Chapter 1339 Tierra Del Sueno Homes II
Chapter 1339 Tierra Del Sueno Homes II
while i tend to do things all at the same time, i was informed that mr. garciano would almost always take the passive or defensive stance whenever possible, and it was affecting his soldier's view of him. but yeah, we could still argue that he kept them alive all this time—and he did take a pretty big step by going against mr.
crisologo's back—but it seemed like his people wanted more from him and not just go with the flow or be a fence-sitter.
still, even if i am agreeing with them slightly, there were order to things and it was one of the reasons we came here.
i scratched the side of my cheek as i asked them to stop being that open in dissing their leader:
"look, the way he's doing things might not be in alignment of what you all wanted but you should be discussing such things when you're having general meetings— and you can even set a private one, if you like. it's one thing to be unhappy with your current leader and it's another awful thing to badmouth him in front of one of his colleagues.
he's one of the nice-er, a little weird ones out there and there's a lot you can accomplish by simply talking face to face instead of doing it in his back."
but the sergeant and captain looked at each other for a moment before sighing.
then sgt. lorraine continued, "we... we already tried to address the issue but his... his decisions would never change and it was already a surprise that he allied with you. we all thought that he'd be stuck with that loudmouth till the end of time."
captain dagan nodded, "that's true... not to say this in a bad light but we've heard of your exploits from mauricio's people and we'd rather serve you—"
i shook my head again, "again, there's an order to things and we should all talk about this with him in private, not out in the open. i dunno about you all but this place is fucking impenetrable and it's all thanks to him and all of you combined. you did all this and he should receive some merit in that regard."
captain dagan sighed, "we understand that, we do. but now that this place's a fortress, we should start going out again— a little more aggressively rather than sending out a few teams at a time. have you heard of cabin fever? we're all pretty close to having it if we stay one more goddamn—"
"okay, okay, we'll talk some sense to him and work something out. where's the way to the greenhouse and have any of you informed him of our arrival?"
sgt. lorraine shook her head, "not yet."
"why—"
sgt. lorraine turned to captain dagan before she answered, "we... we'd love the small window to talk to you about this personally and before we go further, even mr. mauricio was in agreement of our complaints. something should be really done."
"well... haa... go ahead..."
"it's about this place. it's great and fortified and all but from the brief moment i was here and from the brief talk i had with your officers, it seemed like some things should be changed or be given another look over."
mr. garciano then looked at me solemnly, "it's that bad, huh?"
"not that, 'that', bad but it's still very reversible. if we can talk it out—"
he then waved me off, "no need. i grant you authority, i'll see to it that your orders get heard and i'll be in my house if you ever need anything! is that okay?"
"wut?" i've never been confused, "no, no, no... i'm just here to help you, not to do this shit for you, understand?"
"but i'm already doing what i wanted to do, now you're just suggesting what everyone else wanted to do. isn't that right?"
"that's not how this works. we should communicate—"
"we are. we communicated. you want some things done while i don't. end of story—"
"no, the fuck it's not! the fuck happened to you?!"
"nothing! wouldn't it be easier if i just let you do what you want?! there! done! happy?!"
"..."
i was stunned in silence for a moment before i suddenly filled the room with killing intent. i've never heard such fucking bullshit before and i have to get to the fucking bottom of this before i use his fucking head as a rock to smash coconuts open.
and ignoring everyone else who reeled back from the sudden pressure, i literally had to sit the dumbass down because i couldn't believe this was the person i met some weeks ago and had a very nice conversation with.
it was like he was evolving but backwards and i need to put a fucking stop to it.
