Chapter 181 - Imperial World's Leadership

Jiang Yingyue could see the hopeful light in Han Qingshan's eyes. She could also sense his nervousness, and although she had felt somewhat worried and slightly uncomfortable about sharing a bed with a man, she could not make herself decline his request.

She sighed deeply and shook her head as she looked at Han Qingshan with a helpless expression in her eyes. "You better not try anything," she warned him. "If you do, then I won't let you sleep here another time."

Han Qingshan lit up with a brilliant smile, his nervousness vanishing, and he was so ecstatic that he rushed under the blankets like a good boy.

Jiang Yingyue felt exasperated and unable to control him, but her lips were curved upwards, and she slowly turned to look at Han Qingshan.

He dragged her into his embrace and let her rest her head on his chest, the two of them suddenly feeling blissful and complete.

They did not need to do or say anything. Lying like this, with Jiang Yingyue's head on Han Qingshan's chest, listening to his steady and reliable heartbeat, and Han Qingshan feeling the petite and dainty woman in his arms. The two of them suddenly felt as if the world was perfect.

Like this, the two slowly drifted to sleep. Neither of them spoke; they just savored the delightful feeling of being together.

The following morning, Han Qingshan woke up first. His eyes opened slightly, and he felt that the bedroom was different from usual. Looking around, he quickly remembered that he was sleeping with Jiang Yingyue, and when he looked at the small woman who was nestling in his embrace, his heart felt so full that he could not control the smile on his face.

He tightened his grip around her waist, but when he realized what he was doing, he quickly let go, afraid that he was waking her up.

He could feel her breath on his chest, he could feel her body so close to him, and he knew that this was happiness. To be close to the woman he loved, he could not think of anything else than holding on to the happiness he was currently feeling.

Han Qingshan was lying down and reveling in this feeling for a long time before Jiang Yingyue finally woke up.

Her eyes were glazed, and she was feeling slightly disoriented. However, she quickly grasped the steady heartbeat against her ear, and she was feeling much more secure.

Although she had woken up, her body did not want to move, she was feeling incredibly comfortable in Han Qingshan's arms, and she could not help but rub her face against his chest and nestle even closer to his warm body.

She was still half-asleep and not completely aware of what she was doing. Her behavior was like a small kitten, her actions so adorable that Han Qingshan could not help but feel as if someone was gently scratching his heart.

He tightened the arms around Jiang Yingyue, and the two engaged in a deep embrace before Jiang Yingyue finally sobered up.

As she did, she pushed Han Qingshan away, feeling slightly embarrassed and bashful, but after considering it a bit more, she became a bit calmer. Han Qingshan was her boyfriend, and he belonged to her, there was nothing wrong with being touchy.

After convincing herself about this, she jumped out of bed, found some clothes to change into, and headed to the bathroom, where she quickly washed up and changed her clothes before heading towards the kitchen to cook a nutritious breakfast.

Han Qingshan quickly went to the bathroom afterward to wash up and get dressed. By the time he finished, Jiang Yingyue had cooked a simple and plain congee, and they quickly consumed it before leaving the condo.

Today was a busy day. It was a weekend, so there was no university. However, there were some things at Imperial World, which needed to be dealt with, and Han Qingshan headed straight for the office with Jiang Yingyue.

As they arrived, they found that Song Liwei was already waiting for them in the office, his face somewhat pale as he had spent the entire night dealing with the public relations about the whole drugging incident with Yu Xiulan.

"Assistant Song," Han Qingshan called out as he sat down in the chair. "I previously gave you free reins to Imperial World, and I plan on making you the one in charge again. If anything happens to the company, feel free to contact me, but if you can handle it on your own, then do so.

"I have a few other businesses I need to put my focus on in the next couple of months, and although I created Imperial World, it is now running without any overwhelming problems. This will also be a trial run for you," Han Qingshan said thoughtfully as he looked out the window.

"I will take over the Han Corporation and become the CEO. I cannot be the CEO of both Imperial World and the Han Corporation, and thus I need someone else who can take over here.

"You have experience running the business, so my thoughts are to leave it to you. If you manage to keep it under control and do a good job, then you will become the new CEO of Imperial World.. However, if you are against it, then I can find someone else to take over the job, and you can become his or her assistant, keeping your current job."
