Night.Madam Gu understood the young couple’s need for togetherness.

She could see that Bao Jingyan wasn’t the easiest; there was certainly something he needed to deal with.

So she thought of taking the little darling to bed.

The little darling, in a white robe with tousled hair, looked pitifully at Su Ruanruan.

Su Ruanruan naturally felt soft-hearted.

She said to her mother, "Let her sleep with me."

Madam Gu quietly said, "I’m afraid Jingyan won’t be happy about it."

She picked up the little darling and mumbled something before returning to the master bedroom.

She was terribly shy, so he carried her into the walk-in closet.

Su Ruanruan only then realized how busy he was.

She got up, washed, and changed before heading downstairs.
