Ling Chuxia was anxiously waiting for Shi Che’s response, but she hadn’t expected him to say something like this. Startled, her shoulders were gently turned around by someone, and she inadvertently came face to face with Shi Che.

Ling Chuxia was somewhat startled, raising her eyes to meet Shi Che’s dark ones, but it was too dark here; she couldn’t clearly see his expression or his eyes, "Why?"
"You want to know my response, right? Close your eyes first. I’ll tell you once they’re closed."
Although she didn’t know Shi Che’s intentions, she did really want to know the answer. Ling Chuxia looked at Shi Che for a few seconds, her eyelids gradually falling, and her eyes slowly closing.
After closing her eyes, Ling Chuxia quietly spoke, "Alright, Shi Che, you can speak now."
Whether it be good or bad, she was ready to face it...
