"Watch out!" Sima Ye shouted when he saw a few disciples from the Six Pulse Sword Sect coming from the side.

Zhao Jia Rui, Du Feng and the other Qing Feng Sect disciples turned towards them and unleashed a torrent of twirling wind in that direction.

The axe swirled as it shot at Sima Ye and the blades emitted a torrent of slicing waves as it did so.

Guards from the Sima Family tried to stop it before the axe reached Sima Ye but the golden glow from their Golden Armor cracked when the slicing waves struck onto it.

A few of the guards standing in the way were hurled to the side with a trail of blood following closely behind them.

Dang!

Sima Ye unleashed a twirling wind strike at the axe and the impact caused the axe to let out a loud metallic sound.

His twirling wind strike successfully stopped the axe, making it fly up into the air.

It was, however, not over yet for him as Dual Axe Ong was right behind it.

Before Sima Ye could unleash his next strike, Dual Axe Ong was already right in front of him.

Dual Axe Ong swung the axe he had in his hand at Sima Ye, and he raised his other hand to retrieve the axe which was falling back down from above.

And with the swing of his axe from such a close distance, Sima Ye was caught by the axe as it sliced through his chest.

Blood seeped out from his wound immediately in a straight line across his chest and the pain struck Sima Ye soon after.

"Argh." Sima Ye gritted his teeth and turned his sword upwards.

He thrust the sword at Dual Axe Ong’s chest and the twirling wind shot out from the tip of the sword at it.

Whoosh.

Dual Axe Ong leaned back as the twirling wind ripped through the air.

But he only managed to dodge it just in the nick of time.

The twirling wind still managed to slice bits of cloth and skin from his chest.

"Damn you!" Dual Axe Ong shouted in frustration as he swung both his axes at Sima Ye from the sides.

Sima Ye gritted his teeth and gave a frontal kick at Dual Axe Ong’s belly.

The kick landed and Sima Ye made use of the opposing force from his kick to get away from where he was.

The axes from Dual Axe Ong missed him and Sima Ye was a distance away from Dual Axe Ong in the next moment.

Dual Axe Ong let out a roar and he swung his axes in a circular motion, driving them down from above.

The blades of the axes emitted a blue glow and two slicing waves shot out at Sima Ye.

Bricks on the ground were ripped out as the slicing waves traveled along it towards their target.

They were so much faster than the other attacks from Dual Axe Ong, and Sima Ye could only try to block them with his sword.

One of the slicing waves was blocked by his sword but the other cut off a piece of flesh from his shoulder.

His body tried to regenerate and heal the wounds but it was not enough.

He needed to take some Restoration Pills to recover.

But the situation made it impossible for him with Dual Axe Ong brandishing his axes at him at the moment.
