Chapter 156 - It Was For Him

The young man was utterly shocked by hearing Han Qingshan's words. He had many things he had wanted to say, many stories he had wanted to spin about the young lover of Han Qingshan, but never would he have thought that this young master was so faithful towards his girlfriend, that he would trust her completely.

Seeing him stunned, Han Qingshan did not wait for him to recover and went back towards the car. He got in and drove out of the parking lot without a second glance at the young man.

As soon as Han Qingshan had left, the young man gritted his teeth as he fished his phone out of his pocket and dialed a number that he had not saved in contacts.

"Hello?" A lazy, decadent voice resounded on the other end of the phone, and the young man quickly relayed what Han Qingshan had said to him.

"So he has that much trust in his girlfriend? This will be troublesome then."

After saying this, the one who had spoken on the phone paused slightly before a chuckle was heard. "Well, it is more interesting this way. You have done what you could. Unfortunately, you can not return for a while. Han Qingshan is likely to follow you for now as he is probably worried about your purpose, so lay low until I contact you again."

The young man quickly assured the speaker that he would do what he could to lay low, and he promptly ended the phone call before the flattering smile that had been on his face the entire time vanished, and a ruthless light shone in his eyes.

Meanwhile, Jiang Yingyue and Han Qingshan went to a hairdresser who gave Jiang Yingyue a set of extensions that transformed her short hair long. The extensions were sewed in; they were fragile, but Jiang Yingyue was happy with them.

When the hairdresser was finished, a long time had passed. The sewn in hair extensions were from human hair, and they were very long, so long that they reached to her back, just above her waist.

She had also been given a straight hair bangs that was just above her eyebrows.

She looked so feminine and so stunning that when Han Qingshan looked at her, he was completely stumped for words.

Jiang Yingyue was slightly nervous when she looked at him. She wanted to be praised by him, and she could not help but bite her lower lip slightly.

Seeing her nervous expression, Han Qingshan's heart softened into a puddle, and he quickly went forward. He placed his hands on both sides of her face, and without hesitating for a moment, he leaned forward and kissed her on the lips, right in front of the stunned hairdresser.

Jiang Yingyue's face instantly turned red, but she did not push him away. Even so, the moment he released her, she buried her face in his chest, not daring to look at anyone, not wanting anyone to look at her either.

Seeing her behavior, the hairdresser chuckled slightly. It was rare to see such an innocent and shy girl nowadays, so it was like a breath of fresh air.

Han Qingshan also felt it was adorable, and he quickly paid the bill before leading her to the car and towards the office.

At the office, Han Qingshan once more buried himself in work while Jiang Yingyue was sitting on the sofa and reading.

She had previously complained to Han Qingshan about her job. She wanted to do proper work, not just sit as an ornament in his office, but he had told her that the most important role she had was to stay within his sight.

After discussing it for quite some time, Jiang Yingyue had no other option than to give up. He had been adamant on this, and she had no other choice than to accompany him.

Han Qingshan was busy working, and Jiang Yingyue was reading up on anything and everything she could. She would broaden her horizons and read a lot of different types of books, journals, and magazines.

She was currently reading medical and psychological magazines and journals. She had previously been reading books on business and art.

She was not born a young noble lady. She was unaware of so many of the things that Han Qingshan knew, and that the other ladies of influential families knew. She was unaware of them, and thus she had decided to give her all in trying to learn it.

Han Qingshan was aware of her thoughts. Although his heart ached when he saw how serious she was on learning all these things, he said nothing.

He did not want for her to be bullied later on for being unaware of certain things. Therefore he had no other choice than to let her continue studying on her own, continue gaining knowledge, and continue learning the things that others took for granted.

Right now, although Jiang Yingyue had educational credentials, they were in another's name. She had none in her own name, and it would take between half a year and a year for her to get them back in her own name with Han Qingshan's plans.

During this year she could learn as much as possible. Han Qingshan would supply her with anything she might need, and he would help her turn into a true matriarch of the family.

He knew that the Han family was immense. It was so incredibly vast, and most of them would definitely be against his relationship with Jiang Yingyue.. The more she could learn, the easier it would be to convince them of her abilities.
