Chapter 1397 Pep Talk - Itching to get our itch itched
As the night drew to a close, the only good thing I could say that came out of it was that despite the feeling of inferiority to someone they had never even met, a fire lit up in their asses—especially with Kaley and Tatiana.
Quinn couldn't care less, of course, which was a good thing in itself—and I'd hate to use this term, but from the "side" girls it felt like some of them resigned to the fact that if this "new" girl, Aoi, could do all those things they've heard from me and a few people, getting to "main" girl status was getting more and more difficult or even downright impossible.
Because when we were all lounging around in my house, it didn't actually show but the vibes were as if they were beginning to distance themselves from me and the "main" girls—and don't get me wrong, I'm not a prize per se, but they really shouldn't compare themselves to other people or in this case, my older sister, Aoi.
So, I help an impromptu pep talk:
"Alright~ Alright~ Everyone who's in our cult—which is all of you, heh, gather around~ gather around~"
Cynthia was the first one to react, "What is it now?"
"Yeah, what is it about?" June added.
Cindy rolled her eyes, "It's for all of you—"
Eden chuckled, "You're one of us, dumbass—"
"What did you say—"
"I was just—"
I waved them all off, "Enough, enough. Stop fighting. Let's get to the fucking point, I just wanna say that the vibes feel fucking off, it's like I woke up one day and everyone started wearing a bushel of bananas as necklaces out of the blue."
Quinn tilted her head, "Hah? What are you on about?"
I pointed at her to prove my point, "Exactly. Look, no one's saying— I mean, some of you had already said a few things but the silence from everyone else speaks volumes.
And yeah, this cult of ours is unique in its own right but if the reason for the vibes of it feeling off was due to the pressure of having requirements just to get on the ship to Japan—and this sudden 'New Challenger' who appeared out of the blue despite being mentioned many times before who also happened to be my childhood friend, sister, and a supposed Olympic medalist... then... can I just ask everyone to cut themselves some slack?
And if you really have issues with it, can we talk about it now? I'll answer everything I can, I promise."
"..."

"..."
"Hmm~ She used to cry when fed vegetables but now, she'd just munch on a cucumber as a snack—"
"Ugh— Give us something we can use now!" Cynthia exclaimed.
"Yeah!"
"You two— She's deathly afraid of ghosts and she'd have nightmares even from watching a horror flick—but funnily enough, she's engrossed about true crime documentaries."
Mrs. Sandy chortled, "That's all women, dear..."
Hearing that, everyone else just laughed out loud because that statement couldn't be more real. Even my late mom used to binge every series she could lay her hands on—whether it be a documentary or one of those TV shows involving crime scene investigators.
In any case, we chatted a bit more until we headed back to our room, and this time, Kaley, Tatiana, and Quinn were the only ones present.
While I do know that everyone else had more or less gotten over the fact about the image of Aoi-san in their heads, this wasn't a reflection of that—and it was just one of those things where they didn't feel like it or had some other thing going on.
Funnily enough, I just watched the three sink into our bed—and I joined them while watching the random show we were playing on the TV—but Quinn went down to fix herself a large bowl of our homemade ice cream and not even bothering to share it with us.
"Fix your own! If you told me you want some earlier, I would've— no, I'd still tell you guys to come down yourselves..."
Kaley teased, "It's fine, that might be cravings for a special reason, ya know?"
Quinn rolled her eyes, "Eh. Now I'm thinking we really should've followed through with us waiting for a bit so you have the quality shit in me."
I rolled my eyes, "I mean— you should've stopped all the shit you've been taking before we tried be it alcohol or Anavar—"
"I told you, I'm off it! The drinking thing's a problem but this could be side effects of what I used to put my body through... It's totally not your fault. It's mine, if anything. And if we aren't really successful, I'll just enjoy the trying part and be a badass aunt like Tatiana— Hey! Don't put your fingers in my bowl— Tatiana, stop!"
Tatiana just gave Quinn a look, "You put fucking rum in this?" Your adventure continues at empire
"It's good, right— OH, FUCK! I really shouldn't have, huh? Shit! It's just the habit of mine— Does alcohol really affect the chances that much?"
Kaley answered, "It does make it harder to conceive and with the amount you usually drink, it's really~ bad for you... Just saying... Also, if you did get pregnant, it increases the chance of a miscarriage and your baby having a low birthweight... Oh— Thanks, I guess?"
At that point, Quinn handed us three the bowl to finish—albeit begrudgingly—but she just jumped off the bed and started taking her clothes off and looking at us as if she wanted us to hurry.
In any case, we took our sweet fucking time eating the bowl of ice cream with fruits, nuts, and rum—but Quinn was already itching to get her itch itched.
