Chapter 1626. Who drugged Yi Xin?

"Mr. Lu, Miss Yi Xin is right here."

As he spoke, he helped push the door open for him.

Inside the private room sat four or five middle-aged men, chatting and laughing animatedly. They all seemed to be in good spirits and did not expect Lu Moqing to come over.

Seeing him brought to the room by the restaurant manager, surprise showed on their faces.

"President Lu, what brings you here?"

Everyone in the private room was a familiar face in the business world, and Lu Moqing knew each one of them.

They were all well-known either in the business world or in pleasure places.

Lu Moqing glanced at them and asked coldly, "Where’s Yi Xin?"

"Miss Yi? She’s in the restroom, President Lu, why are you here..."

Lu Moqing ignored them and went directly to the restroom, knocking on the door. "Yi Xin? Open the door, I’m here."

The people in the private room had no idea why Lu Moqing suddenly appeared with displeasure on his face, nor did they know why he went straight to the restroom.

Lu Moqing stood at the entrance to the restroom, and the person inside seemed to have heard his voice, finally stirring.

The slightly more perceptive ones thought of Yi Xin’s flushed face when she came out of the restroom earlier, her gritted teeth, hoarse voice, and trembling legs. It was obvious she had been drugged.

All the men present changed their expressions when they heard this.

Upon recollecting Yi Xin’s appearance earlier, they felt their heart skip a beat.

"I didn’t do it. Though I like to play with women, I know my limits. Yi Xin is not someone we can mess with."

"Exactly, considering the occasion tonight, even if we wanted to play, we wouldn’t choose this time or a woman like Yi Xin. We’re not crazy."

The other men echoed the sentiment, nodding their heads in agreement.

"Then what happened?"

Everything seemed fine when they first came in, but how did she end up like that after she went out?

None of them could figure it out, but thinking of Lu Moqing’s cold expression as he left, their hearts inexplicably skipped a beat.

When Lu Moqing helped Yi Xin out of the private room, her legs were trembling, and her body temperature seemed very high. She clenched her teeth and kept quiet.

She walked slowly, her forehead full of cold sweat.

Lu Moqing glanced at her sideways and whispered:

"Can you hold on?"

Yi Xin looked up at him, her eyes watery and pitiful, "It’s okay."
