Feeling the jacket warmed by Shi Che’s body envelop her, Ling Chuxia’s body involuntarily shivered violently, reflexively trying to shake off Shi Che’s hand. Yet, Shi Che’s voice slowly arose behind her, "Even if you hate me, you don’t need to be so harsh on your own body. If you fall ill again, you’ll end up seeing me even more."

Shi Che’s voice was faint, but Ling Chuxia still caught the threatening undertone. She gritted her teeth, her expression cold, but she did no more.

Shi Che’s lips imperceptibly curled up as the green light came on. He settled back into his seat and started the car.
