Creepy Pharmacist: All my patients are scary!

Chapter 352: Meow Meow’s Bloodstained Memories

Chapter 352: Meow Meow’s Bloodstained Memories

Lynn stared blankly, listening to her sleep talk. In that instant, a vivid scene seemed to flash through his mind.

A raging inferno, an endless stream of pursuers.

That puppet, relying on its reality warping ability, desperately fleeing with the only one still alive—her.

She told her to stay put, that she would go draw the pursuers away.

She said she would definitely come back.

She told Miaomiao to wait there for Mommy.

But day after day, she waited for nothing. All that came was withering and wandering.

Was that how it was?

Lynn gazed at the one bloody, cruel photo after another scattered on the floor, noting the traces of cursed arts lingering on them.

Did that woman cast a curse, veiling her eyes? These were both evidence of that tragic experience.

And yet, she didn't want her to be tormented by these brutal memories.

So, she gave her this beautiful lie instead?

Or perhaps, she always had Miaomiao carry these photos, hoping that one day, someone might discover the truth within them, so this tragic experience would no longer be buried in that black shadow…

Was she, in this way, hoping that someday, Miaomiao might find that faint glimmer of redemption and hope in this Dark World…

Lynn took a deep breath.

But this is the Dark World. This is hell.

Light itself is obscured by thick clouds, so how could one find hope in these deep waters?

However…

Lynn closed his eyes, slowly extended a paw, and pressed it against his own chest.

As white light swirled, he activated his Curse Purge ability for the second time. His body rapidly elongated and transformed, gradually restoring his human form.

He opened his eyes, the light within them becoming exceptionally resolute.

He was about to do something very risky and very cruel.

He was going to wake her up.

He was going to make this child directly confront the suffering of her past, to awaken those sealed and forgotten memories.

Because to truly heal…

One must face it.

Because running away never solves the problem.

It only brings temporary peace, but the scars deep in your heart will still, every single night, continuously drag you back into pain.

If that's the case…

Lynn reached out his hand.

He gently dripped [Self-Binding Angel's Mercy] into her mouth.

While this potion couldn't purge the curse, consuming it could still effectively suppress the curse's effects for a short time.

Wake up.

Miaomiao.

It might be painful, unbearable for you.

But I believe you can get through it, because… aren't you still looking for your Mommy?

If that's the case, then how can you forget?

As the potion dripped down.

Wisp after wisp of golden light slowly rose from her body. Her eyelashes fluttered faintly, and her open eyes gradually regained their luster.

A long time passed.

Miaomiao stirred in confusion, rubbed her eyes, and slowly climbed up from the floor. She looked around blankly, her gaze finally settling on Lynn, who sat opposite her, wearing shorts.

"Huh… Doctor, sir, what happened to me, meow?"

Lynn looked at her quietly and said:

"Can you remember nothing at all? Miaomiao."

Miaomiao scratched her head in confusion. "Re… remember? Did… did Miaomiao go berserk again, meow?"

Lynn said nothing.

Miaomiao stared, muddled and puzzled, at the strange doctor opposite her. Then, her gaze subconsciously fell on the messy array of photos scattered on the floor nearby.

"Huh? Miaomiao's photos?"

Curious, she patted her empty bag, then extended a small paw, about to reach for the photos scattered on the floor.

But just before her paw could touch those photos.

She froze.

Her eyes reflected the bloody, brutal scenes within those photographs.

*Bzzz—*

Her body trembled violently.

The nails on her paws shot out almost instinctively.

"That's…"

Her face slowly paled. The bloody images on those photos, one after another, flashed through her pupils like movie clips.

"Ah—"

In an instant, a wretched, heart-wrenching scream seemed to echo from the deepest recesses of her memory, resounding in her mind.

It was as if a heavy darkness suddenly pressed down.

As if the scenes in the photos suddenly sprang to life.

Sharp blades.

The glaring light of the operating table.

Pale surgical masks.

Cold chains.

The splatter of blood piercing skin and the sharp, mournful cries.

"AH!!!"

Miaomiao instantly clutched her head, threw it back, and let out a sharp, tearing scream.

Her pupils trembled wildly.

She saw the scenes in those photos moving. She looked up, as if suddenly transported into that rust- and blood-stained room.

She saw the walls bleeding. She saw the sharp, blood-drenched chains hanging down from the ceiling.

She looked up and saw the hollowed-out mother pierced by wires, saw the trembling eyes of the father beside her whose face had been scooped out, his innards writhing, saw the twitching nerves and blood vessels of the brother stripped of flesh, reduced to a skeleton.

She also saw the flowing flesh and blood on her own body.

"No! No… NO!"

Her face was filled with terror.

She saw the flash of the camera opposite.

Saw the huge vertical eye and tentacle blood symbol on the wall.

Saw the pale raven mask and sharp, metallic fingers, saw the twisted, satisfied smile on that flesh monster's face.

She was bleeding.

Her body was bleeding nonstop.

Family.

Falling.

Cutting.

"MOMMY!! MOMMY!!"

Her heart-rending scream drove her nails deep into her own skull.

It was like plunging into an abyss, like being submerged in an icy sea of blood, instantly losing all warmth, leaving only bone-chilling cold and despair.

Like a young beast desperately seeking its mother's protection in utter despair.

As if something was being peeled away, bit by bit, from the deepest recesses of her mind, like a sharp knife slowly prying open the deepest scar.

Those memories raged wildly, as if trying to traverse the vast river of time to drag her back into that icy hell once more.

"Don't be afraid."

Lynn reached out and pulled her into his embrace, his gaze fixed firmly on those blood-like photos.

"It's okay. You're safe now. No one can hurt you now."

"Those are nightmares of the past. Don't fear them, Miaomiao. You've remembered something, haven't you?"

Lynn held her tightly.

A holy glow emanated from his entire body, striving to dispel the chill in her heart, to give her comfort.

He knew this was cruel.

But he had to do it.

No one else could heal her, because those were fears buried in the deepest recesses of her heart.

And to walk out of that shadow, she could only rely on herself.

Miaomiao trembled.

Those photos violently stimulated her memory.

Everything came alive!

She felt as if she were once again placed in that dark, damp cell. All she could hear were the pained groans in the dead of night, the sound of blood dripping onto the floor.

She writhed, limbless, skinless, reduced to an indescribable mass of flesh and blood.

Pain.

Unending pain in her body every moment.

As if countless sharp knives were madly cutting every corner of her body, every second of every minute.

She screamed for Mommy with all her might.

She was hungry.

She wanted to eat, she wanted to drink.

She found something, she didn't know what it was, she devoured it ravenously.

She heard Mommy's voice, she tried to crawl towards it, following the scent.

She saw Mommy's body disintegrated into many parts. She was terrified. She tried desperately to put Mommy's body back together.

But she couldn't do it. She couldn't stitch Mommy back together.
