flesh creatures. So the best route for us is…”
She flicked her finger.
A route cutting through the three major regions straight to the head instantly appeared on the three-dimensional map.
“Follow this route and we can systematically destroy all plague storage points along the way, then reach the head and decapitate that Plague Doctor. Understand?”
She then turned to Lynn.
The moment she looked at him, her awareness trembled and a trace of anger slipped into her eyes.
[ Ding! Silver Fantasy’s Affinity toward you -10 ]
Lynn was tilting his head back, holding eye drops, carefully squeezing them into his eyes little by little. Whether he heard her plan or not was something only he could answer.
“Did you even listen to me?!”
Silver Fantasy forced down her fury.
Lynn rubbed his blurred eyes. As his vision regained its sharpness, he put on his Monocle, adjusted it, and smiled slyly:
“So you mean you want the two of us to fight head-on through the Leviathan, sweep away all the Plague Doctors, and casually claim the completion reward, right?”
Silver Fantasy’s voice was icy: “What do you mean?”
Lynn tapped his temple and grinned: “Come on, think for a second. Without absolute strength, charging head-on in someone else’s territory isn’t a plan, it’s stupidity.”
Lynn rose slowly and put on his Plague Doctor Mask.
“My suggestion is we avoid direct conflict whenever possible. Sneak when we can, hide when we must, bypass where feasible. After all, we’re here to behead someone, not wage full-scale war.”
Silver Fantasy’s tone remained cool: “Is that so? Let me be frank, from the moment we stepped inside, every sensory cell here has been aware of our presence.”
“Maybe every move we make is under that Plague Doctor’s gaze. In that case, how do you propose hiding?”
Gradually,
the Flesh on the surrounding walls wriggled at a speed imperceptible to the naked eye.
The intense sensation of being watched grew stronger with every passing moment.
From afar,
a series of heavy footsteps could be faintly heard approaching.
Clearly,
just as Silver Fantasy had said,
they couldn’t hide at all here — every piece of flesh was a Leviathan eye.
The footsteps grew closer, and the two of them still stood opposed. Silver Fantasy stared icily at him: if the two couldn’t agree under circumstances like this, there was no point talking about any action at all.
“Found them!”
In the next instant, a loud shout came from the deepest darkness of the corridor.
In that split second,
countless sounds of tearing through the air erupted.
Almost at the same time, Lynn smiled, adjusted his mask, and said to Silver Fantasy:
“No, Madam, actually there’s no way to hide. Only you can.”
