Boiling Beast Bloodline

Chapter 1965 - 631: The City Gates Open

Chapter 1965 - 631: The City Gates Open

"Have the Beamon defenders in this city gone mad?" Seeing the city gates wide open, and the drawbridge lowered, the supreme commander of the Aegean Coalition’s vanguard troops, Said Kas, could hardly believe his own eyes.

In his twenty-five years of military service, this battle-hardened veteran had never before encountered a city that dared to open its gates and calmly face the enemy with a large army at its doorstep.

"There are only two possibilities: either they’ve gone mad, or they are too confident." A burly Mulan General dropped the massive wooden mallet that was as large as a drum, flexed his thick arm, took a bowl of milk graciously handed to him by a beautiful maid, drank deeply, wiped the milk from the corners of his mouth, and said emphatically, "Chief Said, I firmly believe that the Beamon, who worship strength to an extreme degree, undoubtedly belong to the latter."

To proficiently wield the heavy Uzi Curved Knife, every Mulan Mojie must incessantly train their arm strength with a weighty mallet during leisure time; none of the Mulan Mojie who possesses superb swordsmanship has an unblemished arm, with the hand they use to wield a sword far more muscular in both wrist and arm than the other.

The speaking Mulan General obviously possessed incredible physical strength, evident from the gigantic mallet he used to train his arms moments ago.

"I don’t enjoy mocking others’ arrogance, but today I can’t help but entertain such thoughts." Mulan’s chief commander, Said Kas, pressed his bloodshot eyes against the bronze telescope, carefully observed the number of Beamon soldiers on Witherspoon City’s walls, and clicked his tongue: "Look! There’s no sign of large-scale troop deployment on the city wall. It’s truly puzzling. Are these Orc brutes deliberately luring us to attack and planning to tackle it with small forces?"

"Chief, shouldn’t I go and correct their misconception?" The burly General grinned, clapped his hands heavily, and four Mulan strongmen heaved a gigantic curved sword towards him, chanting "huh-yoo huh-yoo." This enormous warblade’s length and width rivaled an adult man’s build, curved harshly, exuding strong martial allure, and adorned with Cat’s Eye Gems, produced only in the distant East, on its scabbard.

Just like pinching a trivial bean sprout, the burly General grabbed the enormous warblade carried by four, gently stroking the ornate scabbard inlaid with gold and jade in his hand: "Eagles can’t tolerate rabbits’ provocations, and lions respond to antelopes’ mockery with claws and fangs. Since these Orc brutes have already sent out an invitation, it would be remiss for us Mulan Mojies not to visit! This time I’ll cut down a thousand Beamon baby heads to adorn my sand lizard steed!"

"Humaid Fakhar Yabshan, the opponent surely has made thorough preparations to dare engage so recklessly. Though Beamon acts impulsively, there can’t be not a single clever mind in a whole city! Now that part of our Phantom Beast Knights and Scout Cavalry have been dispatched, let’s wait and see. Messenger, order all cavalry to form up directly in front of this city first!" After calmly issuing the first order, Mulan’s chief commander Said Kas leisurely remarked to the burly one: "I do not expect to take this city presently. The Euphrates River wasn’t carved out in a day! Getting a closer look at these Orc brutes’ long-range firepower isn’t bad either. I’ve heard of their renowned House Archers, and although sources say this city isn’t their station, caution never hurts! If we can acquire precise firepower distribution data, it would save Mulan Mojies some precious lives in future sieges."

This burly General named Humaid Fakhar rolled his eyes and looked disappointed.

He is the Pasha of the Mulan Empire, commanding the royal capital’s elite troops {PS: In Blood Beast lore, "Pasha" is the desert term for chief commander.}, another Mulan Empire sand lizard knight, and the publicly acclaimed top master of physical strength and swordsmanship among all royal tent Mojies; in the vast Taklamago Desert, the halo of fame has always been solely over Rommel, while Sand Lizard Knight Humaid Fakhar is synonymous with a god of killing.

His favorite thing to do is to clean and dress captured enemy soldiers like slaughtered lambs, season them with rare spices, and roast them into delicious meat to accompany his wine.

This Mulan Yabshan, more ferocious than a beast, after conquering all the desert countries, now eagerly wishes to spread his fearsome reputation unto the Aegean Continent as well; leaving aside whether his aspirations are normal or perverse, from the perspective of pursuit alone, it is not unlike literary figures longing for their works to be world-renowned and eternally celebrated.

The Bimon Kingdom’s various military branches and combat styles have long been studied by the Mulan Empire, especially after the Kalimantan Massacre; most of this information has been declassified. However, considering Humaid Fakhar’s military rank, even if such information remained classified, the military headquarters, Tirletai, wouldn’t shy away from his kind of Pasha. {PS: In Blood Beast lore: Yabshan is the desert term for "General," and Tirletai means the military command, which was previously mentioned but perhaps forgotten, hence a reminder.}
