Chapter 835: Chapter 537: His Film Crew (3)

In this public setting, the two couldn’t really say anything particularly private.

After lunch, in the afternoon, Zhou Yun and Song Chi returned to the hotel to rest and took a nap.

By evening, the sunset came out, dimly.

Song Chi got up from the bed, washed up briefly, and prepared to head to the set.

He had a night shoot today.

Zhou Yun was already awake; she lay on the bed, her pupils darkly looking at Song Chi.

Song Chi said, "You don’t have to wait for me tonight. I’ll be back very late."

Zhou Yun nodded.

Song Chi was going to the set to film. Zhou Yun originally wanted to accompany him but then reconsidered, deciding against it. If she went, she would more or less interfere with their work.

After Song Chi left, Zhou Yun dozed off again, and when night fully fell, she stretched her limbs and sat up from the bed.

It’s rare to have nothing to do and be able to relax.

Feeling hungry, she hesitated about where to eat dinner and decided to take care of it at the hotel.

Thinking it over, she felt it was better not to trouble herself and solved it at the hotel.

So, she tidied herself up briefly and went downstairs to the hotel restaurant.

Many people think celebrities will cause a huge commotion when appearing in public, but actually, most of the time they just get recognized, greeted, or asked for a photo.

Most of the time, people won’t actively come up to greet you; they just take a picture with their phone.

This time had already passed the peak period for the hotel restaurant, and Zhou Yun ran into some acquaintances from the entertainment circle.

There were quite a few strangers too.

Zhou Yun got herself a bit of food and found a seat.

Of course, people around would take pictures with their phones.

Zhou Yun ate as if nobody was around.

Luckily, no one came over to greet her.

After dinner, Zhou Yun planned to take a walk downstairs to aid digestion.

By chance, she ran into Jiang Yuzhen.

Zhou Yun and Jiang Yuzhen had co-starred in "Heart Inquiry," so they were acquainted.

Jiang Yuzhen said, surprised, "Why are you here? Just arrived?"

Zhou Yun smiled and called out, "Yuzhen," saying, "I arrived at dawn today. Aren’t you filming tonight?"

"I don’t have any scenes tonight," Jiang Yuzhen said, taking Zhou Yun’s hand, "You came to see Song Chi? Where are you headed now?"

"I just finished dinner, planning to take a walk," Zhou Yun said.

Jiang Yuzhen said, "Then I’ll join you. I just returned from dinner too. Did you eat at the hotel restaurant?"

"Yes," Zhou Yun nodded, "Song Chi had scenes to shoot tonight so he went to the set; I just ate alone in the restaurant."

"If I’d known earlier, I would have asked you to join me." Jiang Yuzhen laughed.

The two walked out of the hotel along the greenbelt nearby.

The evening breeze was soft.

Jiang Yuzhen said, "In a flash, it’s been almost two years since ’Heart Inquiry’ wrapped up."

"So fast? Really?" Zhou Yun thought carefully, realizing it’s been over a year, almost two.

She couldn’t help feeling a bit melancholy, saying, "Time flies so fast."

"Yes, time really flies," Jiang Yuzhen nodded, "But you’ve been with Song Chi for quite a while now, right?"

"Yes, it’s been over a year," Zhou Yun said, "Time really goes quickly."

"Have the two of you considered when to get married?" Jiang Yuzhen asked.

Zhou Yun smiled and shook her head, saying, "We haven’t thought about that yet."

"How old are you this year?" Jiang Yuzhen asked.

Zhou Yun said, "Twenty-five."

Jiang Yuzhen nodded, "Then there’s no rush, but in a few years, it’s a question to think carefully about."

"We’ll talk about it then," Zhou Yun asked, "Yuzhen, how old is your kid?"

"Five already," Jiang Yuzhen said, laughing when she mentioned her child, "At the cheeky age, but truly sweet when being sweet."

Zhou Yun nodded.

"You definitely shouldn’t follow some actresses who worry that once they get married and have kids, they’ll lose market appeal and can’t play young roles; many are in their thirties and still won’t marry, just to maintain their market image, which isn’t good for themselves," Jiang Yuzhen said. "If they really don’t want to marry and have kids, that’s one thing, but to feel anxious for these reasons, only to regret it later."

"I’m not thinking that way; I’ve just never considered these things. I always feel like I’m not particularly mature yet," Zhou Yun explained with a smile, "Give it a few more years, maybe I’ll be more mature then, and I’ll be more confident in myself."

Jiang Yuzhen said, "As long as you understand."

Jiang Yuzhen shared this because her own marriage is very happy, her family life is beautiful, and she has seen people who’ve gone crazy pursuing their careers, losing many other beautiful things and ultimately regretting it.

Zhou Yun understood Jiang Yuzhen’s intentions.
