Legendary Professions!

Although there were two rare professions listed first, all of Yan Qing’s attention was fixated on the final Life-taking Messenger. This was the first legendary profession he encountered, so powerful it made the blood boil!

Despite offering the least increase in base attributes, just 30 points, and seemingly only having one trait, Asura’s Fury, it completely justified the strength of a legendary profession!

Killing to increase attributes, killing to boost true damage! Even though it only applies between players and doesn’t affect demons, it carries a true damage easily triggered!

While it doesn’t compare to Celestial Calamity Karmic Force, compared to the Silver Hunter milestone of Mansu Forest Land, Asura’s Fury doesn’t require a specific environment, nor does it have a built-in cooldown, and it’s incredibly easy to enhance!

The second trait inheritance is also significant. With the value guaranteed by Asura’s Fury, players can first change to a profession with a strong mechanism before transitioning to Life-taking Messenger, thereby obtaining both value and mechanism!

Yan Qing even felt this profession was excessively overpowered.

However, upon further consideration, this is a legendary profession that can only appear in real mode, and Asura’s Fury is tied to Colorless Slaughter Value, meaning players must hunt Blood-colored Asura to increase the layers of Asura’s Fury. Furthermore, players cannot switch to Blood-colored Asura since Colorless and Blood-colored Slaughter Values cannot coexist.

Blood-colored Asuras have the Asura Token that can pierce defense. Meanwhile, the Colorless Asura milestone offers only attack and defense bonuses.

Yan Qing could kill so many Blood-colored Asuras because this world’s Blood-colored Asuras have poor equipment, and the Rabbit Heroine coincidentally changed to Heavy Rain Messenger. In-game, real mode players attempting to kill Blood-colored Asuras to accumulate Colorless Slaughter Value would likely be slain first by the Blood-colored Asuras.

Ultimately, real mode and PvP are inherently two paths of gameplay. Other players in Asura mode can resurrect indefinitely; pitting a real mode character against them is like crashing porcelain against stone—winning ten times won’t matter because stone won’t break, but failing once will shatter the porcelain.

With that perspective, if placed in the game, the Life-taking Messenger profession would not be considered overpowered; rather, it simply offers enormous risk and reward.
